Our room was large and very comfortable. The location is superb. The hosts were very helpful and a provided lots of great advice on where to go and how to get around. After we checked out we were able to leave our bags and then have a shower and get changed before we left.

We asked the hotel to book us a taxi to the airport. This was expensive at 25 Euros for a 15 min journey but we wanted the convenience. The driver demanded payment up front. He was rude and aggressive and then went on a detour to pick up other passengers! When the people were not there he parked and left the taxi without any explanation. It was a very uncomfortable and disturbing experience. I complained to the hotel about the company they were partnering with and eventually received 10 Euros in compensation. This shouldn't have happened though.

The property sits on a hill, with views of the sea (opposite of the Caldera, you can see JNX airport and Anafi island). It’s nice to just sit outside of the room and enjoy the serene view. Because the property is on a hill, you will have to walk up and down. It will be something to consider if you have mobility issues. But Fira and Oia are on top of the hill so you will have to do a lot of walking up and down no matter what. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk downhill to Fira main square. The Three Bells of Fira and Caldera view is about 8-10 minutes walk uphill from the property. It is a spectacular place to watch the sunset, and is not very crowded. Our room was spacious and very clean, all the appliances are in good condition and works as expected. It was very nice to have a large bottle of water cooling in the full size fridge and have croissants in their welcome basket. There are plenty of outlets to plug/charge devices. There is a well stocked market steps from the property, a car rental place and another market closer to Fira Town Square. There are a few restaurants steps from the property, and more along the way, when you walk to Fira Town Square. Elisa checked us in and was very helpful giving us tips on where to eat, what to see, etc. Angeliki, the manager, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, helped us with transfers to and from the hotel. Thank you Angeliki and Elisa, for making our stay wonderful!

This is a lovely boutique hotel with just a few rooms. Only about 100 metres from Firostefani in one direction and about 500m from Fira in the other. The hotel is up a slope that looks out over the east of the island, so gets the sunrise every morning. The room is large with good facilities - fridge, terrace, comfortable bed and seating. The bathroom is tasteful and a good shower. The owners were brilliant - very helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. I had a great saty and would recommend!

The hotel is up quite a steep slope, so may present issues if you are not that mobile.

Lovely, super-clean, small and friendly hotel with great and supportive staff. The best location on Santorini, walking distance to most of iconic spots, with a mini market, tavernas and places to get coffee in a direct surrounding. Adding to the above price/quality ratio makes it a perfect choice. I am grateful we stayed at Afrodete Hotel.

-Easily Accessible: It’s in between firostefani central and fira central. Very good location and there’s a passage where you get to go through the quiet neighborhood than the main street. -Beside a grocery store -nice staff -spacious and peaceful

Functionality in the room. -A mini rack inside the shower room so we can put soaps and all and not on the ground. -too many main bulb lights for aesthetic that can actually cost a higher bill to the owner and it’s too bright for the client. One main light is enough and side lights for the bed. -only one key provided so if you have a friend with you and you have to go separate ways during the day, it’s a bit inconvenient since you have to wait for your friend to get home if he/she has the key. (Yes we can leave it at reception but it’s not 24/7)

Ayyeliki was a warm, loveable and hospitable host. She ensured we had everything we needed and more. The property is in a prime location, perfect to explore the island in its entirety. It’s a 2 minute walk away from the centre of Fira - which is full of nightlife and great touristy stores that promote Greek products. The room is modern and clean, with a strong air conditioner and the property has a wonderful small pool to cool off in. We definitely recommend staying here to get the full Santorini experience.

Great room not far from central Fira - even better being in Firostefani away from the main crowds. The rooms were perfect and we really appreciated the recommendations given too.

Almost everything was great! Only thing to note is as the hotel is quite small (only 6 or so rooms), there is variation in what you get. We booked two rooms of the same type but they had slightly different facilities

Warm welcome and staff gave good guidance on trips and transfers. Hotel was easy to get to from the airport, taking the local bus (€2 each) to Fira. It was a 10/15 min walk up a steep hill to the hotel from the bus station but easy enough for two 28 yr-olds wheeling cabin bags. Lovely clean room, powerful shower and didn't have trouble getting a spot at the pool. Handy mini market to the left of the hotel and a nice walk to restaurants. Perfect stay.

Friendly staff - offered information on getting to the property and also provided taxi booking services (at an extra cost). Welcome pack was very thoughtful. Most importantly, I appreciated that a common space was provided for us to use (after check out and before our departure time).

Very trivial but shower screen was only half so the whole bathroom was wet when showering. Also toiletries were not replenished on our second day (you may need to ask the staff).
