A no-frills traditional hotel with very pleasant, helpful staff and a calm homely feel. Perfect if you don't need all the fripperies of fancier hotels. Our twin room was spacious and light and airy, with a large bathroom. Breakfast was relatively simple, with toast, cake and orange juice and with cold meats, cheese and eggs available for you to help yourself to. But the highlight was the homemade yogurt and little pots of Greek honey. Situated just outside Fira, it's far enough away to be nice and peaceful, yet close enough for an easy stroll in along a paved footpath that the hotel owner told us about. Turn right out of the hotel and you quickly come to the path to Oia, with magnificent views over the harbour.

The only thing we would have liked would have been tea and coffee-making facilities in our room, but we loved it here and would definitely go back.

The location of this property is about 15 mins by walk from the public bus stand or the city center. The place is family run so firstly feels homely especially if you are with family. The owner is very caring about his guests and very helpful to them in terms of looking at their needs and providing them with a lot of information they need. This is one of the few places that provides a breakfast with a limited but enough items on a breakfast menu which is included in the price of stay since even to have breakfast you might have to walk depending upon what you want to have for breakfast. It is a very quiet property with a great view overlooking the city, mountains and the sea.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the property at the beginning of the Fira to Oia walkway with its magnificent views and within walking distance to two museums. The property was well maintained, very solid and of older design with thicker than usual walls making the place quiet. Fira was not as touristy then Oia and had many good restaurants at more reasonable prices.

The breakfast was minimalist.

The location is perfect. It’s tucked away in a quiet street but it’s less than a 5 min walk from the main streets, a 3 min walk from my favorite sunset viewing spot, and 10 min from the island’s central bus station. The owner and the staff are incredibly hospitable, always very kind and helpful. The room itself is very comfortable and the A/C works very well. The value for the location and comfort is unmatched and I will definitely stay here on my next visit!

Location is good. Within walking distance of many shops and restaurants but removed enough from it that it is quiet at night. Housekeeping came daily and did an excellent job. Friendly staff.

Breakfast is limited and simple -hard boiled eggs, bread and yogurt- and does not change day to day. Property is older with older decor but well maintained.

Location was fantastic, right above the town of Fira so within about 2 minutes we were at the shops. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning was simple but delicious and fueled us for the day ahead. Bus stop was about 15 mins down through the town which runs buses that can take you all over the island. Beds were comfortable which is not always a common occurrence from our travels. We also had our own balcony with a nice view of the town and the ocean.

No negatives at all about the actual hotel, just a fair warning to other travellers who are travelling with suitcases. The majority of the walk from the bus station is uphill through the cobbled streets of the town and lugging suitcases up these is a difficult task.

This is a wonderful hotel and very affordable price; it is a must stay. It was very clean and the breakfasts were very good. The location is so convenient; very near the cable cars and Donkey trail to the old port. Very close to the rim of the caldera with a wonderful view. The gentleman at the front desk is very approachable and very helpful. My bed and room were made up when I returned; Room was tidied very clean. Can’t say enough nice things about this hotel.

I cannot thank Emmanuel and his family enough for their hospitality! Emmanuel who runs the hotel and reception speaks fluent Greek, English, French, Italian, and I think Spanish and is so knowledgeable! If you need any recommendations about boat tours he will be the best for advices as he used to work his entire life on boats in the merchant navy and travelled the world. The rooms were so cute and comfortable, really nice beds and cute balcony where you can relax and read. The breakfast served by the lovely sweet Maria was simple but just what I needed. Toasts, jams, coffee, cold cuts, hard boiled egg and of course the delicious Greek yogurt.

Super location, great staff, a comfortable bed, a good breakfast, and parking next to the hotel. Recommendation for 3-5 days for a couple. You can order an excursion to Caldera at the hotel reception.

Hearty, good breakfast, but it would be nice to have more variety. Perhaps this would be good for people staying here for more than 5 days.

Friendly staff that provided great information for our stay on the island. Hotel was charming and a few minutes walk away from the centre of town which made for a more relaxing and quieter experience.
