I liked the hotel was one level and that the hotel had a restaurant attached. The breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of selection. The bed was very comfortable and not too hard, not too soft. Just perfect. The room didn't have air conditioning but there was a small fan that worked great. I picked this hotel because it was one of the cheaper hotels but well worth it.

The food selection at the restaurant wasn't that good but the food itself was good. The shower was very small for a big guy like me but I guess that's the standard European shower size.

Lovely looking building, very big breakfast room, nice little bar/restaurant area, great parking around the rear for motorcycles, good sized room and bathroom, very quiet location, very friendly and helpful staff. Oh, and a friendly catfish in the aquarium 😊

Nice quiet place with great service and comfortable rooms. From now on it will be on my favourites list. I will be happy to come back here. Update: i had not enough time to write more so doing it right now: Room: small 2 person room but very comfortable with nice large bed and well equipped bathroom. Food: i had a chance to stay for breakfast only but I think it was enough to have some opinion about it. Well, food quality is awesome: everything is really tasty, fresh and well served. Comparing to 4 star hotel in Amsterdam I think cook and staff in Hotel Haus Duden should receive 6 stars just for food. Parking spaces: plenty, considering size of this hotel. Placement: Nice quiet area, all surrounded by trees and silence. Really place I would like to come back for rest and charge up again. Hotel offer bike rent, massage and has plenty of space to organize trainings, conferences , etc. Everything at countryside, far away from city noise with comfort and kindness of staff. Can you imagine more comfort ? Hotel was introduced as a 4 star but I think it deserve 6. Seriously. I really felt there as a special guest, like everybody else, I think.

Nothing to improve. Seriously, it's the first time I left a place thinking that everything was so ideal I have nothing more to say. Big thanks for all the staff for making this place so special !

The main house is a lovely property it’s in a quiet location but easy access to everything.

The walk at night to the rooms at the back could do with more light as it’s next to a small wood. I didn’t arrive till 11:30pm and it didn’t feel that safe.

We were at the new wing. Highly recommend it. The view was towards the forest, quiet and cosy place with great relaxing view, just like at your own porch. The dinner was also exceptional. One should try the lamb and the pork. I enjoyed the stay after returning from the bike's round trip.

Good to find a personal hotel, with an interesting back history. Really nice setting and it felt comfortable. We had a decent meal made better by the super waitress who was full of care and enthusiasm..At breakfast I found something that was outstanding.Years even 6 decades of travel and finally there it was..The perfect openable tomato sauce sashet.Worth going to find and marvel..

We stay at the Hotel Haus Duden every March. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food is excellent. We'll be back again next March.

No bar or restaurant facilities for our Sunday visit, but in fairness we were informed of this at booking

Perfect location for our visit. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing.

Well it needs a bit of modernising but to be fair the traditional features of the hotel were lovely

1.Room is totally clean. 2.Substantial breakfast and nice coffee. 3.The tourist view of hotel is fantastic. 4.Most important is that the tea is good flavor.

1.Maybe it is better have slipper. 2.Will be better if have shampoo and shower gel
