Room was well appointed and the overall classic decor was world-class. High quality vibe. Regardless of my dislikes I would stay there again.

No bellman the day we showed (Easter weekend). We had to use the cart and transport our own luggage (60 and 76 year olds). Was given convoluted driving directions to get to rear parking area and had to improvise myself to find it--convenient though as right out in back! Pricey restaurant with limited menu.

Stayed at a very spacious Junior Suite with "town view". We liked the slight nostalgia of our rooms and felt the historic ambiance of this special place. The staff had been incredible attentive and we noticed that several of their guests were addressed by their names, indicating a true hospitality. We travelled over the the Easter period and indeed, the entire hotel had been decorated accordingly in the most beautiful manner. The breakfast had been sumptuous with our service being super attentive. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center and the main attractions can be reached in less than 5 minutes walking distance.

All had been fine. Nothing to mention.

Excellent hotel with a rich cultural history reflected in the various busts of artists, musicians and writers situated between the floors. It is associated most with Franz Liszt. Breakfast selection is not enormous but of very high quality with a good range of teas. Generous size of rooms. Attentive and interested staff. The foyer is beautiful.

The breakfast was outstanding, with a good selection of food to suit most. The location is fantastic; it is close to many sights tourists would typically visit. The staff were friendly and the hotel itself is stunning In terms of its design.

The bar wasn't open on a Saturday evening, which seemed odd, but drinks were still served in the restaurant, which was good, and the prices for the quality of the drinks were reasonable.

This is an old school hotel offering deep comfort in quiet, noble surroundings. It goes very well with the general historic atmosphere of Weimar and couldn't be better located. From museums to cafés and restaurants; everything is a short walk away.

The breakfast buffet was quite pricey for its offerings. No wide selection of breads (unheard-of in Germany), nor freshly cooked eggs. Also short on sweet offerings, catering more to cold buffet items, smoked salmon, caviar and sparkling wine.

Easy check-in with friendly professional staff at reception. Well-appointed, quiet, spacious, warm room, with excellent bathroom. Extremely good food in restaurant for evening meals and also at breakfast. Ideally located close to the centre of the old city. In summary, a first class hotel with first class staff. Strongly recommended.

We booked the junior suite for one night, which was a very charming and spacious room. Everything very clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated on a good and central location in Weimar. The staff was very friendly and helpful. 24hrs Recepetion. Unfortunately we had no time to visit the sauna (also did not notice it, where it was). We had no complaints and enjoyed our stay very much.

For such a big hotel the breakfast is a bit early (until 10). And for the price, we expected something a bit more surprising or unusual at the buffet.

Parking was too expensive and not convenient. Found place about 100 m from hotel on street that was much cheaper but hotel didn’t encourage or recommend this. Reception seemed a bit uptight and not used to Americans.

The location is excellent, in easy walking distance of all the wonderful sights and museums but very quiet. The room was big and the kitchenette was really useful.

Only minor niggles. The sofa was disappointingly hard and uncomfortable and it was difficult to get used to very flat pillows, but overall it was a great stay.

Everything was up and up. A perfect hotel with Imperial design, not a huge, but a big room with quite a cozy feeling. Very clean and functional shower/toilet, good bed with the supporting matrass. A perfect rich breakfast with properly chosen espresso coffee sort... What can I say? I'd be glad to return!
