My stay at the Acropolian Spirit was great. Restaurant and breakfast area is a real gem! Georgia’s ability in managing my requests was epic. Extra credits to Alexia and the girls at the breakfast.

The rooftop restaurant was wonderful. The breakfast was spectacular. The location was terrific. The bathroom was modern and clean, the beds were comfortable.

I booked a 2 room suite. Unfortunately the second room didn't have a window. This made adjusting to the new time zone almost impossible since we couldn't tell when it was daylight! There is a lightwell in the room, but the light never shuts off, and the screen that covers it doesn't block it out completely. Unfortunately I got very claustrophobic. But thankfully there's a lovely, outdoor covered courtyard on the ground floor, and a rooftop restaurant with lots of light on the top floor. Next time - no suite for me!

Great location! Small but very clean pretty room. Rooftop breakfast buffet and staff were great!

Was told at the hotel that we could check in a little early but then kept adding 15 minutes to our wait every 15 minutes. Went on for about an hour this way. Also, told we could store our luggage when room not ready in their luggage closet. Only no room for them, no locks so anyone could walk out with your luggage and no one watching the closet. Anyone could walk in to the closet and no one would notice. I noticed this as I waited in the lobby for the hour before I could check in.

Staff & location were great. The key sights and the Plaka area were within easy walking distance. Excellent views of the acropolis day & night from the restaurant/bar

Our initial room didn't have a window that opened to the outside (just opened slightly into a ventilation duct), however the staff were great and we were moved into a room with a proper opening window when room became available at no extra cost. As we were staying in March the air conditioning cooling wasn't available, we found the room temperature of the first room at 25C too high

The room was quite nice. We had a balcony looking directly up at the Acropolis, just as in the picture. The hotel is located on an extremely busy street, so the balcony was quite noisy but we enjoyed it anyway. With the balcony door closed, the traffic noise was very tolerable. The bed was great and everything was very clean. Breakfast was good, with a bit of variety every day. The coffee was not very good, just instant coffee from a machine. The view from the restaurant was wonderful, directly across at the Acropolis. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but then we didn't have any problems that needed to be resolved.

The first impression when we arrived at the hotel was not very good, since the entrance is directly behind a bus stop and not very welcoming, and there are empty or near-empty buildings on both sides. It was necessary to cross a very busy three-lane street to get just about anywhere, and the street has almost nothing but car rental offices for several blocks. So the hotel's surroundings left a bit to be desired. But otherwise it is very close to the Plaka (tourist) district and the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum, so well-situated.

The property is very good, nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable, the noise is not bad as everybody said, you can hear a bit the cars from outside, but the location is not on a crowded street. The location is very near to the Acropolis, around 5 minutes to Acropoli’s Museum and 7 minutes to Acropolis, 15 minutes to Syntagma square. The location has a supermarket 50 m away. The room doesn’t have a view to acropolis, but the restaurant yes. The breakfast is more than enough. I would recommend it.

The door for the bathroom is not so private, but is not a big issue

The room was very nice and large. The breakfast had a great variety of items to choose from. The rooftop restaurant was really cool because it has a perfect view of the Acropolis/Parthenon. The locate of the hotel is close to the City Center and makes it easy to get to everything.

There really was not anything that I could criticize the hotel about. The only thing that I was surprised/disappointed at was the amount of graffiti all around the city. It gives Athens a dingy, dirty look and feel.

Overall feel of the hotel enhanced our experience on our Athens trip. The view from our room was fantastic. We loved our room!! The restaurant was very good, along with great views of the Acropolis. The breakfast in the restaurant exceeded our expectations and the breakfast staff were very cordial. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, walking to everything that we had planned for our trip. Also the aroma therapy used in the hotel as we walked in the doors set the stage for a lovely visit. We would definitely stay there again!!!

The breakfast buffet,which is included, was plentiful and delicious. View of the Acropolis from breakfast area was amazing! There were 2 elevators to get to upper floors. The air conditioning worked great in our rooms and we were in Athens during the 100 degree heat wave. The beds were very comfortable, the bedding was beautiful, and the pillows were excellent! The waitress at breakfast was very friendly—especially to all 8 of our grandchildren! We appreciated her kindness. The hotel is only a few blocks from the Acropolis Museum and the Acropolis’s entrance. Also, the Plaka district is very close

The views are so spectacular and breathtaking. I was lucky to get a complementary upgrade and had a fantastic view of the Parthenon. The room was great, lovely big bed and it has a marble bathroom. All in good condition and clean. Bed was a little harder than I like but was still comfy enough. Aircon was a blessing though it would be good to have a loose sheet on the bed as it was too hot with the duvet and too cold without! View is magical from the restaurant and the dumplings filled with cheese were delicious - huge portions though! Lovely freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning for breakfast. The location of this hotel is fantastic as everywhere is very walkable! Felt safe walking back from Hadrian's gate late at night as it was still a busy area (we had a sunset tour that dropped us off late) otherwise I wouldn't normally walk around myself after dark. I would definitely stay here again
