a pitty that we were awake because of everybody going for break-fast and the slamming of the door to the reception/breakfast area in front or our room. Basic but good breakfast for the value, only expected better "Brötchen" in Germany (they were flappy), No orange juice (only a kind of nectar).

The room had the perfect size for solo travellers: You could work at the desk without feeling cramped and there was enough room to exercise on the floor. :) The furnitures were outdated but everything was clean and well maintained. Bed was comfy and you could sleep in peace since the neighbourhood is quiet. It might be different on week days since there is a building site nearby. There were enough shelves to put away your stuff. Bath room was clean except of little things like the calcified shower head or small mould spots inside the shower. Breakfast was small but good (also cheap!). Staff from the breakfast and at the reception were friendly. Yes, the hotel isn´t in the city centre but you can easily reach it with the bus from the central station (takes about 10 minutes) and after 2 minutes by feet you´ve arrived at the building. The room rate was also fair.

If you have to leave on Sunday morning and you´re travelling via public transport you should check the timetable for the busses: The first bus leaves at 8:47 am.

Location, very close to motorway, good parking , 24 hr reception. Room and bathroom has got everything you need. I could even open the window wide which makes a huge difference . Very good breakfast and nice lady serving tasty coffee.

Good starting point for bicycle rides, plenty of parking space, friendly staff, very clean room, good bed and a good breakfast. And this for a very friendly price. Also it was possible to store my bicycle in a shed for the night.

Building a little bit noisy (doors) but not as bad as most hotels. And I wouldn't mind foreign tv channels. People complaining about the style should look somewhere else and pay 50 procent extra. You are the one paying for the refurnishing every 10 years, don't you know? As long as it is in good condition and clean, and it really was. Also the demolishing next door is done, no complaining about that either.

In general, everything was not bad. As expected , and without any surprises. Good breakfast. Quiet area. Warm room. Comfortable enough bed. Good option for an overnight stay with breakfast.

There are no special remarks. A little "save" on the shower gel and shampoo. It would be nice if they cleaned the room more often and took the garbage every day reminded.

Breakfast was quite rich, multiple types of breads, different marmalades, hot coffee, fresh juices. Room was very clean and bigger than expected, hotel has a very calm environment. I spotted few rabbits on the field from my room's window, it was beautiful. Definitely will choose this place again when I visit. It is in walking distance from Hauptbahnhof also there are several buses from/to Recklinghausen HBF. I walked to hotel every time anyways because I really enjoyed city's calm atmosphere. Breakfast was really good. Everything met our expectations: clean room, hotel close to motorway, staff always very helpful. We will look forward to use the hotel at some point very soon.

No private TV Channel available, although they're standard in every flat without extra payment.
