It's a perfect place with everything, the whole homemade breakfast was great. The location of the hotel, the attention of the employees, everything is great. It was very nice that they informed about everything from the reservation until they left the hotel. The surprise they made for my husband’s birthday and the gifts they gave when they left were very nice. Everything was very good, there is nothing negative.

From arrival to leaving nothing but positive throughout. Arrived and greeted with a bottle of water each and cold wet towels to cool off. Were shown two rooms of which we could choose one. Next morning lovely breakfast, good choice, which changes everyday with fresh homemade food/cakes, staff very friendly and keen for you to try all, leave some room. Reception staff more than happy to discuss plans and suggestions for the day and will assist in booking of transport or where to go to get the best deal. Despite only being a 2 star hotel, the owner is bringing big hotel chain facilities to her hotel. All rooms have a safe, fridge, hair dryer, aircon, and bed linen is changed regularly, as it always was under 'old' Greek hospitality. The main plus point for me, however, as a sufferer from mozzy bites, was the mosquito netting on all windows and the patio door - thank you! The breakfasts are similarly splendid with many options, from yoghurt and fresh fruit, cooked meats, eggs various and tea/coffee, etc. Without a doubt the hotel's other standout feature is its staff, who are mainly students working for the season, and coming from all parts of Europe, it was a joy to be looked after by them all, as well as the regular hotel staff. The hotel is well situated for the beach, and any amount of bars and restaurants nearby. A short walk, 10 mins, gets one into the centre of town, where there are even more restaurants - fresh fish! - and bars, and the main beach which has shower and changing facilities - beach is gravel with clear water for snorkelling and swimming. You can hire paddleboards, boats, water-skiing, etc. Benitses is on the way back up after being an 18-30 destination back in the 1980s, and is now a family friendly resort, which I recommend to anyone looking for a safe resort with friendly and helpful people.

The bathroom in the hotel had a Greek style shower, and I would prefer a real shower, but I appreciate eco concerns regarding use of water, and it didn't overly upset me. In the resort itself, they need a pavement from our part of town all the way into the centre. There is pavement most of the way but where the back of the beach has been built on, there is none, so you need to take care of traffic at this point. The other minus point from me, is that you can get a green or a blue bus (No. 6) into town, and then change to go to the airport, but it takes a while, so we took a taxi which was 40 Euros, which is over the top IMHO. Someone needs to run a bus from South Corfu direct to the airport, parakalo!?

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was truly exceptional with a good variety of dishes including local Corfiot options. We were given a free upgrade to a larger room when we arrived which we greatly appreciated. Staff were friendly, professional and helpful. They offered excellent suggestions on activities, buses and local food places. They also booked our taxi for our return trip to the airport. Definitely would stay here again!

We were truly impressed by the owner/manageress and her staff, and were particularly grateful for being able to check in much earlier than the designated check-in time because we were going to a Conference which started in the early afternoon on the day of our arrival and we wanted to settle in and prepare ourselves. In addition, we were given the unexpected gift of free breakfast for the two days of our stay. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable. It was really a treat to see completely fresh bread - just delivered - and my husband was delighted to have scrambled eggs made with real eggs, which is quite unusual nowadays! The room was fairly small but comfortable with a balcony, a pleasant bathroom with everything in good working order, and a small kitchenette, which we appreciated. During our stay, it was peaceful there and we slept well. The sea was only a couple of minutes' walk away and there were shops and all kinds of places to eat and drink more or less on our doorstep. In keeping with an old Greek tradition, we were given little gifts on our departure to remember our stay by. We can say without reservation that we would have liked to have stayed longer. We won't forget the warmth and kindness we received and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

It's not easy to find anything to say here. For us, it would have been nice to have had bedside lights because the other lights were very bright. The small garden space outside the part of the studio block we were in needs a little care and attention - but these did not really affect us much.

The service was outstanding- arrival to departure, a pure delight! As we got to the reception, we were welcomed with a fresh towel and a glass of cold water - very much needed in a hot day, at 4PM! Very nice staff, always smiling and helpful. All kind and young. Hotel very well located, 2 steps away from the beach, and close to any amenities you could imagine.

No negative note. We would probably visit the place again.

We had a lovely four day stay at the Bella Vista. Had a room with a nice balcony with an ocean view. Everything was nice and clean. Whilst basic everything we needed. Sleep quality was good with nice firm mattress and no noise. Breakfast was really really good. With a wide variety of different freshly made foods every morning. Tea & coffee is available throughout the day. Staff were very nice, they all appeared to be students studying in the field of hospitality and were attentive and helpful. This is a well run family business that is well located. Very close to the beach and restaurants. My wife and I would have no hesitation in recommending the Bella Vista

Of course have to complain about something. Whilst the shower was good, came with the ubiquitous postage stamp sized shower stall so common throughout Greece So difficult not to to get water everywhere.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and offered a great variety each morning – from fresh fruits and pastries to warm dishes, there was something for everyone. The quality of the food really stood out. What made the experience even better was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. They were always ready to help with a smile and made sure everything was perfect during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a fantastic start to the day with their breakfasts!
