The rooftop bar and restaurant was spectacular in the evening. Late night dinner and fine wine, with great service was a wonderful way to end a long day, open late which was very convenient. Although the rooms may be slightly dated they were clean and comfortable and the location cannot be beat. We loved being close to the busy busy parts of the city but not directly in them. The subway system was convenient and there are plenty of delicious places to eat near the hotel. We virtually walked everywhere from the hotel.

The location is prime for tourist . All major attractions are near by . The room we booked was bright and had a spectacular view of the Temple of Zeus . The bell boys were friendly and kind .

The property charged us 8 euros for a bottle of water from the mini bar .. exotic The mini bar didn’t have a kettle for hot water for tea or coffee - basic if the hotel is rated 5 star The housekeeping had to be reminded to clean the room and the tooth paste wasn’t provided earlier . The fine dining restaurant has limited menu and no meat options are given .

Perfect hotel location in the middle of the humming city centre. The large "old school" rooms are perfect for a city trip visit and a magnificent dining area is definitely a big plus for this hotel. Staff was very helpful and always friendly.

The diner & breakfast served is good, but could be just a bid better as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. I also would strongly suggest a different music playlist, but that just a personal taste I guess.

The location is fantastic. Walking distance to everything and so handy to have a pool to cool off in on the hot Athens afternoons. The rooftop view is stunning and the breakfasts were on the roof were great. It was also nice to be able to open the window in the room to get some fresh air.

It would have been nice if the pool was open for longer hours. 11-7 seems quite limited given the heat. It was disappointing also to have 2 single beds pushed together when we had requested a double bed. More hanging space for wet things would be useful as would more hangers and an iron.

I really liked the room. We had the king size with acropolis view and terrace. The location was perfect. Breakfast was good.

The staff were not very friendly, especially at check in. There was a creepy lifeguard who swam with the guests which is not typical. He was not "lifeguarding" in any way. Maybe he was just there to give guests towels. The pool hours were reduced (11-7). I would have liked the pool to be open and available to swim in the early morning hours so that I could swim laps before it got crowded. The dinner menu was not great so we ate elsewhere. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

After reading some of the reviews we weren't sure what to expect, but the hotel was perfect. We had two rooms side by side and my Mum stayed in one with my 3.5 year old little boy and we stayed in the other with our 1 year old baby girl. We stayed in the Athenian Panorama Room which had a view over the Temple of Zeus. The rooms were huge, clean and comfortable. We were able to request a cot for our baby, had plenty of room to store luggage and the room could be blacked out during her nap time. We ordered room service quite a few times as the food was delicious and the staff were friendly at breakfast and by the pool. The location of the hotel is also great. A 5 minute stroll to the Palaka and foot of the Acropolis. We could jump on the city sightseeing buses a few blocks from the hotel and it was easy to grab a taxi outside. Very very happy with the hotel and will be staying again next time we visit Athens.

Nothing. Honestly, the room we chose was perfect, clean & comfortable. Happy with the food, location and service. I know reviews i had previously read spoke of internal rooms with no windows - which our rooms were opposite - and when i peaked inside they were dark. But I wouldn't book to stay in an internal room with no windows!

Love the location, love the facilities and the ambience of the hotel. Most of the staff was a very nice and accommodating to us and was greatly appreciated.

The only problem I had with the hotel was a major problem though, and that is the bed. I kept falling in between the two twin mattresses, and only when I was checking out, found out that I needed to ask to have them connected together. I personally feel that that is a question and be asked upfront and then if it’s made up in a king size fashion, then it should only be asked if they need to be separated Not attached together.

Wonderful breakfast, incredible view, beautiful building. It is absolutely stunning to be in the upstairs restaurant looking up at the Acropolis. We were surprised and delighted that our two rooms were adjacent with an internal connecting door. Hotel felt very safe and clean.

Some basics were missing in the rooms, such as sufficient space to unpack (we had a large armoire, but no empty shelves or drawers), outlets near the bed. One of out two rooms wasn't what we expected- we thought we were getting three proper and separate twin beds, but instead the room had a king bed made of two twins and a portable cot. Lots of street noise even with closed windows.
