Amazing hotel and staff. It is a hidden gem in my opinion. I think you guys should apreciate more the guy that works at the reception, he is so calm and always so nice 👏 we have traveled in many places around the world and I can say that he was the nicest receptionist we have encountered. Daily room service. Amazing pool. AC working too well, we got our room chilled in few minutes. The location perfect, you could easily walk to afythos city center in minutes. To our pleasant surprise, we were treated to complimentary drinks, a thoughtful gesture that added an extra touch of hospitality to our already outstanding experience. Furthermore, the rooms themselves were generously spacious, creating a sense of openness, while the abundant natural light that streamed through the windows further enhanced the inviting ambiance.

The staff was very friendly and willing to help for recommendations. It was very easy to find. Very close to the main road. It was spacious. We didn't use the pool but it looked very nice from above and it was cleaned daily. I saw that while we went for a smoke on the balcony. Nice walk to Afythos, around 5 min. The cleaning lady was super friendly and funny, I loved her. I would absolutley go again! :)

The open shower with the toilet. I think this is a greek thing. It reminds me of the good old time when I was younger but very uncomfortable when the whole bathroom is wet. There was at least a cleaning thing.

Good location for people traveling by car, just around the corner from the local road that connect all the beaches. This way you avoid going to center of town where mobility for cars are restricted and very hard to find a parking spot. Breakfast was very diverse and full of fresh bakes, jams, cheeses, yougurt, very nice. The pool gives a nice touch, but the water was very cold still (May).

The only thing to complain is the shower. Very poor water pressure, takes a while to remove the soap of your body. Sometimes it seems that the water will really stop flowing just to get a notion of the magnitude. After a day of beach, salty water, sunscreen, it was really annoying. We also heard other guests complaining about.

Me and my friends booked this hotel for a spur-of-the-moment short vacation in mid-July and honestly, it was the best decision we have made! Every single aspect of the hotel was spot on, from the hotel pool to the breakfast buffet, but what made this stay excellent was the staff of the hotel who were available 24/7 to assist and make your stay there as convenient as they could - kudos to Kostas and Jenny for being the kindest. What I would also highlight is the food that is available for you to order at the hotel besides the breakfast, there was a great variety in the menu and it was truly delicious - this also applies to the cocktails 🤗

This hotel is fantastic. Immaculately clean and well kept. The best part about this hotel is the staff, they go over and above with everything to ensure your stay is as great as possible. From the lady and gentleman at reception to the 3 waitresses and to the cleaners. All were fantastic and make a great team. They made our trip most enjoyable and often went over and above. The pool area is quiet and relaxing, the food on offer is plentiful and very reasonable. We will definitely be back to stay here. One of the best!! See you again soon.

I liked everything about the hotel. Non hotel related - there is no footpath on the walk down to Afytos centre and can be quite busy with traffic.

Our stay at Verano Afytos Hotel was fantastic! The standout feature is undoubtedly the staff—they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Their attention to detail and willingness to help at every turn made our trip even more enjoyable. The breakfast was another highlight. The variety of options was impressive, and the pastries from a local store were simply delicious. The pool area was well-maintained, and the staff even brought around ice-cold water during the hottest part of the day, which was a thoughtful touch. The rooms were spotless and well-managed, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. The hotel itself has a laidback and relaxing vibe, perfect for those who prefer a more peaceful environment without the noise and chaos of large groups or parties. It's an ideal spot for unwinding. In terms of location, the closest beach is about a 15-minute walk away. If you're looking for even nicer beaches, you'll need a car, but it's worth the drive.

The only minor drawback was the lack of a shower cover, which made the bathroom a bit wet after a shower. However, they do provide a tool to scrape the water away, which helps manage the situation.

The hotel, while a bit far from the beach (15-20 minutes walk up / downhill), is excellent. I do have to say that you are a short walk away from the center of Afytos and all the taverns you could want, so I cannot say that the location is bad, just not close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful, everyone from the cleaning ladies to the reception team. The food at the restaurant, while not so varied, was prepared with care and a lot of flavour. The pool is extremely well kept and the service is great. The cold free water is a much appreciated bonus, especially in the hot August days, when we stayed. I cannot express how surprised we were with the quality of service here. I would definitely recommend it and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Verano is the place to be in Afytos! The position is great, max 10 minutes walk to the main square, shops and restaurants. Has a nice pool and quite enough parkings available. The staff of Verano is exceptional, here to mention Kostas and Anna along with the girls serving around, not to forget the Chef cooking the delicious breakfast with so many options and other dishes, to the ladies keeping the rooms clean, all of them with a generous smile. Everything is very clean, the service is great, kids friendly hotel , pool well maintained as well, we spend couple of days just hanging around by the pool. In one sentence, I would say that at Verano, we found the maximum level of Greek hospitality properly demonstrated. Thanks to all Verano staff for making our vacation great!

10/10 I had an absolutely wonderful stay at VERANO HOTEL , From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and attentive, making me feel right at home. The location is perfect, offering easy access to local attractions while still providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The service throughout my stay was impeccable every detail was thoughtfully considered, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They truly go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience. Food was great and so delicious. Overall, my experience at Verano was exceptional, and I can confidently say it's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. I can't wait to return 🤩😄

Nice hotel in general, even if the hotel was full in high season the pool wasn't crowded (even tho could be bigger), there was no kids around, nice breakfast, kind staff. Location is ok.

They coudn't deliver my ask about room location that was made couple months ago (within same price range), the hotel is located next to loud (or even very loud) street. I woke up few times during every night becuase of the loud motorcyles. We were during high season. The electronics in room was low quality. Staff could do better with english. Half of the rooms doesn't have lights at the tarrace (they turn it off around 23:00 at every room, but part of the rooms have extra ones that you could use). Your own drinks aren't allowed outside the room. The nearby town - Afytos is nice, but OVERCROWDED. Overall it's a nice hotel, not 10/10 or even 9/10 but still good. Worth staying? Depends of the offers i guess.
