Fabulous family friendly resort - no cars in the main areas, so safe for older children to explore themselves. Plenty of activities and facilities for families - great playground and skelters for hire - lots to do, even in autumn. Superb location - just behind the dunes, with direct access to a beautiful beach. Two lovely restaurants - buffet and a la carte with beautiful views of the sea and beach. Appartments are spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and pleasant.

Strandresort Markgrafenheide is a perfect place for families with kids or without, everything is designed to fit these purposes, The apartment was beautiful, with balcony facing to the sea, we had a huge livingroom. The playground was great, placed next to the animals, the breakfast was delicious every day there was something new among the offers which is unusual. The beach is just nearby equipped with a high quality restaurant. Definitely, we will come back!

No cell reception in the room even with wifi, you have to do your own housekeeping as far as trash on check out day

Great location to stay in with kids and family holidays. Short walk to the beach, huge playground, kids activities, great indoor area. Also nice Spa and really good breakfast. The apartment was cosy and well equipped. Very nice staff. Also the accompanying Hotel app is very useful.

The people talked in the Sauna. Thus, it was a bit difficult to relax. Sadly we could only book breakfast for half of our stay. The other days were already booked out. We would have liked to know before that we need to reserve breakfast in advance. Our apartment had a scent of cold smoke in it. That was not so nice. Even though the apartment itself and rest of it was lovely.

you have everything what you need in your room and along the area. A really nice buffet and a nice sauna. We also love the natural beach an the direct access.

I think the price for the drinks are much to high all over the place. the Restaurant blaue Boje is much overpriced for what it is!

bad attitude of the young receptionists (girl), expensive bar/restaurant out of season, the pool is charged - I've traveled half of Europe when I stay in a hotel it's always included in the price unless it's something luxurious. Mosquitoes in the suite at the entrance without a net at the main exit to the outside table.
