The hotel staff were really nice, the hotel was very quiet, actually rather relaxing. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The staff at the breakfast buffet were extremely nice! The on site restaurant serves typical German food and beer. The food itself was really good , and great that you can eat on site. The walk to the town centre is about 5 to 10 minutes, and about 7 minutes to the train station. It's family owned- and you can tell the staff enjoy working there! The room was big for German standards. Perfect for one or two nights.

The hotel, like others have said, is a bit dated. Although my room hand a new floor, the furniture was somewhat old and there was some water damage on near the bathroom.

Friendly staff, the hotel has been there for some time, but for us it felt cozy. We enjoyed using the swimming pool as well as the 2 saunas. The breakfast takes places on 9th floor which was nice.

To use the parking lot, you need to pay 2 * 2 euro coin, or you need to ask for a special coin at the receptionist. If parking system is upgraded to license plate recocginiton + pay later, will be easier.

Spacious quiet room. Excellent heating. Safe. Fridge and more. Big bathroom. Instructions are by the phone are listed and clear. Parking is only €4/ night. Get the token before you approach the boom. It opens automatically upon exit. Restaurant food is amazing. On Thursdays you can eat as much Schnitzel as you want for €24.50. Breakfast on the 9th floor was great! There is a lift.

The outside entrance looks outdated. The magnifying mirror in the bathroom is far too high.

For anyone wanting to stay in Witten, this hotel is excellent. The staff are efficient and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them whenever we needed their assistance. The main restaurant and the breakfast restaurant provided very nice meals at very affordable prices. We would certainly return to this hotel without any hesitation. Arnold from England.

The staff was incredibly forthcoming! The decor seemed a bit outdated but that was clear beforehand from the pictures so not a critique point. Everything was very clean, the facilities (spa, pool, restaurant) were in great shape and well maintained.

The room is large and clean, the location was nice and the landscape around was beautiful. The breakfast was good. The SPA was great.

Not all sockers were working. Only few soccers that were easily accessible.

We didn‘t like the restaurant. Slow, expensive and just not very good. We would not eat there again.
