Convenient location of the hotel. The room is clean, the bed is wonderful, the bed linen is snow-white. The pillows are uncomfortable, but the bed has a great headboard. There is a TV. Shower and toilet in the room. There is a hairdryer, heated towel rail, towels. There is a kitchenette with utensils, a hob, and a refrigerator. Wardrobe with mirror. There are no slippers or bathrobes. The view is beautiful, I lived on the 8th floor. The transport interchange is excellent. There is a supermarket nearby. I had breakfast at the hotel buffet, price 9.50 euros. For breakfast - buns, sausage and cheese slices, tomatoes, cucumbers, muesli, yoghurt, eggs, coffee, tea, juice. There is a tourist tax - about 3 euros per day.

It’s better to wash the windows, since the whole room is clean, but the windows are dirty with traces of birds.

The hotel is built into a former apartment building in a large housing estate in Rostock. It's easily reachable by various means of transport, including tram and bus. Since it's a major residential area there are supermarkets, bakeries, shops, restaurants, etc. very close by. Our room was spacious, nicely equipped with simple cooking facilities and a large bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. We had an upper-floor room with a nice view, looking over the area. We came by car and found a parking slot without problems, though the parking lots were very full. Since we only passed through and needed a bed for the night we didn't visit any other part of Rostock but with the area being well connected by public transport the hotel would in my opinion be a convenient and affordable place also for a longer stay.

There was a lingering smell in the entire hotel, seemingly stemming from the building itself. It wasn't bad enough to ruin our night but strong enough to be noticed.

Large room with huge windows! Very comfortable bed. The breakfast was nice, even if I'm vegan and my child autistic and seriously not into eating. (He ate two packages of nutcreme and drank some water, not ideal, but fed is best etc.) We only stayed for one night, but I'm certain this place is great for longer stayes, since it has a kitchen with a freezer and a tiny frige.

Nothing really. It's not very close to the central I guess, if you're bound to public transportation, and want to be close to the central. It is however close to the harbour, which is why we slept here one night.

The location was very convenient, as it is situated close to the public transport and a couple of supermarkets and lots of cafes/restaurants are nearby. The S-Bahn station is also within 20 minutes of walking (2 bus stations away), which is a fast and great way to get to the Warenmünde beach. You will receive a Guest Card which you can use on all public transportation within the city. The room was comfortable and clean, and came with some basic amenities (dishes, electric kettle, basic coffee machine,...) which is good for people who plan to stay for more than one night. The mattresses were very comfy for an overnight recharge. There is a coffee machine in the lobby which can give you an inexpensive boost in the morning, until you can get an espresso-based coffee elsewhere. All in all a very pleasant stay 👍🏼

One would think the room could use also offering some basic drink pouches (Teabags/Nescafé/etc.) for the price

Very clean, friendly, with all the facilities you need (spacious room and wc, incl. small kitchen, fridge + a separate laundry room). The hotel is out of city center: good to explore the countryside, and quite near the ferry harbour (which was our primary reason to stay here). Frequent tram connection to city center (the ticket is included in the city tax, which is a genius arrangement)

Rechability was great, the beach is 30-45 mins by bus/tram/train. Grocery store like netto and rossmann was 100-150meters away. Rooms were clean and comfortable sleeping (please note: there is no fan so at night it gets extremely hot)

Everything was quite well and clean, but just 2 feedbacks - 1) Breakfast has extremely less options for both days - not worth the money at all 2) Common washrooms and Shower rooms can be more cleaner as the showers were not in good condition.

I came with my bike from Sweden. It was easy to find the Gästehaus. I booked a room with shared bathroom. The showers and toilets were very clean and I was quite alone. The Gästehaus is in a suburb of Rostock but you can reach the centre with tram takes ca 25 minutes. The same time with bus to Warnemünde. It’s short walking distance to supermarkets. The room was good and there were also a small pentry with fridge and glasses and plates. Good value for the price. Better than I expected.

The only thing I can complain a bit is the noise from the building construction close to the house. But I was warned from the Gästehaus and also from other comments. So I was prepared and I’m not very sensitive for noise.

Great location and a very spacious room. Small kitchenette with all the essentials. Parking is conveniently located up front. Busses and tram stops are located around the corner, as are several shops, bakery and small grocery stores.

Shared shower facility is spacious and clean, but lacks hooks or a stool for towels and clothes. The window is only partially frosted ;-)

Great value for money. Secure bicycle storage. Shared bathrooms and toilets are OK as I never saw another person in them. Like having your own private facilities. Plus, we were given a public transport ticket. As it's very close to bus and light rail this was a bonus.

Roundabout cycle route to get there. Hardly their fault. Shame bicycles can't go through the tunnel to the ferry port for Denmark.

Everything went easy.. the gasthaus is more student-house like, but very clean and it serves its purpose. I would book it again. The room was very clean and it looked like a hotel room, if I compare it to the rest of environment. No complaints, just an observation!

The breakfast was satisfying, but simple.
