The location is excellent. A short walk into the old town and the hotel has a wonderful view of the bay. The swimming pool is clean and has sea water in it. The garden surrounding the pool is beautfiul and well cared for and there is plenty of shade. The supply of towels for sun loungers is kept full and there is a staff member who regularly patrols the loungers to straighten those that are no longer in use, remove old towels and generally keep everything looking tidy. There is a lovely bar in the garden, with plenty of shade, where you can have drinks, snacks or even a meal. There is a table tennis table and a floor based chess board. The staff are amazingly courteous, attentive and deliver excellent service. The staff spoke good english to me, I don't know how many other languages they speak. The staff couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The quality of the food is very good. We always had plenty of choice of things to eat at breakfast and the 2 dinners we had at the hotel were of excellent quality. The A/C was kept on in our bedroom, despite taking the key card out and the electricity cutting out, which was lovely so that when we did return to our room, it was lovely and cool. There were plenty of good quality bathroom accessories and the room and bathroom was cleaned very well each day. We would definitely return to this delightful hotel.

There was nothing we didn't like.

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights (couple plus one year’s old daughter) and it was really great. Let’s begin with the service, all of the stuff are really kind and trying to make your vacation comfortable as much as they can. The one who was extremely kind was Thomas from the breakfast staff who was always care about us and tried to help us. The breakfast is continental but there’s enough choices (eggs, at least 4 or more kinds of bread), in my opinion, there is a place to add more kinds of vegetables and cream cheeses. In addition to the service, the hotel is not new designed but saved and the facilities are working well (I will say that the hotel is even designed in a vintage way so it’s really nice). I will say that some of the extras that we ordered from the bar and from the room service is quite expensive (for example 19€ for simple pasta or 3€ for a small bottle of water) but I think that it’s related to the fact that it’s hotel prices for your convenience. The pool is great, there are comfortable sun beds around the pool, and the water is very similar to the sea water (salty). The rooms are very large, and there is space to all of your staff. The location of the hotel keeps you close enough to restaurants in the old town that you can go by 10 minutes of walk. About the price per night, I think it’s a bit expensive but still worth it, don’t expect to have luxury stay but a very good one.

Good choice of breakfast and location was within walking distance to the town with views of the beautiful port. Staff were all lovely, especially the pool girls and waiters. We also got a complimentary hand massage and face mask treatment. We like that we were able to switch our half board dinner reservations to lunch time if we wanted to eat out later that night.

Menu could be a bit broader, as the options at dinner are the same every night other than Thursday nights (BBQ). None of the food was labelled with allergens, therefore I had to ask about what was in the food every time I ate it. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Wasn’t a fan of the shower curtain either.

Location was good, just a short walk into the town. Great view overlooking the sea from our balcony. The room was a reasonable size and air conditioned. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty to choose from. The staff were all very, very good. The seawater swimming pool was great and the complimentary towels for use around the pool is a great touch. The hotel was very clean and the room cleaners did an exceptional job.

The room was a little bit 'tired' and could do with a makeover. The wardrobes seemed very cheap and the bathroom suite was very old. Our toilet did not flush very well. Noise transmission between floors can be a little annoying.

Amazing hotel with breathtaking view. We had a seaview room which was comfortable and clean with luxurious extras. The saltwater pool was well maintained and spotless and so welcome in the heat. The staff were always helpful and polite and when I asked for a kettle in the room they provided one with a huge basket of tea and coffee. Breakfast was lovely with plentiful and fresh produce. Almost spoilt for choice. Even processco! We enjoyed the bar area and drinks by the pool and ate in the restaurant once which was a buffet meal evening with band which was great. Good location and easy to get to town. Highly recommended and we hope to return one day. Thank you.

Amazing. When I backpacked thru Greece for a month in college from Germany, I stayed in cheap places and looked longingly on opulent hotels with beachfront views. Now, 38 years later, I was able to return to Greece and the Corfu Palace Hotel was a high point of our trip. The location is amazing, w/ panoramic views of the Bay, Corfu Strait, the Albanian mountains, and the Old Fortress. The views are spectacular from the breakfast room, pool, and each room with a private balcony! Plus, the hotel is an easy walk from the Old Fortress and Old City and countless restaurants and shops. The breakfasts were delicious, with a combo of Greek and western dishes. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive, and Thomas in the breakfast room was our favorite! The rooms were spacious and the ambiance amazing!

1. Our sons asked, with my suggestion, at the front desk to rent motor scooters. They were charged 150 Euros I think for 4 days, but I later heard that is FAR higher than the fair market price. So, check around. 2. The pool isn't heated, so the water was too cold for us, in mid-May.

We’ve stayed many times over the years and always found it to be a very special place to stay. The location is perfect, close to the town centre and the sea. The pool and the adjoining bar make it unique in this area. The staff are all very professional and welcoming.

Nothing. It’s due to close in early October for refurbishing. Whilst undoubtedly necessary, I hope they don’t change its essential character. These big 5 * chains have a style that is indistinguishable across countries and, whilst luxurious, are sole less. When at the Corfu Palace you know exactly where you are.

Incredible location with gorgeous views of the bay, delicious breakfast with lots of variety and the coffee was great, lovely pool amenities to spend an afternoon at, spa services were fantastic, and of course the attentive and hospitable staff who do everything they can to make your stay comfortable.

The AC unit in the room was noisy and difficult to modulate. The bathroom is in need of minor repairs (mirror rot, yellowing grout and tiles in places) and the mattress topper was a bit too soft, my husband and I woke up with aches each morning.

We were upgraded to ground floor suite (massive) with garden access and sun loungers which was great! Fantastic views onto Corfu Fort and Bay. Well stocked mini bar. The salt water pool is very large and loved the garden setting and pool bar. Breakfast staff and buffet selection top notch , fresh omelets on offer. Fresh squeezed Orange juice machine great. Restaurant terrace in evening lovely and live music. Very close to walk through old town.

Interior decor and furniture are very dated and worn. Carpets could do with replacing.

The staff couldn’t do enough for you - from reception to the pool bar - everyone was so friendly and helpful The pool and pool area were incredible- the temperature was in the high 30’s and we were in the pool more than we were out of it - There were multiple Sun loungers and always a waitress on hand to serve a beer or cold water

The rooms were dated - the bathroom definitely needed modernization- and in general the hotel felt like it could use a revamp but it made absolutely no difference to our experience and the overall feeling was positive
