Nice hotel in the small village of Salzgitter where I stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast offer is really good with large selection of food and drinks. The major surprise was really the very good food quality and presentation of plates at the restaurant for diner. I enjoyed the terasse at end of day for a drink and diner. Though my german is really bad, the staff was very helpfull during the service. Definitely a good place to stay during a business trip.

Very good sized room. Convenient parking. Decent Breakfast buffet with fruit and hot food options. Also the bistro/restaurant "Täglich" is part of the same hotel and is perfect for quick dinners/lunches and drinks. Very recommendable.
Nothing really. A minor point is that being an old building (but perfectly renovated) means that the bathrooms are a little small. During my stay, I also had a technical problem as one of the sealing strips on the shower was missing, which means the whole bathroom floor got wet. As I said, this is just a minor issue.

-The room was very cold during the cold days of January. All the heater were off when arrival.

The bed was very comfortable and tub really hot. The breakfast was rich with fine food. The room was well isolated.
There wasn't a bottle of water in the room or a food dispenser in the structure. If you arrive after 21 it's hard to find a place to eat or get some water.

Food options are limited at the restaurant (although very good, I recommend the cheese Panini). with a limited number of restaurants in the area
