Loved the staff, the decor, the service, the food. Nice big bedroom and bathroom! Great a/c! Beautiful lighting everywhere in the hotel. The kitchen accommodated our early departure by making a takeaway breakfast for us! Lovely Al fresco dining area.

Bed was a little hard and there were no blackout curtains. A lot of light was coming in around the door. Impossible to blacken the room. That was the only negative.

This small hotel is a delight , The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has the most wonderful rear garden courtyard where you have breakfast, which again is first class. The night we stayed there was live jazz being played whilst dinner was served . Thoroughly recommend this hotel it’s about 15 min walk in to the heart of Corfu town

Liked everything about this place

From the moment we walked in we were treated special . All staff was amazing and so friendly . The breakfast in the beautiful garden room exceeded my expectations with a menu having amazing eggs Benedict and I had the lox and egggs the second day . The room was beautiful with an amazing large bathroom and high ceilings throughout. The hotel set us up with a private driver that had a collection of classic cars and took us around the island in an original VW beetle . The location was amazing, walking distance to the old fortress , prince Phillippe palace and okd town. We had visited a lot of the Greek islands but this was the most lush, safe island . We loved every moment and intend to return soon.

My wife and I were in Corfu almost 3 weeks and spent the first 4 nights in an apartment in the middle of the old town. Then we traveled around the island for a couple of weeks and on our return, we needed one night near the airport after turning the rental car in. So, we were only in this beautiful boutique hotel one night. It is a top-end and extremely nice hotel and property of exceptional quality and service - definitely 5-Star level quality of rooms, service and the building, but small and very quiet. Also, a lovely garden seating area and great breakfast. The location is interesting and really quite good. It is basically on the water near the airport and when you walk out to the promenade along the water, you are staring across to the old fortress - about a 500 meter walk into the heart of old Corfu, but still in the old town and in a beautiful area with a park and great restaurants that the locals flock to because it is slightly away from the absolute pedestrian center of the old town. The on-site managers are extremely professional and the hotel bar in the beautiful entry living area is impressive. This must have been an old stone 19th Century wealthy family mansion. Grat boutique hotel. Highly recommended. Last thing - there is a taxi drop-off at the door, so you don't have to drag your bags through the cobbled streets like anywhere else in the old town. If you have a rental car, there is a much higher chance of parking it near there, and still a very beautiful short walk along the water to the heart of the pedestrian-only zone.

There was nothing not to like

Great location, 10-15 stroll to old town to the left, and same to the right down to the old windmill and Mon Repos Palace / Park where Prince Philip was born. Plentiful bars and restaurants en route both ways. The location also allowed for free on street parking for our hire car too, so another bonus. The hotel itself was fantastically restored from derelict back in 2020 we understand, and has been really nicely done out both inside and out. Rooms are modern and air conditioned, with great walk in showers and quality soaps and shampoos etc provided. There is a small bar to serve drinks in the front of the hotel, with a nice seating area out fronto too. The real gem is the coverered garden courtyard out the back though, where fantastic breakfasts are prepared and servied in front of you. All staff were amazing, and very helpful.

We spent about two weeks on Corfu island and stayed in various accommodations reaching from "insider tip" to five star hotel but the Acanthus blue was our all time favourite! The entire place looks freshly renovated and is extremely well maintained. The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. The breakfast was delicious and in the evening the bartender even prepared individual cocktails for us. The location of the hotel is just perfect if you want to explore corfu city on foot.

Our stay at the Acanthus Blue was exceptional in all respects. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, genuinely interested in their guests and nothing was too much bother which was such a big plus for our overall experience. The hotel’s location was perfect, in a quiet neighbourhood only 15 minutes walk from Corfu Old Town. The decor of the hotel, including the garden, was an absolute delight, understated yet exquisite-simply beautiful. The breakfasts at Acanthus Blue were unquestionably the best we have had anywhere. Lovely Alexandra’s cheese pie and unique banana bread(probably the most delicious thing I have ever tasted, served freshly baked in addition to a very good menu) alone would be reason to revisit this beautiful hotel!

We loved everything!

This is the most incredible hotel in Corfu town. Everything from property design, to rooms, to staff, to breakfast was amazing! We stayed here after we got married with couple of friends whilst in Corfu - the staff really made it a special experience and we will certainly be back! The breakfast was generous and an experience in itself. The rooms were spacious, new, tasteful and comfortable. The hotel is 15 mins walk from Corfu old town, and the walk is down the marina for all the boat and start gazing in the evening, whilst in the day time it provides seclusion from a very busy old town. We will definitely be back, my only regret is that we didn’t book out the whole hotel for a week because it honestly made our time in Corfu so special!

I had the pleasure of visiting Acanthus Blue in early October, and the weather was still amazing. The hotel's location is great, with everything I wanted to explore conveniently within walking distance. Vibrant local attractions, charming cafes, and the "local" beach were all just a stroll away. The breakfast menu offered an impressive array of choices, with fresh and delicious options catering to every palate. What truly sets Acanthus Blue apart is its incredible staff. From the moment I stepped through the door, the warmth and hospitality of the team made me feel like I was among friends. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, making my stay feel like a home away from home. In conclusion, Acanthus Blue exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for a place with a fantastic location for walking everywhere, delightful dining, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the hotel for you. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

The breakfast was absolutely outstanding. Made to order in the open kitchen, by the private chef; Alexandra, breakfast was a delightful experience each day. Served by Chris, who was attentive and welcoming, we enjoyed delicious pastries, fresh fruit, greek yoghurt, homemade granola, and eggs cooked however you chose, plus delicious homemade cheese pie or spinach pie! Some mornings we spent 1.5 hrs enjoying the whole experience and chatting with Alexandra and Chris. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed, filled with bespoke pieces of artwork and furniture, flowers and plants. In particular the outdoor dining area was peaceful and tranquil. The rooms are spacious and luxurious (we had the pleasure of staying in room 7 & room 8). The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were well appointed and spacious. The best thing about this hotel is that it doesn't feel like a hotel. With only 8 rooms, it feels like a home from home, more like a guesthouse (albeit a very luxurious one!) where you felt like a well looked after member of the family. The other big plus is the location - in the most beautiful part of town, still within walking distance to the centre, on the water and a moment from the lovely waterside park and tavernas. We can't wait to go back!

There was nothing we didn't like, but it's worth noting that there is no lift and as it is in town, bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise at night.
