The hotel has a traditional style from inside which I really like. There was a beautiful view from the balcony to the old fortress and the sea. The staff in the restaurant, the ladies in the massage section and the cleaning staff are all very nice and helpful. Mon Repos Estate (former summer palace of Greek royal family) I could reach in 5-10 minutes by foot. Dinner was included in my reservation but for those who don’t add it to the booking, there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby.

The staff at the reception is ignorant. They are answering questions with 1 word only without a smile and they don’t even look at you. They are only nice with people from UK and Germany which is not acceptable in my opinion. Guests from not rich countries should be treated on the same way. The reception staff would need a training in communication urgently.

Near the airport but no noise from planes. Good location in a residential area, so not too touristy, easy access to the town either by regular bus (€2/person) or lovely 20 minute walk. Close to the sea with views from every bedroom veranda. Good €20 evening buffet including a glass of wine. Friendly staff.

No plug for my bath, which I was looking forward to! We stayed for two nights before travelling to Paxos. Had we been staying longer, the pool would have been a bit disappointing as it was small and located between the hotel and the road.

absolutely lovely breakfast and sitting overlooking the sea. the pool is small but most visitors are not here for that so it doesn’t get crowded. the beds were huge and comfortable. great location. good walk to the town, just what i love after a heavy meal and all along the sea. and access to the sea right over the road. No beach as such but if you want a beach you don’t choose to stay in Corfu town.

we were given 2 pods a day for the coffee machine in the room. it wasn’t that easy to get more. there were coffee and tea sachets to make a normal drink but no kettle so the only way is to pour hot water several times through the machine to get a hot tea. also no milk only coffee cream. didn’t ask though to be fair. the shower could have been more powerful just a head on a stick. ceiling waterfall would have been nicer. none of this would stop me returning however.

The hotel is in an excellent location. There is a very pleasant walk into the town centre along the sea front. Our room was large and well-appointed. We also had a balcony which i wasn't expecting. The bar and restaurant staff staff were very friendly and pleasant. There was an excellent selection of food at breakfast and the dining room was light and airy. There was also an option to dine outside on the terrace with beautiful views.

Our balcony was always in the shade. Our bathroom needed refurbishment. It was functional and clean but dated.

Mon Repos Palace has done a really good job incorporating the modern amenities we have come to expect into a classic old building. It is lovely and the team offers a high level of service. They are dedicated workers and some of them appear to be there 24/7. The location is great because you are just on the outskirts of town and have wonderful views along with a more relaxed ambiance. It is a about a 30 minute walk to the old fortress and a little further to the far end of Corfu town. There are also buses but it is a scenic, pedestrian-friendly, mostly flat walk. Many restaurants and a couple of corner stores (one with fresh bakery items) are an easy stroll away along with the archaeological museum. The entrance to Mon Repos Park (side note - it is not open 24hr day) is a bit of a trek on the streets shared with traffic but worth visiting. Multiple ancient churches and ruins are scattered right around the hotel. The breakfast buffet is amazing. It is akin to something from a cruise ship. Many delicious options and such high class service. You feel like royalty. (Started at 7a with the hot foods starting at 7:30.) Dining or sitting outside on the porch with the view is so nice. There is a full bar and they have singers in the evening. There is a relaxing and inviting atmosphere throughout the public areas. They also offer a dinner buffet. It was just as nicely done as the breakfast but we found the food uninteresting compared to other options in the area. It was a good option for a rainy night. Tip: Arrive for meals at first opening during rain or be prepared to wait awhile. In May parking was doable - if you can parallel park well. We had to circle once or twice at times. In high season I'd predict major parking issues. (FYI: The rental car company told us that parking along the water side of the street is short term only - not for overnight.) 20E cost for the transfer between the ferry terminal and hotel.

The bed is strikingly hard. Firm doesn't begin to describe it. I took the bedspread and folded it multiple times to sleep on top of in order to shield my joints. It then felt like laying on a slightly padded table. That being said, once I drifted off, I slept better than normal every night so maybe they are on to something. The tub sides are very high and dangerous for getting in and out of after a shower even for tall and fully ambulatory people. It was also narrower than normal but that can't be avoided given space constraints. Corfu itself - nothing to do with the hotel - is plastered with so much grafitti. I was really taken aback by it on the initial cab ride to the hotel.

Lovely staff, great location for airport and walk to Corfu town. Breakfast is fabulous. Buffet tea is worth the money too

The hotel is tired. Bathrooms are dated. Whenever it was last painted it wasn't done particularly well...splashes on the doors, paint on the skirting. No kettle...and the coffee machine does not heat the water to a high enough temperature for a good cup of tea. Walls are thin. Double glazed french doors had a gap underneath them so not soundproof. The fruit juices at breakfast aren't fresh ...concentrated and not particularly nice.

Fantastic location in Corfu city very close to old city. Excellent staff very friendly especially Costas dinning room manager exceptional customer service and also Efi who served us diligently. Parking is a bit tricky but as we had a small car we managed as it’s very narrow streets in Corfu. The breakfast is simply bliss wonderful variety of options excellent salads and sweets simply delicious. Dinner is just too good and as we were hotel guests we only paid 20€ per person for absolutely delicious meal with a glass of red or white wine. The only cons of this hotel was the bathrooms very old and water pressure very low especially for hot water that’s leaves u with a little sour taste. Every evening there is some artist performance singing or instrumental so one can just sit back and relax and rewind after a day full of amazing beaches. We will definitely visit again.

Location, staff, breakfast and dinner

Nice room with lovely sea view.Breakfast was excellent , the evening buffet great value & we were given fresh towels every day. All staff were extremely welcoming & helpful & receiving unexpected cake & fizz to celebrate a special occasion was a very kind & thoughtful touch.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Our shower could have been better..Although the water was hot, it stopped running briefly on two mornings- possibly due to the number of guests showering at the same time .Unfortunately the shower head could only be raised to a limited height & the absence of a solid screen meant water escaped under the shower curtain. Although we had an amazing sea view, our balcony appeared smaller & narrower than normal.This restricted movement, especially when the extendable clothes rack was in use.

Staff very friendly the reception staff were so helpful the waitressess were all so cheerful and nothing was to much trouble the breakfast buffet was great lots of choices good juices bread cooked stuff pastries good coffee the evening buffet was good lots of choices two nights never the same food. The cleaners worked hard cleaned my room well and always said hello.bar staff always cheerful.I was here for 3 nights and stayed for an xtra 4 nights and upgrded to deluxe sea view worth every penny .A great stay ,thanks will be back in September.

Please turn plate warmers on for every service.Please retile bathroom and decorate its looking a bit tired.

We booked a double sea view room, while the rooms are very nice and beds are comfortable, the bathrooms could do with an upgrade. We had a view of the sea and fortress which was really nice but slightly obscured by an apartment complex. The hotel overall is very nice and has a certain charm that can't be explained. It also has a small swimming pool and lounging area for guests to relax. We had a fantastic lunch in the hotel on the day we arrived, really good menu, food and choice. The hotel staff are really nice and pay a lot of attention to detail. The hotel has an excellent location for visiting Corfu town with buses available just outside, the hotel has no car park so finding parking outside can be difficult.

The bathrooms are a bit outdated with the shower head on the wall in the bathtub. Getting in and out of the shower could be difficult for older guests. Although the lunch was excellent, the evening buffet dinner was not good at all. Choice was limited and food was very very salty
