Location is great, on the main beach of Skala and 2 minutes from the port. Very Clean . They help you if you need. Staff is very nice.

I think that for the hotel guests they shouldn’t charge money for the sun beds. The bath in the looks a little bit neglected.

This hotel is our all time favorite in the whole world and it is actually just difficult to describe all the reasons with the right words but the vibe here is extraordinary and all of the staff are so nice and helpful. First of all you have the friendly and comfortable athmosphere. The breakfast in the restaurant is really delicious and the restaurant offers really high quality food at relatively low price. Clean, extremely beautiful hotel and surroundings just wonderful right at beach and the seaside in Skala, Agistri where the sea is crystal clear. We really love the friendly atmosphere in Aktaion Botique hotel and not to forget theyr’e cute dog Luna and the Parrots Coco and Dodo who are also providing for a family friendly athmosphere. For us this is just like a little paradise away from home and we will absolutely be coming back (hopefully) every year.

Location was excellent, right near the beach and close to restaurants. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

The staff was fine, they didn't go out of their way to provide service.. It took them a while to come and fix things in the room - the maintenance of the hotel is not good. The beach services are not private for hotel guests and those who want to keep a beach chair and umbrella have to pay 5 euros every day. Beach towel for a fee of 2 euros. The family pool rooms are very noisy and full of mosquitos

Room was spacious and very nice. Perfect location Spa was amazing, the therapist was super friendly and professional. Room service was great and tasty

The hot tub was a bit too weak for our liking.

Greece is known for the warmth of its welcome but this is exceeded by the wonderful team that work in this medium sized hotel. They proved to me that it is not the depth of carpet pile that is important but the professional, caring and friendly way they treat guests. However, this hotel is also situated 50 metres from the ferry service at Skala port, and directly onto the sandy beach. It offers divine views across the sea to other islands and mainland with safe swimming waters. The restaurant offers a varied menu of high quality items. I had a swimming pool view room but this also enabled a view of the sea and the nearby traditional church. I can only praise this well located hotel for a peaceful getaway and look forward to returning when possible.

The sauna facilities were at an extra charge and normally only available as an extra to a spa treatment such as massage. The sauna is family sized. I would suggest a separation of these items. I’m used to free sauna and gym and paying extra for massage or spa facilities that require therapist involvement

The room was beautiful and the hot tub was lovely. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The location is great. Round the corner from the port but far enough away to not be bothered/notice the boats. The food and drinks in the restaurant was lovely and reasonably priced. The beach loungers and towels were free for hotel guests, which was handy. Lovely tvs in the room which you can cast to if you'd like a chill evening in. The bed was super comfy. The island is gorgeous, and there is lots to explore! The hotel is again near all the other restaurants and bars in the town, but I didn't hear much noise.

Two very minor points: Being very picky and British, I would've loved some English Breakfast Tea bags at breakfast/ in the room. I'm vegetarian and dont usually eat too much dairy/eggs. They had almond milk behind the bar for my coffee, which was great. Apart from that, there wasn't much for breakfast that wasn't meat/cheese/eggs. Even putting an alternative milk by the cereals would mean people could have that?

Prime location- right on the beach. Zina at reception was super nice. The room was quite smelly every time we walked in, so it was difficult. The beds are super hard, so I didn't sleep that well. There are newer rooms. Still, the room was super specious so we loved it! Also- don't book the massage at the Spa- we booked a 60 minutes session and it ended after 40 mins! Not worth the price.

The spa is not worth it. we booked a 60 mins session which started in the sauna and then ended early so at the end the massage was only 40 mins! The smell in the room was very difficult. The older rooms are just too stuffy. The beds were super hard for our taste.

Great place, wonderful staff, private beach and pool. Options for meals. Please note - you need to take the ferry that stops at skala. it is not mentioned on booking)

Due to the end of the season, many things were not operating, but it wasn't mentioned when booked (it would have influenced our call of even getting to the island) The spa was closed They started already shutting down the sea chairs at the beach they were lack of dessert There was no kayak or Horse riding options (by the way the horse ride isn't near the hotel and needs to be driven to 30 min).

We enjoyed a stay at the Aktaion Beach Hotel for 5 nights with 9 members of our family (covering 3 generations). The rooms were beautifully designed and well appointed. They were spotless when we arrived and were kept that way during our stay. We decided we would have dinner at the hotel restaurant on the first night and enjoyed excellent service from Altin. In fact the food and service were so good that we had most of our meals at the restaurant and were never disappointed. The hotel has many facilities to offer, but for us the real stand out was the excellent and friendly service. In particular, Zina and Altin made our stay one of the most enjoyable we have ever experienced. The whole family agree with this sentiment. We had a lovely holiday and were made to feel most welcome.
