We loved Hotel Theoxenia! Stephania was lovely and surprised us with a beautiful gift of wine and rose petals for our honeymoon. Pastries, tea and (American-style) coffee every morning. Big room, nice balcony. Another review said water didn't get hot enough - not true!!! You have to wait a moment for it to warm up but then it has a full range of cold to normal to actually scalding, perfect for people like me who like to shower on the surface of the sun. Argos is a great place to stay to explore the region and the town itself is cute and has plenty of restaurants, bars etc as well as a few interesting historical sites.

The bathroom was a bit odd for us as it was painted instead of tiled. Other than that, all good.

This hotel offers clean and nicely executed up to date decor in the center of a normal Greek town. This is not tourist accommodations...so real Greek culture. The shower was not separate from the bathroom (no shower stall) so required some ingenuity...but you got the hang of it! The tile work as well as the contemporary painting of the room was first rate. It showed that they really cared! Morning pastries with coffee much appreciated.

Best value accomodation in the area! cheap and cheerful. I was very pleased. Staff were very nice. This is a cheaper hotel and for one night it suited me and my 2 kids just fine. I would stay again . lots of cafe and shops around.

Parking is a bit of a mess in the area. you may have to search for parking. its a bit busy in a good way.

We stayed just one night. Very kind staff, allowed us to check in early. We had a balcony to relax on. With our clean towels they give you slippers. Coffee, cookies, water provided in the lobby a nice touch. Shower was good. Clean room and bathroom. A note about parking, you have to find street parking.

The mattress was a bit springy, not the most comfortable.

Very clean, and it seems that the rooms have recently been remodeled. The staff works very hard and changes the linens daily. There is also a small breakfast bar available in the morning! We were very happy to be there and to have such a nice location. The bathroom is a small wet room, but it is cleaned so well that it really makes no problem.

The hotel is located close to the center. You can find super market near by and kiosks (that they are open 24h). There are also few good options for lunch/dinner near by the hotel

The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom. It was too small and the shower was inconvenient

Hotel with a most friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious, equipped with anything we could need (especially a fridge) and spotlessly clean. We wanted to start our tour of Greece with Mycenae. Argos proved to be a perfect base (just 11 km from the archaeological site - easily accessible with one of the many local taxis for a very affordable price). The town of Argos itself offers great views of the eastern Peloponnese from its spectacular Larissa castle.

The hotel is located in the center of Argos. There are no problems to park your car nearby. Simple room but very clean and equipped with everything you need. Only the bathroom was a bit small. In general excellent value for money. The owner is a really nice woman, very helpful and attentive to the needs of the customer.

The position of the hotel was good. There was a large spread of things to choose from during breakfast.

When we arived the qne way street was temporarily converted to a two wastreet due to the temporary closure of the uppur one way. We had to park outside of town which caused a flat tyre which had to be replaced with a new tyre. This however was not the fault of the hotel.

Location was A1, very close walking distance to all local sights - Acropolis, restaurants, metro, etc.

Was a little bit noisy in the evenings due to being near a 24/7 McDonalds so the delivery scooters were always coming and going.
