We went there one night with my husband and our baby. We were very kindly welcomed by the owner and upgraded to a room with kitchen in order to help for the baby food preparation if needed. The place was situated 5min away from the Nurburgring track, where we were going on the next day. Parking is easy on-site at the hotel. Dinner was also easy to have, in a restaurant very close to the hotel. Breakfast was varied in the format of a buffet, and the owner kindly prepared us scrambled eggs on the moment. Good discovery, we would be happy to come back.

Everything. The room was huge, super clean, and nothing was broken. The view from our balcony was wonderful (as pictured). The host Ralf was very friendly and helpful. He gave us great advice for local nature explorations and he provided excellent service. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful (highly recommend their homemade strawberry jam). Plenty of parking. The village was quaint. If I ever return to Nurburg area, I will definitely stay here again.

The 3 beds were good but I wish they erected a bit softer. A pillow top or memory foam topper would do the trick.

Good hotel to stop if you travel from central Europe towards the Netherlands as I did, or if you want to race the famous Nürburgring ;) The hotel is situated in a rural area. Good and free parking site behind hotel. Very friendly service. Good clean and spacious room with all the essentials. Silent and one can open windows to let fresh air in. Great shower. Good breakfast with a special mention for the home made marmalade.

Actually not very much. I had a room in the basement on the back side, so not a great view. But okay for a one-night sleep. Good value for money.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Retterath. Everything was spotlessly clean, the rooms are wonderful and very comfortable. The owners are exceptional people — always present, attentive to every detail, and genuinely concerned about making sure we had everything we needed. The warmth and care with which we were welcomed made all the difference. Without a doubt, it’s a place we’ll be returning to!

The owner is very kind and attentive, the atmosphere is relaxed and easy going and the breakfast was lovely. Position is also good, 4 min away from the circuit but still far enough that it's not too noisy.

The mattress was a bit uncomfortable (nothing major) and the shampoo bags given were not enough for long hairs (but I could have probably asked for more!)

Such a great hotel. Booked this spot on a whim for my birthday (as a stopover for our first drive in Germany) as we just wanted a place to sleep. We didn't expect such a warm experience on top of that! The staff were so friendly, always up for a chat, and even offered a complimentary room upgrade. Breakfast was very generous and felt cozy and personal, not to mention tasty! The rooms were neat and clean, and the immediate surroundings are lush and really feel like you've 'gotten away' from the hustle and bustle. Would absolutely recommend to anyone passing through around Nürburg. P.S. Thank you for my little gift :)

Can't think of anything, everything was either up to standard or exceeded.

Great view on the alley to watch cars delicious breakfast even when I'm not taking it usually. Great variety and tasting so good I was able to get the right fuel for my body all day on the Nürburgring. The room was lit and the environnement quiet, if not, the widows were isolating enough to feel that quietness at night, important for me, living on floor in Paris

I loved everything. The hotel is in a strategic location near the circuit, yet surrounded by greenery and the most relaxing silence. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Kind and always courteous. The room was fantastic and the breakfast excellent. I hope to return soon.

It was a nice and big room 5 minutes away from nurburgring. Breakfast was good

The room curtains didn't black out the room when sunset started too much light came in couldnt sleep after sunrise one of the curtains was alittle too short could of been it or maybe a rolladon on balcony would be an improvement and maybe instructions on how to use balcony cause I couldn't figure it out how to open it

Spacious room. Newly refurbished hotel which was bright, clean and modern feeling. Excellent breakfast. Very welcoming staff.

The room was very clean and beds were comfortable, but with a hard floor, shutters instead of curtains, and no pictures on the wall, every sound echoed. The room needed a few small items like a rug, a picture on the wall and a soft chair to sit on.
