We stayed at the hotel from July 22 to July 29. We got an older room with a cosmetic renovation. The hairdryer was broken, but it was immediately replaced for us. Towels and bed linen were changed twice during our 7-night stay, which was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I would have preferred to have shower gel in the bathroom instead of a bar of soap, which is difficult to lather on the body. The balcony door did not close properly, probably because the doors are old, and I hope that a modern renovation will be done on this floor in the near future as well.

Staff are super helpful and friendly. Excursion travels were right outside of the hotel - lovely man there who is great and gives honest advice. 3 very helpful and knowledgeable staff at the hotel that are always happy to help. They have beach towels spare for you to use. The AC in the room can be useful if the heat is too much. Balcony is nice. Fridge / kettle are very useful. It's definitely a budget hotel but very welcoming and located on the strip with about a 5 minute walk to Benitses town and a 1 minute walk to the beach for Sunrise.

To be honest - the bathroom is on the small side - however very clean. The walls are quite thin and you can SOMETIMES hear noises from other rooms if they are being really loud.

The location was great, the staff were really friendly and helpful. I left my purse in the room after I'd checked out the cleaner found it so Daniel from the hotel rang me I was in a taxi just arriving at the airport Daniel offered to bring it to the airport for me and was there within half an hour. That was definitely above and beyond not many hotel staff would do that for a customer. Would highly recommend it.

I really like that they have something different from other accommodations… Was very impressed and have to say to them “Well done guys! This is how you make the customers feeling welcomed as in their home. They have a little shelf with stuff which in my opinion you need in a holiday for example: entertaiment toys ( ball, snorkeling glasses ), shaving cream, sun protection, even a lighter for the smokers. Shelf named “take what you want with a smiley face” like this you can feel you are really welcomed! Please as well, if you don t need anymore some products, stuff just leave it there for other people needs. I did that as well: left a body shower cream, kids protection spf. That s a brilliant ideea

Great place with a great location. The room was cleaned up every day, with a daily change of towels and sheets. The view was exceptional and the hotel is less than 50 meters away from the beach. My special appreciation goes to Daniel, the manager of the hotel. He helped us with all of the questions and things we needed since it was our first time in Corfu. We made so many memories there and definitely will come back one day!

It was our first time in Corfu and we loved the fact that Avra is so close to the capital, everything is well connected. You can take a bus just in front of the hotel and go wherever you want. Avra is also close to the centre of Benitses so there are planty of restaurants you can visit and it's a nice walk around. The room had everything we needed for our stay plus a small balcony. The beach restaurant has great food and nice staff. If you want to spend your time in Benitses only the beach is just across the street. However, we can't say we loved the beach. It can't be compared with the beaches on the west side of the island so we recommend exploring. There are a couple of places where you can rent a car or a motorbike and that's what we did and we recommend a motorbike because a lot of the nice beaches around are difficult to drive to with a car due to the narrow roads. The best thing in Avra: the staff! Also in Avra is super affordable. We recommend Avra because you will get everything that's written on their booking post plus a very worm welcome. Thank you

We didn't really like the beach across the street. It can't be compared to any other beach that we visited and we can say that Benitses doesn't really have a nice beach around. However, if you want to stay in Benitses for a day at the beach the Avra bar is still the best place to be because it has nice sunbeds that are free if you order anything in the restaurant. We spent only our first day on the beach in Benitses.

The location is perfect, in the centre of Benitses, close to the local bus stop and also the green bus stop. Shops, supermarket and restaurants nearby. Daniel at the reception is very kind, always smiling and he gives you tips and helps you with your requests. If there are problems he soon acts to fix everything. He shows he cares. The beach is just few hundred metres far from the hotel and it's a quiet and peaceful place. The rooms are essential but with all the basic things. Air conditioning works so good and saves you from the heat. Towels were changed frequently. On the balcony there are chairs and a small table and also a usefull drying rack. I had a great stay that met my expectations and went also beyond.

Good hotel, has everything what is needed, but not a luxury type. Clean, calm, quiet (you cannot hear the traffic on the main road, but you can hear your neighbours, walls are thin). Staff is extremly helpful (my flight had an 6 hour delay, but they organized me a taxi at 2 am anyway). Bus stop, shops, restaurants are close, area is safe. The hotel has a restaurant and a private beach which is really safe if you travel alone, and want somebody to watch your stuff.

The hotel is located right by the bus stop, across from the beach. There are plenty of restaurants around. The staff is amazing - Daniel was very helpful, he was very attentive and friendly. The rooms are spacious, there are also balconies. We loved our stay and we’ll definitely be back next time. Thank you for having us!

It was a simple, clean room equipped with AC and all the basic necessities which was helpful. Daniel at the accommodation, Tomas at the restaurant were also very kind and welcoming. Avra Taverna(restaurant) is located accross the street and has a pebble peach in front of it. It is mostly filled with pebbles, rocks, ocean vegetation so to fully enjoy it i would recommend bringing swimming shoes. For the best beach experience i would recommend Marathias Beach which is a golden sand beach with blue flag award. You can take the bus B1 from Corfu town green bus station to Kavos and ask them to drop you at Marathias station and then walk 25 minutes to the beach. Alternatively you can rent a car, motorcycle and get to the beach in 25 minutes. Food, cocktails, mocktails at the restaurant were also amazing. I plan to go back to Corfu this year and food, drinnks, marathias beach will be the main reasons.
