Exceptional. The professional and attentive staff, the fantastic location, and the best view.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful and convenient location. Help with the luggage was fantastic. Rooms were amazing, really well equipped and nicely decorated and the views were breathtaking. Short walk into Fira along a lovely path. Also some very nice restaurants very nearby hotel. A nice walk into Imervogili as well.

Very quiet which was fine but for a family maybe a little too quiet. The stairs were definitely a workout and we couldn’t have stayed for longer than the 5 nights due to the stairs. The pool was small and a little cold. Sunbeds are limited and shade not readily available when there is a breeze as umbrellas can’t be up on breezy days.

The views from just about everywhere in the hotel are spectacular and especially from the infinity pool.

The service was generally good but, at least for us, did not match the rave reviews we had read before booking. There were no special touches that made us feel special. Our stay was late in the season (early October). They didn’t have many of the things we tried to order from the bar/restaurant and it felt to us like some of the staff were going through the motions.

Thank you to all the staff for making our stay with you so special. comfortable and homely. We absolutely loved spending time at the bar and were served (quite a few!) delicious cocktails. The service and friendliness of the bar, reception and restaurant team is second to none and really made our stay memorable. Breakfast was served by the staff at your chosen time (lovely menu choice) and set up in our room or on the balcony which was a wonderful. The cleaning staff are on point and everything was spotless with cleaning daily as well as a check-in every evening too. The porters are amazing lugging suitcases up and down the stairs - thank you. The food was delicious - we had breakfasts of course and one lunch at the hotel. The hotel is in an amazing spot overlooking the caldera. It feels like you are in your own little bubble. The decor is beautifully thought out and adds to the beauty of the spaces and the view. The walk to Fira is not too far and the town is beautiful. There are lots of restaurants above and a few minutes from the hotel so you don’t have to go too far if you don’t want too and there is the option of booking a taxi or getting the local bus. There are quite a few steps but it’s what you should expect if coming to Santorini :) Don’t hesitate to book at this beautiful boutique hotel - it’s incredible!!

There is nothing we did not like.

It was a wonderful place to stay in Santorini. I think if we visit Santorini again in life we would choose this place again. We loved it from the first moment we entered. The view is breathtaking. The stuff was very kind and helpful and looked every moment what they can help both at the reception and all the other stuff. Our room was beautiful, clean and spacious with a great terrace where to our breakfast arrived every morning. The breakfast was very tasty and we chosed what we prefer to eat from a list. The pool was nice , there was a stunnig view from it to the sea and the Kaldera. The water was a bit cold, but we didnt care, it was refreshing. As almost everywhere in Santorini the hotel has many stairs, so those who has problems with the legs wont enjoy it. It was not a problem for us. The room was extra clean! The bed was very comfortable. We rent a car and about 200- 250 meters away we had opportunity to park the car free. The location is fantastic, the hotel is in Firostefani, so not that crowdy, but with 15 minutes walk, you can reach Fira. The hotel is hidden from curious eyes- and that what we like a lot! The best choice if visiting Santorini to enjoy Homeric Poems!

A simply incredible property. The whole thing from start to finish is hard to beat. The view is amazing, the pool, the rooms, the way it is all put together. The location in Firostefani is the best. The breakfast, served every morning to your room's outdoor viewing area, is a highlight. All the staff were amazing (from the driver who met us at the airport through to reception, food and beverage, luggage and operations - everyone). Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and above all, happy to be there. They went out of their way to make us welcome and enjoy the property. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Hard to find any issues, however the restaurant, while offering amazing food, was expensive. There are many others on the island that offer great food at significantly cheaper prices.

No shadow at the swimming pool (usually windy therefore no way to get umbrella opened, but would be great to get some shadow system). Obvious in Santorini but there might be lots of stairs to reach (down) your room, think to ask details about number of stairs up to your room in case you have any condition.

We just loved everything, the whole experience! I chose this hotel on purpose and I was not disappointed! Highly recommendable if you need tranquility, total relaxation, boutique experience, friendly and educated staff, breathtaking views, classy service and much more…I would give 10+ if I could

There wasn’t such thing

This is an incredible hotel. It is very rare to find a property that has the highest quality bedrooms, mind-blowing food in the restaurant and consistently friendly service from start to finish. We came here to celebrate my 50th birthday and it was perfect in every way. We have travelled extensively over the years, and Homeric Poems is one of the best placed we've ever stayed in. As you enter the property, the feelings of calm and luxury are very special. Stefano and his team provide a level of service that far surpassed any other hotel. We felt special the entire time and have already recommended the hotel to others. The restaurant needs to be more actively shown on the website, as the food was amazing (clever, imaginative and beautifully produced). Thank you to everyone at Homeric Poems - your hotel is an absolute delight!

Nothing - it was perfect.

Everything from the room to the service to the kind-hearted and helpful nature of all the staff members… incredible. Not usually the type to write a review but this place was out of this world. The room was super clean and the bed 10/10 comfy. The shower pressure perfect, the breakfast is 11/10! Brought to your room every morning and what a choice. Not to mention the insane view! The reception staff were the most helpful we’ve ever come across. We were able to book so many things so easily with the help of the staff! Couldn’t be more happy with this incredible place.
