The location is excellent with direct access to the clean sandy beach, which has sunbeds if you buy the drink. The whole place was great for my toddler, including the pool. The room has everything you need - each room (bedrooms and main part) has AC, the kitchen is very well-equipped and everything is clean. There is also a snack bar, mini market, and a taverna so everything is convenient. I recommend renting a car because the trip to Agios Nikolaos and other beaches is worth it. The staff is very considerate and helpful.

The breakfast was basic and same every day, and it was hot in the dining area.

The room is enough for 2 persons with a small kitchenette and a fridge. Maria the manager of the place is WONDERFUL she is so welcoming and warm! The place is not more than a 3.5 stars, but the service is beyond any stars! Maria and her team makes you feel at home. They would help you in anything. Furthermore there are 3 taverns/restaurants where you can choose what to eat. The owner of the hotel has a convenient store where you could find anything! The hotel is located right in front of the beach not event 100 m. You need to cross the street and you find yourself in a wonderful place! They have a very clean swimming pool. The whole place is very very good! Finally the place is 10 min for the Center of Agios Nikolaos where you can find amazing restaurants and nice nightlife.

The facilities in the room show some age, for example the faucet in the bathroom is a scratched, the shower is really small and water can come outside on the floor. The whole bathroom is small. Also they don't have a good hair dryer. Please bring your own if you have long hair like mine and you need to do your hair for an event. There wre only 2 electrical plugs for use. Please bring a mutliple outlet or even a power strip if you have cellphones and laptops you need to use.

Lovely apartment close to the beach. Designed to look like a little street, the room was nicely furnished with balconies front and rear As well as the bedroom and en suite shower room, we had a small kitchen area with tea making facilities, crockery, cutlery and a mini hob. The manager, Maria was so welcoming and spent time telling us of the local attractions. The hotel has a beachfront restaurant and a snack bar in the complex.

I felt very warmly welcomed by the manager of the hotel - Maria. She is a very professional and friendly person and she gave me some good recommendations for visiting places around. I also liked how the hotel was organised, it gives you a cozy atmosphere and you don't have the feeling you are staying in a typical hotel. The beach is super close, two tavernas with delicious food, shop with everything you might need and a bus stop is nearby - everything you need for a pleasant stay at Ammoudara beach.

I was on holiday with my 8 month old which i was very nervous about. The hotel went above and beyond for us and made everything extra special. Cot provided and high chair, they even set my room up with all his toy and belongings positioned how he likes them when the room was cleaned which I thought added a very personal touch! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and helped with our every need. The room/apartment was very clean and comfortable and good space.The photos don't do it justice on how beautiful the area is. I also recommend going to their taverna as the food is amazing! If anything was needed or I had a question Maria was extremely helpful. Thank you for making our first family holiday one to remember!

Nothing everything was perfect

It was perfect for us but we did have a car. As we went for 16 days we were upgraded free of charge and given a lovely 2 bedroom apartment with a sitting area outside. The beds were comfy and it was spotlessly clean. Maria the manager was so helpful marking places on the map for us to visit and generally looking after our every need. There's a lovely sandy beach across the road with 2 fantastic Tavernas and a small Supermarket on site. The staff were friendly and there's a quiet swimming pool too ànd a few miles from Agios Nikolaos and Elounda. We will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was extraordinary, the staff, the pool, cleanliness. Maria was more than nice and always helped us with any request we had and recommended places to visit. The location is also great, just few steps away from the beach ( i highly recomment to wake up in the morning for a nice swim while watching the sunrise) and tavernas. And a big plus for us was the fact that it was not too far from Agios Nicolaos and not in a crowded area. There is nothing bad I can say, except that we wish we would have stayed longer. No doubt we will return

Great location for lovely beach and the two or 3 cafe/restaurants. Friendly and helpful hostess, very comfee bed (for me at least) basic stuff all clean and working. Very reasonable price. Agios Nikolaos walkable in dunno…..45 mins or so….Very pleasant. There are some local busses: Maria the proprietress can provide details.

I was unlucky enough to truck up on Easter Sunday……so very little was open…..but access to room etc all pre arranged and simple.

Just across the road is a nice beach. Although by the road, it was quiet. You can park for free by the road. The breakfast was ok, a typical international breakfast with some fresh fruits and vegetables. The room was well equipped and clean. Close to Agios Nicolaos.

The road between hotel and the beach has quite a traffic.

The Ammoudara Beach Hotel Apartments is very pleasant, it looks like a village with its main alley, its pretty and quiet swimming pool, its bar and its shop on the road side, and of course its magnificent beach with its restaurant with its feet in the sea. water.
