The owner and staff were extremely nice and the rooms were very comfortable. As an American traveling to a smaller city in Europe, we are used to staying in small rooms with small beds. This hotel was much closer to American standards and we were very comfortable. They also spoke excellent English. Even though we speak some German, it was helpful to be able to converse with them in both languages and you could stay here without knowing any German. They also had a wonderful included breakfast with plenty of good coffee and food. Their restaurant is the best for dinner in Mayen. Would definitely stay again if I ever return to Mayen!

Maybe parking should be more explained where it is, since you have to park in street that is one way, then have to go around. The parking sign to hotel is way too high to notice it

Very friendly staff, well-situated, and an extremely clean room with a comfortable bed.

A couple of ergonomic things in the room, especially there being no way of turning the main light on and off without going to the switch next to the door.

Location was excellent, 30 min from Cochem. Hotel is clean, staff is friendly and kind. Beds were comfortable and great shower & breakfast was delicious, the only issue I could find is that I didn't see an elevator. For us it was no problem but if I'd like to travel with my mom, going to the 3rd floor would be hard for her, of course if we go back with her, I'd request a room on the first floor.

Breakfast was ok, Room was nice, quite big, with balcony.

3rd floor without elevator is pain when You have heavy luggage, Would be nice to have info where to eat supper in neighbourhood, cause in August hotel restaurant was closed.
