Bkfst was buffet style with variety of choices. The yogurt was delicious much better than what we have in USA! The hotel was a short distance ferry port and town, 7euros for taxi, but very easy walk to/from town. Path to beach across from hotel, ruins to explore on way to town. Very beautiful and relaxing stay. The staff at the hotel were great. Elipida (Hope) was very accommodating to all our requests; we arrived before check and they provided storage for our luggage, while we explored the area. When we checked out they stored our luggage again until we were ready to leave late that day and arranged a taxi to take us to the ferry port. If you have a day (or two) to spare in Athens, we highly recommend an overnight trip to this island and hotel.

Beautiful quiet hotel close enough to the town (10 min walk) but far enough to be in a quiet location. When you’re in your room you feel you’re in a beautiful bubble. Lovely balcony, great swimming pool. The staff is just fantastic and kind, great fresh breakfast and a few good options for lunch and early dinner if you want to eat there. I will definitely stay there next time. Just mind that you have to walk to the town every time. We liked that and we love walking specially in that lovely weather but if you don’t move much, consider it. A taxi to and from the centre is very cheap even at the late hours if uou go for drinks to the town square. Beautiful beaches nearby. Lovely place in general (and great aircon)

Maybe the breakfast and food options could be a bit more varied, but not a dealbreaker at all.

The hotel is within walking distance from Aegina port and features a lovely pool with comfortable sunbeds! All the staff, from reception to breakfast, cleaning and pool were really polite and helpful!

The hotel has a self-service pool bar, opening at 11:00 and closing early in the afternoon and manned with a single person during peak season in August. Since the pool area attracks so many guests, it would be nice to have the pool bar open for more hours, even for a drink at night.

I have stayed in this hotel on many occasions, so clearly must like it. I was delighted during my visit this summer to find that they had been busy refurbishing the Reception / Bar & Restaurant areas - these have been brought up to a superb standard. This is a little oasis of peace, tranquillity and friendliness on one of my favourite Greek Islands. Far enough out of town for a comfortable walk and in reach of endless restaurants etc. Great choices for breakfast, lovely pool and the Staff as always were delightful, we will return!

Not really much I can say here, this is a lovely place.

Good hotel with very friendly staff. We stayed at the hotel pre-and post of a one-week sailing trip around the island of Aegina; the staff was very helpful allowing us to leave our luggage at the hotel while we were sailing. Overall a nice stay, the 1000 meter walk to Aegina City was no problem for us. Break-fast was generous for a continental-style breakfast with fresh fruits and good coffee.

In an effort to reduce the carbon-food print I suggested to the reception to issue only one room-key; issuing two room-keys facilitated to keep the airconditioning running all day while not actually being present in the room.

It was our 4th visit to to Danae. We love everything here, nice location: 5 min to the beach, close to the city center, port. Nice area for walking. Good breakfast. Fantactis personal, clean and comfortable room. Pool area is very nice. Will definately visit again.

This is a full service hotel. The reception desk is manned day and night. There is a very good breakfast buffet with a large selection of food and beverages, and there is also a bar and a restaurant that serves snacks, lunch, and dinner. There is daily maid service. The beds are extremely comfortable and chair height, like American beds. The rooms are fully renovated, very clean, and a nice size. The pool area is attractive and has a pool bar. Every room is either poolside or has a balcony with a view. A lovely beach with amazing sea and mountain views is across the road and can be accessed by descending a cliffside stone stairway. From the hotel, it is an EU 5 taxi ride or a longer walkable distance to the city and port. We would stay at this hotel again.

There is no off-street parking.

Staff were all lovely. Our room was ready early and the man on reception carried our cases to our room. The view from our sea view room was gorgeous. The breakfast was very good and the view from the breakfast room was also lovely. Pool was not too deep so great for non confident swimmers and there were enough sun beds and umbrellas around the pool. The town is a kilometre from the hotel and is a beautiful walk, downhill on the way into town and slightly uphill on the return. Taxi is 5 euro. There is a snack bar that serves lunch and is open until 20.00 .

We have enjoyed our stay at Danae Hotel very much. Close to the center of Aegina, it is a really nice hotel, with confortable rooms that are clean and cozy. The beds are very confortable and big and our room also had a cute balcony. The breakfast is variated and tasty and we also ordered some food and drinks at the pool bar which were very good and affordable. The staff is always very helpful and nice and we shared a great communication with everyone. We hope we can come back because it is a nice and cozy hotel.

The hotel was exceptional. We had such a great time. The hotel is really close to the port, close to the sea, just cross the street and go down a few stairs. but in a peacefully environment. For us it was the perfect combination between relaxation, sun, sea, beautiful small taverns all around the port, good food, ease of access to the monasteries. The breakfast in the hotel was pretty good with pretty much everything: meat, dairy products, pastry, juices, tea, coffee, fruits. The pool really nice with cosy sunbeds. The personnel were friendly, they helped us with everything we asked them for. We loved it.
