Amazing hotel and staff. It is a hidden gem in my opinion. I think you guys should apreciate more the guy that works at the reception, he is so calm and always so nice 👏 we have traveled in many places around the world and I can say that he was the nicest receptionist we have encountered. Daily room service. Amazing pool. AC working too well, we got our room chilled in few minutes. The location perfect, you could easily walk to afythos city center in minutes. To our pleasant surprise, we were treated to complimentary drinks, a thoughtful gesture that added an extra touch of hospitality to our already outstanding experience. Furthermore, the rooms themselves were generously spacious, creating a sense of openness, while the abundant natural light that streamed through the windows further enhanced the inviting ambiance.

The stuff is super attentive, kind and patient with the guests. All of the rooms have a pool view. Everything about the front yard with the pool is perfect for a relaxing stay: the cleanliness of the pool and beds, the pool itself is cleaned every night, the staff will serve food and drinks by the pool. The closeness of the pool to the room is a great feature too (literally 10 feet distance). Air conditioning is perfect, the room and bathroom are spacious enough, the whole interior design is well thought through. The breakfast option is worth every penny. Snack bar is a bit on the expensive side, but the portions are sizeable. The whole pool area has a peaceful energy, and is very secluded, even though the road is close to the hotel. We lost our key card for a couple of days and weren’t charged for a new one, so kudos for not overcharging guests on such miscellaneous items.

The distance to the city center is a 10min walk, but not a big deal, there are restaurants nearby and a parking spot is almost always available so you can use your car regularly.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! It’s located in a very convenient spot—less than a 10-minute walk from the town center—yet tucked away from the noise, offering a peaceful atmosphere. At the same time, it's close to a main road that provides easy access to some of the best beaches in the area. I stayed in a room with a terrace, which was a lovely addition—especially in the afternoon when it was shaded and perfect for enjoying the view and relaxing. The pool and parking area are well thought out and perfectly match the capacity of the hotel. The room itself was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained—kudos to the housekeeping staff! Despite being a 3-star hotel, we found slippers, high-quality toiletries (including a great hair conditioner), dental kits (toothbrush and toothpaste), a makeup removal set, and even a nail file. The coffee, tea, honey, and bottled mineral water were restocked daily. Everyone at the reception and those responsible for breakfast were incredibly kind and welcoming too, which made our experience even more pleasant. Speaking of breakfast—it was very good. There was a variety of options, including fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy choices, and some sweet treats for the soul. Every day we found hot options like eggs, bacon, sausages, pastries, and different types of savory pies. Overall, this is the perfect place to relax and enjoy all the wonderful things Greece has to offer. Highly recommended!

The staff was very friendly and willing to help for recommendations. It was very easy to find. Very close to the main road. It was spacious. We didn't use the pool but it looked very nice from above and it was cleaned daily. I saw that while we went for a smoke on the balcony. Nice walk to Afythos, around 5 min. The cleaning lady was super friendly and funny, I loved her. I would absolutley go again! :)

The open shower with the toilet. I think this is a greek thing. It reminds me of the good old time when I was younger but very uncomfortable when the whole bathroom is wet. There was at least a cleaning thing.

Very nice hotel and service. People are fabulous. The hotel is very clean and I call it a 3 superstar hotel. I think it deserves more. Afitos is a very nice place to visit.

The internet is always a little issue in Greece but we managed our way about it. As for the beaches, they are not the best in Greece but I say OK. My advice is to plan in advance or avoid peak of the season. I have no remarks about the hotel whatsoever.

Good location for people traveling by car, just around the corner from the local road that connect all the beaches. This way you avoid going to center of town where mobility for cars are restricted and very hard to find a parking spot. Breakfast was very diverse and full of fresh bakes, jams, cheeses, yougurt, very nice. The pool gives a nice touch, but the water was very cold still (May).

The only thing to complain is the shower. Very poor water pressure, takes a while to remove the soap of your body. Sometimes it seems that the water will really stop flowing just to get a notion of the magnitude. After a day of beach, salty water, sunscreen, it was really annoying. We also heard other guests complaining about.

This hotel and the staff is absolutely stunning! One of the best hotels we have been to! The room is spacious, very clean and we felt so comfortable. The breakfast offered a lot of different options. Parking spaces directly at the hotel and the pool area was amazing. The staff brought us also free water to the pool. The walk into the center of Afytos is only 7 minutes. We totally recommend this hotel to everyone staying in Kassandra!

Nothing really. Only the bed is a bit small (1,40 m) which is typical for Greece and just a personal thing.

Me and my friends booked this hotel for a spur-of-the-moment short vacation in mid-July and honestly, it was the best decision we have made! Every single aspect of the hotel was spot on, from the hotel pool to the breakfast buffet, but what made this stay excellent was the staff of the hotel who were available 24/7 to assist and make your stay there as convenient as they could - kudos to Kostas and Jenny for being the kindest. What I would also highlight is the food that is available for you to order at the hotel besides the breakfast, there was a great variety in the menu and it was truly delicious - this also applies to the cocktails 🤗

This hotel is fantastic. Immaculately clean and well kept. The best part about this hotel is the staff, they go over and above with everything to ensure your stay is as great as possible. From the lady and gentleman at reception to the 3 waitresses and to the cleaners. All were fantastic and make a great team. They made our trip most enjoyable and often went over and above. The pool area is quiet and relaxing, the food on offer is plentiful and very reasonable. We will definitely be back to stay here. One of the best!! See you again soon.

I liked everything about the hotel. Non hotel related - there is no footpath on the walk down to Afytos centre and can be quite busy with traffic.

Our stay at Verano Afytos Hotel was fantastic! The standout feature is undoubtedly the staff—they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Their attention to detail and willingness to help at every turn made our trip even more enjoyable. The breakfast was another highlight. The variety of options was impressive, and the pastries from a local store were simply delicious. The pool area was well-maintained, and the staff even brought around ice-cold water during the hottest part of the day, which was a thoughtful touch. The rooms were spotless and well-managed, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. The hotel itself has a laidback and relaxing vibe, perfect for those who prefer a more peaceful environment without the noise and chaos of large groups or parties. It's an ideal spot for unwinding. In terms of location, the closest beach is about a 15-minute walk away. If you're looking for even nicer beaches, you'll need a car, but it's worth the drive.

The only minor drawback was the lack of a shower cover, which made the bathroom a bit wet after a shower. However, they do provide a tool to scrape the water away, which helps manage the situation.
