Good acoomodation,very good restaurant (Veranda) ,friendly staff

Before my flight i called the hotel to have a tranfer. The most 5 Star hotel i have visited offer u free transportation .They informed me about the cost of 45.I accepted it because i didnt know if is easy to book a taxi.The ride took 7 minutes!After that i booked my tranfers only with Taxi.10-15 euros max!The way back i booked a taxi and paid 15 euros.I felt fooled.

We loved Everything it was beautiful

The girl at breakfast (who took Room numbers) was a bit rude with what I wore and it was a bikini with a skirt and a top over it. She looked me up and down, made me feel so uncomfortable also she said it Infront of other families which was embarrassing.

We stayed in a bungalow with shared pool which was very comfortable for the 4 of us. Breakfast is excellent with a very good selection of cold and hot food. Our room was very clean and the beds very comfortable.

Before we were able to check in we hoped to use the pool and gardens however for the size of the hotel there are not enough sun loungers available and people were reserving them from 8am

Breakfast had great variety, the personnel were helpful and friendly, the sea view of the hotel was awesome.

I had two different reservations due to the billing requirements of my company and although I mentioned this at the check-in, I was asked to change rooms for my second reservation (which was only for a night). The new room was exactly the same as my previous one. I find it super odd that in a five-star hotel during the off-season with several rooms available, it can't be arranged to stay in a single room...

The hotel is literally a stunning palace and perfect for a luxury mini break. On arrival I was very impressed with the grand entrance and help from concierge who carried my suitcase to my room. I booked a bungalow with private sharing pool and it was exceptional. The welcome goodies and added extras were a nice touch. With sliding door straight out to the private pool with a view of the sea and mouse island, it was luxurious. Breakfast buffet was outstanding, huge selection of food. Dinner buffet was also reasonably priced. Cleaning staff were very friendly and went over and above to help. The private taxi service is very reliable and reassuringly safe.

The hotel staff could’ve been a little more friendly and approachable. I’ve marked down a score for this and I encountered 2 large insects in the bungalow which unsettled me. The main pool is salt water which some may enjoy but we were glad to have the private sharing pool to escape the salt water. The lift to the beach is questionable but direct access to the beachfront was brilliant and once in the lift it wasn’t as nerving as it looks. I did notice the hotel and grounds weren’t very accessibly friendly as my child has mild mobility issues. There were no available loungers at the main pool area so I was glad of the bungalow to relax.

It was my third time at your hotel. There are plenty of areas suitable for families, and the atmosphere is wonderfully peaceful. I will definitely come again — I really like the environment. It’s very close to the center, only 7 minutes by car. The rooms on the ground floor, where the shared pool is located, have a damp smell, so I won’t book those again. I have stayed twice in the villas, which are more beautiful, but it’s difficult to book them on Booking.com. Even though the hotel is old, I still like it a lot.

I didn’t like that the cleaning was not done every day, the beach towel organization was poor, and this time the service at the restaurant was not good.

Amazing area to stay, on the beach, pool was lovely, real nice hotel with great history. A plane spotters dream if thats what your into. The bungalow garden view room is huge with 2 bathrooms also. The room had some issues and really could do with modernizing but done us just fine for 3 nights. Breakfast buffet in the main hotel had everything to choose from including champayne. Couples massage was really nice and had a lovely lady on the desk in the spa area who was very helpfull. Towels changed every day and the guy that done the rooms was really nice and friendly. The views are unreal looking out over mouse island and the monestary. Late check out was €100 if you wish but the hotel has showers and a place for your luggage and you can still use the facilities which was great. Lastly id like to appreciate the lady who checks in on the guests throughout the day around the hotel, she really made us feel welcome and if we had any issues that she could help us with. I believe having a people person like this in the hotel really helped. I would give this hotel a 4 to 4.5 star. If the rooms were modernized and done up then it would be 5 star. That said we had a lovely stay.

I loved the dining experiences, the room, the view, the balcony, the staff, the beech. Everyone we met had said that they had been coming to the hotel for years. One guest had said have you stayed before and I had said it was my first time at this hotel they replied by this is their 12th time. They had a teenager and an early twenties daughter and they were talking about booking for 2026. This will be our first choice stay for 2026 as well loved it..

We could have definitely benefitted with an additional shower we had a grand suite. I wasn't prepared for just having 1.5 bathrooms we needed two bathrooms for a two bedroom suite.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding — especially the older gentleman working at the bar, who truly was the life of the party. The hotel is perfectly located right by the beach, with convenient elevator access. Just next to the hotel, there’s a fantastic restaurant and a bus stop that takes you straight to the Old Town for only €1.20. We’re already planning to come back next year!

There were quite a few insects and leaves from the trees in our private pool. It’s a pity the pool wasn’t cleaned daily, but it didn’t really bother us — especially with the beach and another pool just a few steps away.

Amenities, location and the foods , the staff

There was a power shortage on the 10th of August , there was no information or even a short call or notice from the reception . I was wondering what happened and unfortunately my son was sick at the moment , it was scorching hot and the power shortage lasted like almost 2. 1/2 hours . I went outside to ask somebody , I asked one of the housekeeping staff and he told me that the reception called him and said it would take like 20 minutes and the power supply would be back. It wasn’t . I was disappointed.
