It is an absolutely wonderful place with a stunning sea and mountains view. We loved everything about it. The pool area is great. The pool is clean and big and it was never crowded. It was a great place to chill and relax, with the view over the sea and the mountains. There is a lovely beach just outside the hotel. We had to only walk down the stairs. It was very convenient for days when we didn't want to go anywhere further. For the apartment itself it was a cozy and compact place, but very nice and super clean, with a kitchenette offering everything we might need. And we loved the terrace! With a view over the sea and close to the pool area, it was a great pleasure to have the morning coffee or an evening glass of wine there. It is a place I would absolutely recommend, for both families and couples.

Excellent family place for families. Well taken care of, personal, exceptional location - the beach 250 meters walk - is beautiful. The pool good, Maria a real asset. You have all freedom you want but can always ask for advice. If you look for a cosy place at the sea in a great location but far from mass tourism it is your place. Nice restaurants in walking distance at the beach.

That we had to leave after two weeks.

Absolutely best property we stayed in during our 2+ weeks in Crete. We rented the two bedroom villa and were very impressed with the quality of the property, great amenities. The host was very attentive and stays on site at all times. The pool is incredible and perfect for kids. I would highly recommend staying here and enjoying the local beaches. We were not crazy about Ag Nikolaos, but would return to this property in a heartbeat! Plenty to do around the property and avoid the hustle of the big city.

Beds were a bit hard as some others have mentioned, but it didn’t really bother us.

Good location close to a nice beach well suited for families. There is another blue flag beach within 10-15 min walk The pool is of a good size and the kids loved it. There are couple of decent establishments to have something to eat but if you’d like variety and top quality you have to go to Agios Nikolaus which is 6-7 minutes by car or 20-30 walking. Supermarket is 2 mins from property Hosts are flexible and welcoming

Had an unforgettable holiday at poppy Villlas and highly recommend it aspecisly for families with kids. The apartment is spacious and gives a Greek feeling in its lovely authentic furniture. Beds are comfortable and kitchen fully equipped. Nothing compares to the cinic view of the sea and the pool. We just loved sitting on balcony over looking the gorgeous view. Pool was fabulous. Amazing Beach in walking distance. Small supermarket snd a few tavernas also in short walking distance. Had marvelous holiday thanks to this great place.

Wonderful pool and nearby is a great beach with free sunbeds. We had a spacious apartment which was cleaned every day. Owner happy to help with questions, even some free fruits for you to enjoy with the great views. :) Two tavernas and cafe at the beach, also market where you can get the essentials. You can walk to Agios Nikolaos via beach route in about 45min. Bus stop at the beach

We like everything in Poppy Villas - nice apartment fully equipped with everything, fantastic sea view from it, nice pool with always available beds near by, close to a beach, tavernas, small shop and Agno Nikolais. Special thanks to Maria for kind assistance and necessary help

Beachfront villas overlooking the sea 🥰 The villa was spacious and the staff, Maria, was very friendly and welcoming. The pool was a plus for families with kids. Closes to Agios Nikolaos and other sandy beaches.

There were a lot of mosquitoes. So bring mosquito repellent.

We loved everything here. The accomodation was well equipped and clean, the villas were in excellent location with a stunnig view, beautiful and well maintained garden and swimming pool and it is literally 3 minutes walking from the amazing sandy beach with crystal clear water. Special thank for our host who was very attentive during our whole stay. We would be always happy to return here :)

There was not a thing we didn't like.

Lovely property with amazing views from room terrace and pool area. Cleaned daily to a high standard. Were upgraded to a larger room just for the 2 of us. Plenty of cooking facilities, bath with shower over and tv. Extremely friendly and helpful family.

Nothing. The villa is on a hill with either steps or driveway to beach/small resort. Only 2 tavernas and a poorly stocked supermarket in the resort. However there are buses into Agios Nikolaos, taxi for 10E or it's a 45 minute walk.
