It is very close to Stuttgart but outside the city surrounded by nature and trails. We could easily walk to the restaurant/Beer Garden Burg Bärle. Very friendly staff, especially the breakfast staff. Breakfast was everything and more than we like to eat and you could sit outside and look into the trees. The beds were comfortable. The hotel has many cosy sections where you could sit and read or visit with friends.

We were in the older section of the hotel and there for just one night and not to sit in the room so it wasn’t that disturbing for us to be in a room on the lowest floor without a good view. The next time I book there I would ask for a room that is at least on the second floor, maybe facing the forest.

Our room had a stunning forest view, adding to our stay's tranquility and charm. The personnel at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and supportive. We felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of from the moment we arrived. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist with any request made our stay even more enjoyable. Another great feature of this hotel is the underground parking with a direct connection to the elevator. This made it incredibly convenient to come and go without any hassle. The fast internet connection was also a huge plus, allowing me to work remotely without any issues. Lastly, the heating in the room worked perfectly, ensuring we were always comfortable, even during the colder days. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Stuttgart area. It offers a perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and natural beauty. We will be returning on our next visit!

There is only a disabled parking area outside, would be good to have 1-2 car park slots for short-term parking, for example when my son was coming to pick us he needed to wait on the driveway

Your location is fantastic! Away from the city but close enough to make daily tasks manageable. Dinner options were superb but breakfast was a little lacking- (only partook once) so maybe my experience is not indicative of your offerings. I would have appreciated more warm options and a wider selection of fruits/cheeses/cold meats. I appreciated the cleanliness of your location! I was more than impressed with the amount of attention paid to my room.

A delight for dog owners when one opens the door of the room to find a dog bed, mat, bowls, a quality dog toy and a packet of quality dog food. As an author of guide books for dog walkers, I can say that this is a very thoughtful touch which goes a long way in convincing dog owners to return to the property.

No personal criticism intended. The receptionist was a pleasant and helpful man however the registering system when guests arrive requires reviewing to simplify and speed up checkin which was an unusually long process on computer.

Nice hotel. Very calm area, My room was with the trees view and sound of a water flow. But if you open the window in a dark time with light on - lots of bugs will get to the room. Nature )

Breakfast good but I would say 10% of plates was dirty. That was first day. Ok, sh... happen. Next day was the same. I am not sure if frying pan and all other things for cooking was clean before restaurant start making breakfast. That was very frustrating. So I changed the hotel.

My car broke down in Stuttgart in the afternoon before arrival. Because of that we could only check at 21h30. Despite the late arrival, the staff agreed to prepare something for us to eat and helped us the best they could. They even called a taxi for us to reach the train station the next day. Breakfast is very complete with a big choice and fresh food. Wellness center seemed to be nice and clean. It's also possible to take a walk in the woods surrounding the hotel

Barely nothing. If I have to be picky, i would say that the rooms are not very well soundproofed and extra pillows in the rooms could be a plus.

I was given a room under the roof and it was beautiful, big and cozy. It felt like sleeping in a old house, very nice! Even though the hotel building is old and some of the furniture is too, the mattress was perfect (and new, I think), which is important for a good sleep. Additionally, the room was very clean, and I think this is very important too. The bathroom is very small but functional, with a comfortable shower. The staff was friendly and helpful, everything seems to be well organized, and for breakfast there is a good buffet. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel.

For a 4 star hotel, some things were a little poor and could be improved, in my opinion. For example, the bathroom product are only one shampoo/shower cream and a handsoap. Why not add a conditioner or a body lotion, for example? Also maybe slippers in the room or little attentions like that would be nice to have. The hotel wifi is unstable and slow (at least on the top floor), and I think this could be improved.

Great location adjacent to old Solitude race circuit. Large room overlooking woods so nice and quiet. Great German food. Would have stayed a couple of nights if we had realised there were so many things to do nearby.

No mention or acknowledgement of the historic race circuit - a few photos would have been good as it is the hotel's USP.

Staff was friendly and welcoming, all except the one front desk person who would only give 1 extra pillow, instead of the 2 we asked for. Good blend of modern and nostalgic feel. Plenary of room space.

The one guy who rationed pillows, which were flat. Difficult to keep water in the shower due to the location of the shower head and the half shower door.

The location is great - easy to get there from the highway, with a forest all around, quiet at night. The staff were very helpful and nice.

The interior is a bit former glory from the 90s, but all is clean and well maintained.
