We spent 5 nights at the Walhalla Hotel Regensburg Hoeferer. The beautifully maintained building has all the amenities one can expect from a high-quality hotel. The large garden is well-kept, the interior is designed with taste, the modern furnishings and appliances are of high quality. Everything is very clean and well cared for. The family is very nice; they made us feel at home. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful. The location, in a suburb of Regensburg, is perfect for a longer stay to explore eastern Bavaria. In sum, everything was perfect, we would love to go back!

Gerry and Antje welcomed us and made us immediately feel like we were in their home. We sat at their bar and enjoyed beers and great conversation. As a bonus, their dog, Charlie, was a very good boy and the chickens were very entertaining.

We were sad that our visit was only two days and that we did not have time to use the traditional sauna.

The property and all the people are fantastic. Even the chickens were entertaining. Close to Regensburg. Easy drive to Munich. Everyone was so friendly. Greeted every time just like you were family or close friends. Breakfast was a nice spread. Ground floor units 1-4 have patios so you can enjoy. I was treated to a few chickens walking along the grass on their morning walk. There are several places and things to do.

No issues what so ever with the property. Next Time (hopefully another time) I would have no issue staying here - in fact probably would go out of my way to stay here I recommend you NOT use Apple Maps to locate - they show the wrong place a half mile away. I have sent in the easier.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb breakfast. Very clean, spacious rooms. Very, very quiet. Close near Regensburg and Walhalla. Groceries (if you want or need some ) around the corner. Some good restaurants in walking distance (10-15 minutes max). Free parking.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Walhalla in Regensburg. The property blends modern, stylish design with well-equipped, comfortable rooms, offering a restful and enjoyable experience in the heart of the city. The management was incredibly helpful, responsive, and welcoming—it clearly has the feel of a family-run hotel where every guest matters. They not only made our stay comfortable, but also showed great flexibility by graciously adjusting our non-refundable reservation when our plans had to change. That thoughtful gesture, along with their warm hospitality, truly made a difference. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Regensburg. Best regards AA

Excellent host! Friendly, smily stuff, making your stay cozy and home-feeling. New hotel, with everything needed. Clean, comfy. Beds have very soft and special bed clothes. My highlight- Lavazza coffee machine (so better than nespresso!) Breakfasts are good, with wide range or special tea. Calming atmosphere of natur-hotel. Chickens (also very quite!) and super cute dog:) Good sauna with cold bath and hot-tub outside in the quite spa-corner. Free Parking right at the hotel outside.
