We had the most amazing stay at Thira Hôtel in Fira, Santorini! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such kindness—the staff is incredibly thoughtful, friendly, and genuinely helpful. You can tell they really care about their guests and want you to have the best experience possible. Our room was absolutely beautiful, just like in the photos—maybe even better in real life! Clean, stylish, and cozy, with a stunning view of the sea that we could never get enough of. Waking up to that view every morning was something truly special. The location is perfect—only a 3-minute walk to the center of Fira, so everything is super close (shops, restaurants, caldera views), but the hotel itself is in a peaceful spot, so it’s calm and quiet at night. Best of both worlds! And we have to mention the pool—just perfect. Clean, relaxing, and such a lovely area to chill out. 10/10, no hesitation. Honestly, everything about our stay felt easy, relaxing, and just right. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already dreaming about coming back. Sitting by the pool before we leave to go home! What a beautiful hotel. Situated in a quieter area of Fira - you can walk up or down the hill to view the sunsets in about 10 mins - in the morning all we had to do was open the door to view the sunrise but the roof terrace is a lovely seating area. The staff, in particular Eva and Joy were so lovely and friendly and made us feel so welcome! Joy’s rice pudding will be very missed!! The hotel rooms are decorated beautifully and are spotlessly clean! Eva was so thoughtful and the gift we will treasure! Thank you for making our week holiday beautiful!

Eva, Joy and their delightful team were more than happy to help! At check-in and during our day they were polite, attentive and really wanted us to have a great experience. On arrival, we were recommended several places including restaurants & beaches to visit. Our room was spacious, clean and had modern amenities. Breakfast was freshly prepared and tasty. The pool was cool and surrounding seating was comfortable. 10/10 ⭐️. Would love to stay again!

Hotel Thira is really nice, family run and all the staff go out of their way to make guest happy. From the moment we were collected when we arrived, to leaving, every one of the staff was smiling, courteous, and dedicated to their role. We would particularly mention Joy, who was a ray of sunshine preparing and serving breakfast each morning. The hotel itself is great, in pristine shape, and in a great location just minutes from Fira centre shops, restaurants and the caldera. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return.

Staying at this hotel offers the quintessential Santorini experience. Firstly, it's a family-owned establishment, and the owners were incredibly warm and friendly. Secondly, the staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, and went above and beyond to enhance our stay—from assisting with trip planning to customizing our breakfast. Thirdly, the hotel has a great location with a beautiful pool. While it doesn't overlook the caldera, this actually adds to its charm, providing a peaceful retreat. It's just a 5-10 minute walk to Fira town centre, allowing you to avoid the large, noisy crowds. Additionally, a short stroll to Firostefani offers excellent restaurants and bars with stunning caldera views. This hotel is truly fabulous, with outstanding hosts - Mr Tony, his wife Antonia, Eva at reception and Joy the breakfast chef were all super kind. The final touches of letting us leave our luggage and even offering us a leaving gift were much appreciated! Highly recommended. P.S. - You can also rent nice cars from Mr. Tony who is conveniently located just below the hotel.

We loved the pool and used it every day during our stay. Breakfast was lovely and Joy was so helpful with the food. Eva from reception was so lovely helping us with recommendations for things to do and places to eat, as well as organising a transfer to the port upon check out! We also loved the convenience of having the rental company next door as we hired an ATV to get around the island.

Bed was a bit uncomfy could do with an extra pillow or two.

Beautiful family-owned boutique hotel with all the amenities a budget conscious travel will admire: tranquil pool, international buffet breakfast, unique decor, ocean views, multiple private lounge spaces, nearby restaurants with authentic Greek cuisine at half the “caldera-view” types provide. Multiple greek mini-markets for .50 to 1e waters to put in your mini fridge and all the snacks you need for long hikes to see nearby towns. Just steps from the primary walking paths to Thira & Oia without the crowds and noise. Our room had amazing lighting options, accessible outlets, and charming “cave-like” shower that I wish I had in the U.S. But the BEST part of our stay was how personally attentive Evanthia (front desk clerk) and Joy (breakfast hostess) were. Always willing to make our stay even better! Even the cleaning staff asked everyday if we were happy or needed anything. I can’t wait to bring my family next time to this gem of Santorini.

Be sure get the address correct for your driver as the hotel is at the corner on 25th of March. It is easy to miss. Look for Tony’s car & ATV Rental sign for hotel entrance.

If you are looking for a clean and convenient location in Fira, I highly recommend this property. We had an extremely late flight flying in from Athens and the hosts arranged logistics to pick us up and the owner personally helped us out with the check in despite it being almost 11pm when we arrived. It's a cozy property and close to the city centre(walking distance). The staff are all very helpful and kind and if you want something a bit more personalised with a human touch I'd go for this hotel. They have car rental right underneath (ATV/motorbikes etc) and offers instructions/ help whenever you needed. It is a good stop before heading out to OIA or driving down to the Black/Red beaches.

Very modern and clean room, which was tidied every day dueing our stay. Nice staff and breakfast. You can walk into town directly from the hotel. And if you want, you can rent a vehicle next door (se owner as the hotel) which is useful.

Although walking into the town is a plus on the location, the view is not so nice. The hotel is situated directly next to one of the main roads, so you see and hear cars and roads. The sound was not bothering (in May) but the view was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, all together we had a pleasant stay and would come again.

Eva was amazing, answer all my questions and was super helpful with recommendations and having the room ready in the morning when I arrived rather than the actual check in time. Its a family run business and I met a lot of them around the accommodation and had lovely chats with them - a lovely vibe for a solo female traveler. I also liked that they had a pool and meant you could cool off in the pool as the summer days are so hot!
