I had to spend a night at the airport as my evening flight got cancelled and I ended up on an early flight on the next morning. The Wyndham in Stuttgart worked out very well. I had a similar case a few years ago and had a good stay at the Wyndham back then. I had a good stay this time again. The equipment and the rooms might have aged a bit, but the rooms are clean, very functional, and pretty fine for one night for sure. For an airport hotel, it surely does a good job. The location next to the terminal is great; nevertheless, there is hardly any noise in the room (despite the planes, a busy road and some construction next to the hotel). Furthermore, the price was very fair, particularly given that I booked only a few hours ahead. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast buffet is very good.

There is one minor thing: Having more water pressure in the shower (bath tube) would be great. Actually, it is not the water pressure itself, but the "shower head", I believe. It is okay to safe water with these devices, but some more water would be appreciated, nevertheless.

Smaller style hotel have a more pleasant atmosphere. Room location was nice due to morning sun rise...

Badly scratched up flooring in room 509 was unpleasant to look at, also due to a narrow lay out -- all ammenedies under der window -- were a bit too inconvenient to fetching all your belonings. Also reaching the hotel from the subway was terrible, since the direct passage was CLOSED UP, but no SIGN how to get around that huge Mövenpick with heavy luggage made me angry. Soooo glad it was a sunny day NO RAIN. This issue with building exists for a FULL 3 years, now.

Loved the breakfast, the bed was comfortable, rooms big enough and clean, in general hotel has the best location if you visit Stuttgart Messe area and Congess Centre, is close to the airport and the staff is nice.

The problem is, they have to have doors to automatically be closed because of the fire safety, however, these doors are closing heavily and they make a lot of noise, especially if someone who has room close to your room leaves at 5 am in the morning to get to the airport and they shut the door - the noise is so loud it will wake you up.

The food was great the selection is enough to satisfy and they have GLUTEN FREE options which very nice. The airport is close by so on foot about 10 minutes. Additionally we could manage to do a late checkin without any problems. The staff is very polite and friendly and speak fluently both english and german. Since I arrived for the Outworld 44 Klangkuesntler and Kobosil festival it was very convenient to arrive to Stuttgart messe. Would stop by here 100 for the festivals in the messe. The train connection is really close and takes directly to the city. So I do recommend if you plan to come on foot here. Bathroom has hairdryers and also there is a bathtub and minibar.

Liked it all. Maybe the TV-s are outdated and cant watch netflix but I had a spare hdmi cable. Walls are a bit thin, you hear people from the other side if they are very loudly watching the TV ( its because the TV is very closely mounted to the wall. But other than that id say its the best stay for the cash

Everything was up to expectations.

The parking situation. I paid a good amount of money to have a reserved parking spot. I left with my car for a night ride and when I came back, the staff told me to park on the other building and they will take care of it. When it was my time to leave, the staff from that building told me I haven't paid yet so I had to come back to the hotel and explain the whole situation to the staff. I almost missed my flight because of their lack of communication.

Location, location, location! Even with an early morning departure it was an easy stroll to the terminal. Bed was very comfortable and staff were very helpful.

The bathtub/shower was elevated, requiring ungainly access, especially climbing down with possible wetness. Everything worked, just noticeably cramped. This was second recent hotel where you basically needed to shower in the corner of the stall with half the shower hanging open. For one night it was ok - a longer stay would be problematic.

It was the best hotel I've ever stayed at for such an affordable price. The room had a comfortable and big bed, TV, desk, armchair, and even a children's room with a small bed for family trips. The bathroom was very clean and nice. Breakfast was included in the price and they really did serve a great breakfast and what's more, it was open until 10:30. It's a 5-minute walk to the airport. The staff were very kind and understanding. We stayed about 30 minutes longer than check-out time because we were packing our bags and they didn't mind. They said it's okay as long as you call next time and let us know you'll be late. In short, it's the most kind staff I've ever stayed at in Germany and the most affordable hotel despite being so close to the airport. We especially thank the gentleman at the reception who welcomed us for being patient and kind despite the large number of customers and the curly-haired lady at the reception when we left.

For example, you can put things like cotton buds for after showering, cotton wool for removing make-up, and toothbrushes in the bathroom.

Friendly staff!! We unfortunately didn’t speak German and they were kind and spoke in English and were very helpful. We also unfortunately got to the airport on the wrong day and they were very accommodating and helped to get us checked in a little early and all set to stay the night. Also, the food is phenomenal and the breakfast buffet was something we don’t see in the states!!

I really didn’t have any complaints about the establishment.

Location perfect for airport and easy on the door access to city centre. Lovely furnished large rooms of a high standard. Easy check in and the gentleman who checked us in was fantastic and ensured we had all info regarding restaurant opening, local trains etc. Friendly bar staff and spot on housekeeping staff.

When checking out the lady on reception kept asking for payment. We paid on arrival with a debit card but kept on going on about a credit card and held payment. Kept on showing her my bank statement to prove the money had came out but wasn't listening at all. This went on for ages until thankfully another member of staff intervened who actually knew what she was doing. We just made our connection by skin of our teeth because of this. Please ensure all staff know the difference between a debit card and credit card payment as if we had missed our connection due to this there would have been 6 extremely unhappy people, to make it worse she looked like a manager🤷‍♂️ other than that place was great

We had a great stay to overnight for an early flight. The location was excellent, a short walk to the terminal and S bahn station which we used to take the train to the Volksfest. It would have made it easy to get to the city as well. The woman who checked us in was fantastic, friendly and full of information to share. We felt very welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel for those that need a place to stay near the airport.
