The owner was very friendly and helpful. There was an issue with the room we originally booked (someone else didn't check out or whatever), but we got offered a different room instead. First a smaller one we didn't like, then a bigger one that was quite nice. The staff was great, location of the hotel was very near to the center, and the rooms were clean.

If you have heavy luggage, getting in/out might be tricky as the stairs are narrow and there's no elevator. Also, good to know is that Aegina is a small town and not the busiest island, during the weekdays not much happens there.

Outstanding stay at the Ulrika hotel. The hotel itself is very nice, my Aunt and I had rooms on the third floor. The rooms are spacious with small balconies and a lovely view of the sea. The hotel is located off of the main street, so it’s a bit quieter (a good thing) but is also conveniently located next to a path that allows you to walk into town in a few minutes – a few stairs are required for the path. But what really made the stay great was the Kalamakis family who runs it – we had extremely positive experiences with all members of the family. The Dad (Salvatore) is warm and friendly, he helped us acquire a car when most of local rental places were closed. He also reviewed a map of the island and gave us tips on where to go. When we first arrived I was dragging our suitcases up the street and his son Erik literally came running out onto the street to take them from us, and then deliver them to our rooms (his ability to manage luggage on a scooter is impressive). Erik’s brother Yannis was equally kind, we had a fun conversation about his gardening, and he jumped into to help get the car properly returned. I’ve traveled around the world and this is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with the owners of a hotel. They clearly take a lot of pride in their place, and their card says, “Greek hospitality at its best.” In this case, that’s truth in advertising, the Kalamakis family was so warm, friendly and helpful, they made the stay so much fun. I hope to return someday, mainly just to say hello.

Pretty much nothing - it was all good!

We had the most fantastic time. The owners and all the poeple working at the Ulrika hotel were super friendly and welcomed us very warmly. What ever we needed, they could help. The hotel is very central and clean. The rooms simple and comfortable. We had a room with a nice view on the sea and could enjoy from there the beautiful sunsets. Our sons had a room on the garden side and enjoid the view on a beautiful tree. We strongly recommend this fantastic location. Dear Kalamakis family, thank you for everything!

I didn't have any breakfast included. The location is great, just a few minutes from the bus stop and ferries along the coast of Aegina Town. The host was very nice--you will need to check into a nearby hotel first, so make sure you read all your booking.com emails. The bed was very comfortable and both shampoo, towels, and a hair dryer is included.

The only thing I didn't like is that the AC was very loud. It seemed like one of those older ACs, and I needed to shut it off in the middle of the night due to the noise. Everything else was fine--the shower had quite good temperature.

Near the beach. Amongst the locals. Close to the tourist part of town. Close to the shops. Close to harbour. All within walking distance. Magnificent town.

Can't complain

The most wonderful welcome that I've ever had from Eric, he was friendly and attentive, and we proceeded to our lovely room in Ulrika hotel. A simple yet spacious room, with the most powerful fridge. Only 50m from the sea. On our final day we spoke with Yannis who let us gaciously leave our luggage at the hotel until we departed to Athens. We met the grandfather in the morning, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Most fantastic stay.

The welcome was amazing. We have arrived later than expected. Regardless, Eric was there to meet and greet us. We felt welcomed. The room was exactly what we'd seen on the website but somehow better. Clean and tidy, the aircon working perfectly :). Got a 1000 towels each day alongside the room being cleaned, sheets changed and so on. Great location too, 1 minute away from the beach, 2/3 min away from the most amazing tavernas ( the discount we got was appreciated, also the Greek coffee was simply amazing ), 5 mins away from the port and maybe 10 mins from all the shops. We can't image a better place to spend the holiday. It had everything we wanted and more. Thank you for making us feel at home.

It was amazing! The owner was so friendly, he even upgrated our room, so we were staying in a bigger and nicer apartament. The owner and his family were very kind. They helped us carry things to the apartment and offered us a bottle of water. The rooms were also cleaned every day. I think this was one of the nicest and friendliest hotels. I strongly recommend this accommodation, as it has a nice view and is in the center of the city and close to the port.

Sufficiently large room with balcony, older but functional equipment suitable for shorter stays on the island of Aegina. The biggest advantage is its location, close to the port and the city center. We would definitely stay here again next time. And what is completely unique about this accommodation are its owners. We met 3 members of the family (a father and two sons who are nonstop at the reception) and they are all super cute and helpful with anything! Thank you and hopefully see you soon <3

staff and location is best. near the beach and some good restaurants. If you'll stay 1-2 nights and you want to walk around all day, if you just need somewhere to sleep, it's a good place.

air conditioner is not good , room is damp and when we arrive there is a bug in our room. (little spider) Moreover, they did not allow us to enter at the promised time.
