We were a little apprehensive about the checking-in arrangements, but they worked fine. The location is well out-of-town, but in a pleasant residential neighbourhood, and well-connected by buses, which run regularly from a nearby bus-stop. The optional breakfast was very nice, and the owner was friendly and sociable, which we appreciated.

Nothing to dislike. For the benefit of other visitors to Tubingen, despite being a long way from the city centre, the local authority has recently introduced parking meters throughout the city and suburbs. However, this meant that parking spaces were available, and unlike many towns and cities in Germany, they do not charge a tourist tax, so we did not mind paying. (We had to pay for parking at several hotels on our trip as well as the tourist tax: it's just one of the costs of travelling with a car).

I dare say this is one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in Europe; you could really tell that they took care of the very often overlooked details including water stains in the bathroom, limescale in the water kettle, and the waste bins. The room was also nicely lit with natural light during the daytime. Location-wise it was rather convenient: just a few minutes walk from the bus stop where you could catch Lines 2 and 6, and ca. 15-minute ride downtown/ to the university campus.

The property hostess was an absolute delight, helpful, and very attentive to my needs. It was immediately evident she takes great pride in her work, the property, and genuinely wants to make you feel at home and comfortable. Breakfast was ready and waiting for me both days. Selection is simple, with options for everyone, fresh and delicious.

Absolutely nothing! The room and facilities were immaculately clean, and very well appointed. Hotel Garni Sands is the reason I enjoy traveling in Europe. This, and ALL other properties I have stayed in on the continent, puts too many overpriced, dirty and dilapidated American motels to shame.

The location of the hotel is quite convenient, offering easy access to public transportation. Additionally, the hotel provides a serene and quiet environment for a restful stay.

Unfortunately, there was no second pillow available in the room, which was especially noticeable for a double bed. The provided pillow didn't match my preferred level of height. Since my stay was only for two nights, I didn't bother contacting the staff for an extra one.

The location is quiet. The hotel staff is very kind and friendly, helping me to find a good transport method to my destination. The hotel room is spacious and comfortable!

The check in and check out is perfectly organised that you don’t have to even think and contact in advance the place! it is spacious and clean place with nice little backyard
