Great hotel with brand new facilities. We love everything about the hotel and the area. Great location in a very small town. There are few taverns and also nice supermarket where you can buy everything for a good price. Overall we loved it , we would recommend it.
The pool was not heated and the breakfast repeats the same everyday. Such a luxury hotel should have a better breakfast options and they need to add some food/snacks into their bar/beach menu. You have to go to their overpriced restaurant for lunch or dinner otherwise hotel doesn’t offer any other option. Gym is ok but super small.

All rooms are in Vila’s style. For us was 1 on ground floor with swimming pool and big room, big bathroom room with 2 sinks, another room with sofa bed (already was made a bed for us) with another complete bathroom for my 3 kids. For us, parents our room was on top, with outside access separate stairs, these are double room and big bathroom… quiet to sleep well , all new and nicely finish as all the hotel. Beach is great because you are just 1 min walking, direct access to the hotel beach with a big and nice private place with umbrellas and beds for only hotel guests with no problem to find 5 beds for us at any time. The Beach bar is a big and wonderful area, very elegant but comfortable, exceptional service with very diverse and good food / prices for lunch. Also drinks and wine options are excellent…as it’s working as the bar in the evening as well, till midnight… lovely place to enjoy at the sea after dinner as well. Swiming pool is really nice, next to the beach. There is also, the only restaurant for dinner that it was not as good as the beach one, in price-quality relation, but still good quality food. Is a hotel with high standards, taking care of all details, service, comfort, style, food, drinks, towels, etc…
Check out is at 11hs and they need to start mentioning this when you make the check in. Also on the top room a lot of light is coming through in the morning from the bathroom window and there are no doors or curtains. Otherwise this is the Best option! Unfortunately we decided to split the holiday in 2 hotels and after this great hotel we were soooo disappointed if the new hotel: NEVER GO TO AGNSANA HOTEL is on a hill, far from the beach, with a bad shuttle system that you have to wait to go and come back, only 1 Van for a huge hotel every 15 min …. Overvalued hotel with very bad and tiny beach place, poorly made (broken umbrellas), towels on a hides dirty spot, with bad food and expensive for no quality. Ex: Salads are €21 (€5 more than the olivar) and half portion with poor products.

Great hotel, we booked the junior suite with private pool. We had the room close to reception and it was really quiet and private. Private beach, comfy sunbeds, good breakfast overall a relaxing stay.
We didn’t like that the hotel allowed the guest to just throw their towels on the sunbeds and leave so when you arrive at the beach most of the sunbeds where occupaied by towels and not by guests. Sometimes they didn’t even bother to come, and the sunbeds where empty all day. Plus the beach is not just for the hotel guests, you can book a sunbed at €30. The prices are a bit too much on some items and not justifed like Greek salad at €17 or cocktails at €20. As a chef I suggest to revise your menu and make it a bit more attractive, as we notice that most of the guests where eating lunch at the nearby tavernas, which is a shame.

Amazing service, everyone was so polite and attentive, location at wonderful beach in a little village so many place to eat if you like. We enjoyed hotel restaurant as the prices were very competitive and the quality superior to the nearby places. Room service is super fast
Only one thing is prices in minibar - 9€ for a little chocolate or cola is the biggest we’ve ever seen and a bit disappointing. There’s a local shop 5 minutes walk from the hotel but sometimes you just want to relax. Also as the hotel is in the village you can hear some music till 11pm, but soundproofing is quite good in general and it’s not a big deal

- the private beach was amazing, very clean, with really comfortable sunbeds - the pool was very clean and very large in size, no matter how many people were in the pool, you always had space to swim/play - the rooms where very very clean - the breakfast, even if it wasn’t very varied, it had really tasty options made with bio and local products, and a very healthy feel
- no way to dry the beach clothes - the property being on the beach, is really close to the beach clubs, and until 23 there was loud music, but never after that hour

We loved this property so much we stayed an extra five days. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Olivar Suites is something extraordinary. Nestled in a fragrant olive grove, it beautifully merges modern luxury with the timeless serenity of Corfu’s landscape. 🌿 Surrounded by Olive Trees The resort feels like a well-kept secret amid centuries-old olive trees. Strolling through the groves, listening to the wind in the leaves — it’s pure magic. 🏗️ Visionary Ownership Under the guidance of Babis Voulgaris, the owner, every detail reflects deep care: eco-conscious design, preservation of local heritage, and a true sense of place. The resort doesn’t just sit on the land — it belongs to it. 🏊 30m Infinity Pool The pool is show-stopping — long, elegant, and perfect for laps or lounging. Framed by sunbeds shaded by native trees, it’s a calm oasis. 🥐 Breakfast of Delights Each morning, the buffet overflows with sublime Greek delicacies: fresh local cheeses, honeys, yoghurts, olives, pastries. Everything tasted deeply regional and thoughtfully curated. 👏 Staff Who Shine From check-in to housekeeping, the team consistently went above and beyond — offering WhatsApp concierge in real time, arranging beach club transfers, and remembering our names and preferences. Warmth was everywhere. 💪 Excellent Gym & Spa The gym is sleek and well-equipped — ideal for a quick workout in hot summertime. 🏖️ Relaxed Beach Club Experience Their beach club is refreshingly chill — friendly staff, and gorgeous sea views made it a perfect daytime retreat far from crowds.Nowhere near the main road that ruins many five-star corfu properties! 🛏️ Outstanding All-Suite Comfort Our suite was spacious, elegantly minimal, and deeply restful. Local olive-wood furnishings, soft linens, a beautiful bathroom, and a private pool and generous storage, and in many rooms, two bathrooms and WCs which makes for a very lovely romantic stay.
Nothing!

