Terrace was fantastic and view spectacular, but room needed modernisation, like draws in side boxes, change sliding door to just standard doors so you can use the wardrobe and kitchen at the same time, maybe add the b-day toilet seat to bathroom in consideration of not flushing toilet roll do the loo, room was only cleaned once when we were there and it was bare minimum

Lack of cleanliness in room, no shade on terrace, very bright room at night, breakfast had no labels so unsure what somethings were, shower needs a none slip mat

The hotel is very centrally located in Athens, which is a major advantage for exploring the city. It's within walking distance of several important landmarks, including the Acropolis, the acropolis museum, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Plaka and the Panthenaic Stadium (Kallimarmaro). The hotel staff was very responsive and friendly. their kindness were much appreciated and made a real difference to our overall experience.

However, the location also has its downsides: being right at the intersection of two major roads, the sound insulation was poor. Traffic noise and honking could be clearly heard. One night, the air condition unit stopped working completely, making the room extremely hot and uncomfortable. We were also disturbed by loud noise from a neighbouring room, which went on throughout the night. Unfortunately, these issues made our stay less restful than we had hoped, despite the excellent location.

Loved the location , walking distance from the main attractions and close to metro station. It's nice, cosy, modern hotel with comfy beds and nice bathroom. Little kitchenette in the room ( whith all the amenities, coffe machine and even pots and pans were there) was a huge plus. Decent breakfast. Oh need to say this, hotel staff, super welcoming and very friendly.

Yes it was next to busy street but I had room on 3rd floor and it wasn't that noisy as people may say. The bigger challenge was crossing the street in front of the hotel :)

The property was immaculate and exceeded all our expectations. It was our first family holiday, and the hotel made it unforgettable by upgrading our room to accommodate our baby perfectly. The facilities were exceptional, especially the well maintained jacuzzi and spa, which were a highlight of our stay. Everything was spotless and inviting, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived. The location was unbeatable, with everything we needed just a short walk away. Our experience in Athens was truly amazing. The room was very nice and spacious and there were excellent snacks and coffee capsules and drinks in the fridge that we could use... I want to thank the staff who were so helpful and so nice during our stay... The breakfast buffet is of a very high standard it is not huge but what is there is of a very high quality... Nice omelette with vegetables and mushrooms and yogurt and fresh fruit and everything was of the highest quality it was a very very nice breakfast... And excellent coffee... We also had the option to use the sauna and steam room downstairs not that we did because we used our time to go out in the center but this was a very welcome surprise for us.

The staff were just amazing. Every single team member welcomed us warmly and chatted with us each time we passed. The staff members were so helpful and gave us loads of places that they recommended for food and drinks etc. The hotel was very modern and well maintained. We had a lovely room that had a private hot tub which was fabulous. Rooms were spotlessly clean and well presented. The hotel location was ideal for us as it was a 10/15 minute walk to the centre.

The staff was absolutely lovely and incredibly accommodating, the room was big and clean, the breakfast delicious and the location super convenient. The spa is small but functional, and although it's right by the street you can barely hear the traffic. Incredible value for the price the room has. I was a solo woman travelling and I felt very safe in there (even the surrounding area felt good to walk in after dark: lots of people around, a stone's throw from the Acropolis!)

Honestly, nothing was what I would consider bad. I guess I wish they had a proper changing room in the spa, but it's such an inconsequential thing!

First the location is perfect to visit the sights throughout Athens. Located near the Acropolis Metro Station (10 minute walk) and one stop from the central station for all of Athens. Within walking distance of the Acropolis itself. Second the Hotel Staff were so amazing! They found out it was my wife’s birthday and brought her balloons, candy and a bottle of Red Wine. They were so sweet. Thank you ladies! Third the hotel is beautiful and the fifth floor has an excellent view of the acropolis as well. Also, the breakfast staff presented a perfectly balanced meal choice each day for our enjoyment. Thank you for that. My wife chose to have a massage during our stay that was perfect for her as well.

One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The variety of delicious options offered every morning was impressive—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect way to start the day. Whether you prefer something light or a more hearty meal, there was something for everyone, and it was all prepared to perfection. The staff were equally wonderful—always nice, attentive, and ready to assist with anything I needed. Their friendly approach made me feel right at home. Overall, I highly recommend Newel Acropolis for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service and a prime location.

The design is not for tall people

We stayed only for one night celebrating our anniversary on the top-floor suite with huge terrace and jacuzzi. It was everything we could ask for. The terrace is a dream for anyone visiting or staying in Athens. The view of the Acropolis while relaxing in the hot bubbling water is amazing. We would like to thank the staff that was so helpful and kind. They provided a bottle of wine, bottle cooler and candles for our celebration. The room is comfortable, modern with full facilities. Must visit🥂. P.S The location might seem a bit busy but there was not noise in the top floor and we walked to the historical centre in just 6 minutes
