Stunning beautiful hotel with amazing facilities and great food. The two managers named George made our stay very special. Thanks to them we had an amazing experience. Will look forward to coming back. Alex the pool manager and Maria (waitress) were amazing. We did have some small issues with other staff in main restaurant and beach area but apart from that, the buggy guys were amazing that take you to your room. Alex the pool bar manager was incredible and so hard-working. Maria the waitress at the pool bar should be the VIP host! So professional, hardworking, genuine and hospitable. She was amazing and they should be many Maria’s working there as she delivers complete five star. She’s a credit to the hotel. Her and Alex.

Hospitality was a bit flat to start and unprofessional at times. Which was a little shame but management dealt with our issues quickly. Food was great but desserts could be better. The

Beautiful resort with lovely beach and pool areas. Deluxe sea view room was very spacious with lots of storage and good sized balcony. Everything was spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Furnicular made getting around the resort easier. Great selection at the buffet with allergens clearly listed.

Only two downsides: 1. Would have benefitted from more staff both at the beach bar area and at the pool bar area. Often would be waiting quite a while for service/could be difficult to get the servers attention as they were so busy. 2. Gluten free options in the a la carte restaurants (and lunch menus at pool/beach) were limited - more options would be appreciated and indication on the menu for what could be adapted to be gluten free would also be helpful. However all staff were helpful re allergens and aware of coeliac disease and the need to avoid traces/cross contamination.

Luxurious resort with wonderful private beach and food, staff except for one person very polite

The front desk lady at the breakfast/ dinner (I think her name was Anna, short hair and butterfly tattoo on arm) was very rude and treated us like second class people. Whenever we arrived she advised us that we could not sit at the table we liked, forced us to wait and then redirected us to the noisiest corner in the last room - I travel regularly for work to similar hotels and have never encountered this behavior, unacceptable and a real pity because it significantly ruined our experience

Beautiful beach and pool and rooms/resort amazing. Fantastic staff who were extremely helpful and wonderful staff in the restaurants. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

The location is remote so possibly a shuttle bus to the local town would be convenient. Also we often had to wait for the funiculars and occasionally they stopped. Difficult to get a sun lounge as well. Only stay here if you are happy with many kids around you - but always well behaved children.

Amazing hotel with the best food and fantastic facilities.

The beach would benefit from the split between the adults only and families zone.

Sometimes the buffet food was a little lukewarm. Sun bed cushions rather grubby and beach towels tatty but clean. Not much to do in the immediate vicinity, car hire needed Very expensive drinks

Modern, well equipped rooms with great view and impeccably maintained. Staff were attentive and friendly. The gym was fantastic.

It felt very busy, especially at breakfast, dinner and on the beach. On one day of our stay the beach was very dirty but the staff did work to clean it. The kids club was fine for our 5 year old but our boys aged 10 and 8 would have liked a playground and a table football table.

The property is modern and all the facilities worked well. Our room was very comfortable. In Pangea Restaurant the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The fresh food there was generally very good but some of the hot buffet meals were overcooked and meats dried and toughened. However it was usually possible to find something reasonable to eat. We generally took lunch at Ocean and had great service and enjoyable meals.

The site is a little isolated and might suit those who have hired cars best. There is limited space around the Pool and on the Beach so one ends up sunbathing in very close proximity with others and it was not always possible to find a lounger in the sun.

High standard overall, great location, nice and clean area including villas, intimate atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff in the entire property & restaurants/ bars, overall good food experience (broad variety for breakfast, many options for lunch) but really worth exploring restaurants in Elunda, stunning views from sea view villas, very well equipped gym & heavenly spa area. Some wather sports options available at the beach. Definitely a place to come back :)

The only point: tight space at the beach, sun beds very close so in high season can be difficult to find a free spot if you don’t come in the morning. Similar with pool area.

The staff at this hotel are the most loveliest people and that's what really made my stay so enjoyable. Yes the hotel and location is beautiful, but the people - both other visitors and staff were so lovely and amazing. A rare thing for me to say as a solo traveller.

The excursions are unfortunately mostly created with couples or non-solo travellers in mind. So I couldn't even sign up to most of them, I could only choose from about 3, which meant I was mostly stranded at the hotel or in the nearby town. Bear this in mind if you're staying for longer than 4/5 days as it can get quite boring. The beach is a very small strip also, that was a little disappointing too but the nearby town is great so definitely walk there or get a taxi.