The Olivar is absolutely sensational. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the modern architectural interpretation of the soul of the original olive estate. The entire property is infused with integrity — a deep respect for the history of the land is evident in every detail, from the preserved stone buildings to the blooming gardens surrounding every suite. This is SO rare. What sets Olivar apart is its exceptional staff. Every team member we encountered — from reception to the beach club — was kind, super efficient, professional and genuinely expressing the Corfu philoxenia. Housekeeping was impeccable, with an attention to detail that made the suites feel serene, pristine, and deeply restful. Every day, another little touch in the room - the way a night dress is folded and the Frederic Malle toiletries. The food was a true highlight, way beyond the standards of usual hotels – salt baked sea bass, steamed grouper, local lamb, hints of fresh oregano, bergamot, homemade rice puddings and freshly potted greek yoghurt dancing on your palate. Every meal at the restaurant was fresh, seasonal, and beautifully local. The beach club is one of the best we’ve experienced - brilliant mixologists: refined yet relaxed, with comfortable lounges to watch the ionian sea from, crystal-clear water, shady umbrellas you can move as the sun moves across the sky and a calm atmosphere that encourages you to simply be renewed by the sea and sun. The 30 metre pool, with its grand pine tree to the side, is beside the original mill owners beautiful house - the facade retained, with a dedication to low-rise luxury unllike all the other "5-star" hotels in the area. As for the rooms - perfect memory foam mattresses, whisper quiet climate control! This is a place for those who appreciate slow, quiet luxury. No flash, no noise — just considered design, heartfelt service, and the gift of stillness.
nothing!

This is our 4th visit so we obviously love it. Food, location, the room, and the wonderful staff, all great. We stayed in a premier suite with our own plunge pool, it's one of the pricier options but so worth it. You feel like you have your own private villa within a hotel complex. Also we really appreciate that the private beach is so near to the rooms, you don't have to pack everything for the day. The sea is wonderful for swimmers, very calm and shallow until quite far out. (It is a pebbly beach near the shoreline so maybe bring surf shoes..) Every member of staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the service is exceptional.
Only a couple of observations-the pillows were not very comfortable, it would help to have one thick one and one thinner one for side sleepers. And the hotel is a little pricey. I understand it is a luxury hotel and it has not stopped us returning 4 times. It might be a nice idea to offer some kind of loyalty discount to returning customers? Also some of the rooms near the main road I know get disturbed by the very loud music from some of the local bars. Having said all that, we will still return next year! I would say if you are a light sleeper, just check your room is not too near the music.

The Hotel is simply amazing... perfect combination between nature, new and old traditional architecture. Simply fantastic from every point of view. The staff is also extremely friendly and really make you feel welcomed. I must say some little nice details really made a difference for me. We were welcomed with wet cooling towels and some local orange shots, later on served water with ice for free on the beach, the breakfast absolutely amazing, not speaking that we were granted also a late check out. Simply amazing holiday we had there!
I think one of the biggest minus I can think of is that the restaurant inside the hotel does not offer to many typical Greek or sea food. When I come to Greece on holiday I prefer to explore and get the much as possible from local food and ingredients like octopus, squid, gyros, moussaka etc. and not eat veal, rabbit, beef. So generally I would definitely include a bit of Greece in the restaurant menu.

The location was perfect. The suites were a 5 minute walk to the beach, which was groomed every day and well kept. Everything had that new feel to it and the rooms had heavy wooden doors and beautiful wood furniture. The attention to detail in the whole development felt carefully thought out, from the architecture, planning the buildings around ancient olive trees to the usb plugs by the bed. The plunge pool was such a luxury and well used by myself and my daughter when we could tear ourselves away from the beach. Always plenty of beds on the beach and attentive staff. There was a service button on each parasol to call a waiter. The breakfast was ok, hot food was available to order and a range of breads, cakes, cereal etc was good. I had fried eggs, chicken sausages and bacon, which was very nice. The staff throughout the resort were some of the nicest I’ve ever met. The rooms were always cleaned and the daily pool clean was nice to see. The whole experience was perfect, I particularly loved the extensive planting of lavender which wafted every time I walked past it on my way to the beach, and I could see that the pretty plants were all to attract bees and butterflies. There were so many butterflies it gave the experience an ethereal quality.
The scrambled eggs were cooked in either milk or something similar which tasted strange, as if they had been boiled in sweet milk. I prefer my scrambled eggs cooked with a little butter and finished with a dash of cream and a sprinkling of chives. Also, the avocado was always on the hard side, they should be ripe and soft. Omelettes were a little over cooked and quite small. The only down side was the restaurant and bar food, which was expensive and not always that appetising. I think a Michelin star chef could really elevate this resort and give it the five star attention it deserves. I hate to say it but I preferred the local food which was better and also cheaper than the resort restaurant.
