Beautiful Area lovely welcoming friendly staff, Maria is the perfect Host its the perfect spot for anyone of any age. The beach is over the road its a beautiful sandy beach, pool at apartments, and all is kept clean and well maintained. Daily clean from friendly staff perfect Cretan stay a must for anyone, I will definitely be back. The breakfast is great value for Buffet style with some lovely homemade Cretan treats thank you to the fabulous staff. Restautant on the beach great food, fabulous service always with a smile. You are truly spoiled here xx Just 10 euros in a taxi to Agios Nikolaos if you fancy a walk around the town centre and lots of fabulous restaurants truly spoilt for choice.

Really clean and comfy room across the road from the beach and tavernas. You can get a bus to Agios Nikolaos for 3€ and a taxi back to Amoudara is 11€. This is a great quiet place ideal for children. The supermarket on site has everything you need. The room is not really for cooking more for keeping drinks cold and making coffee. It's cheap to eat at the Tavernas (Skios had a fantastic snack menu) Maria in reception is helpful. Relaxing holiday.

Would have liked a coffee machine rather than a kettle just a personal choice. All fantastic.

Clean app near to fantastic sandy beach and couple of minutes from A. Nikolaos. Hotel manages also convenient Market with all necessities and their own tavern. Very good wifi. Good kitchen with all needed for cooking. Washing machine was also a great feature.

I didn't like that pictures and description are not completely in line with reality. Room was described as "Superior Appartment", but in reality what we had I would not describe as superior; we got really small app on floor level with window looking to next wall 3 m away. Doors heights were very low, way too low for my body height of 185 cm. Bathroom was also very tiny. Everything was OK at the end, but description should be way more realistic. Public parking over the road. Meaning some uncertainty with parking availability. Small pool is servicing many apartments, but nearby sea was way better option, so no trouble with that.

Excellent, peaceful accommodation. We had a very spacious, clean and up to date apartment that is fully equipped. Just across the road, you're at several excellent restaurants and a small beach. A great base for trips to the surrounding area: Agios Nikolaos, Elounda, Kritsa, Spinalonga, Kolokitha Beach. You're there in no time. But as with so many accommodations on Crete, the staff are the biggest asset. Maria's warm presence during our stay was especially unforgettable: thank you for your welcome, humor, tips, insights into life, and reassuring our youngest.

The room is enough for 2 persons with a small kitchenette and a fridge. Maria the manager of the place is WONDERFUL she is so welcoming and warm! The place is not more than a 3.5 stars, but the service is beyond any stars! Maria and her team makes you feel at home. They would help you in anything. Furthermore there are 3 taverns/restaurants where you can choose what to eat. The owner of the hotel has a convenient store where you could find anything! The hotel is located right in front of the beach not event 100 m. You need to cross the street and you find yourself in a wonderful place! They have a very clean swimming pool. The whole place is very very good! Finally the place is 10 min for the Center of Agios Nikolaos where you can find amazing restaurants and nice nightlife.

The facilities in the room show some age, for example the faucet in the bathroom is a scratched, the shower is really small and water can come outside on the floor. The whole bathroom is small. Also they don't have a good hair dryer. Please bring your own if you have long hair like mine and you need to do your hair for an event. There wre only 2 electrical plugs for use. Please bring a mutliple outlet or even a power strip if you have cellphones and laptops you need to use.

The location is excellent with direct access to the clean sandy beach, which has sunbeds if you buy the drink. The whole place was great for my toddler, including the pool. The room has everything you need - each room (bedrooms and main part) has AC, the kitchen is very well-equipped and everything is clean. There is also a snack bar, mini market, and a taverna so everything is convenient. I recommend renting a car because the trip to Agios Nikolaos and other beaches is worth it. The staff is very considerate and helpful.

The breakfast was basic and same every day, and it was hot in the dining area.

Lovely apartment close to the beach. Designed to look like a little street, the room was nicely furnished with balconies front and rear As well as the bedroom and en suite shower room, we had a small kitchen area with tea making facilities, crockery, cutlery and a mini hob. The manager, Maria was so welcoming and spent time telling us of the local attractions. The hotel has a beachfront restaurant and a snack bar in the complex.

I felt very warmly welcomed by the manager of the hotel - Maria. She is a very professional and friendly person and she gave me some good recommendations for visiting places around. I also liked how the hotel was organised, it gives you a cozy atmosphere and you don't have the feeling you are staying in a typical hotel. The beach is super close, two tavernas with delicious food, shop with everything you might need and a bus stop is nearby - everything you need for a pleasant stay at Ammoudara beach.

Convenient to various beaches and Agios Nikolas if you have a car. Great value for a family. Very clean with a great, attentive and personable staff. The Ammoudara Tavern right in front of the hotel has amazing food! Kosta the owner is also very attentive and personable!

The room we had was dated. Bathroom did not have good lighting and the shower was way too small.

I was on holiday with my 8 month old which i was very nervous about. The hotel went above and beyond for us and made everything extra special. Cot provided and high chair, they even set my room up with all his toy and belongings positioned how he likes them when the room was cleaned which I thought added a very personal touch! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and helped with our every need. The room/apartment was very clean and comfortable and good space.The photos don't do it justice on how beautiful the area is. I also recommend going to their taverna as the food is amazing! If anything was needed or I had a question Maria was extremely helpful. Thank you for making our first family holiday one to remember!
