Hotel Hellas was perfect for our stay as a group of 5 girls. With the hotel situated in a location close to the restaurants, bars, and shops it is ideal for whatever kind of Santorini experience you are looking for. The staff were so friendly, and made sure to make us feel as comfortable as possible. We especially enjoyed the use of the pool, which is a unique feature to many hotels in Santorini. I would recommend Hotel Hellas to anyone visiting. I am confident you will not be disappointed!

A simple, comfortable, clean hotel. The location in Firostefani is much more relaxing and less hectic than nearby Firá. The owner Irene is incredibly welcoming and helpful, and all the staff are lovely. The outdoor pool is beautifully kept and so pleasant for swimming. We had a very enjoyable balcony with a spectacular view down the steep hillside, overlooking the island with a great view of the sea and the islands to the northeast.

Because we were high up a steep hillside, the breeze kept insects at bay for much of the time, but at night there were, unsurprisingly, mosquitoes. In a supermarket in Firá, we were able to get a mosquito plug that made a huge difference.

The hotel is few steps away from Fira and Firostefani. This is great to explore them both and also to easily access the hike to Oia. The hotel is very nice (they clean the rooms every day and provide new towels) and the swimming pool is very clean and pretty. Our room had a balcony with sea view which was wonderful. The host is lovely too and she was always available for any question and happy to help us if we needed.

We loved the ambience of the suite, it had enough room and was neat and tidy. It wasn't too far from the general store and close to restaurants. Irene was a great hostess, very friendly and helpful.

There were a lot of steps and it was very steep to get to the shop and restaurants. But the island is very hilly and you would expect this. No coffee/tea, sugar or milk provided. We left some behind, hopefully for the next guest.

Very decent for the price (which isn’t the lowest in Santorini), we can’t say anything bad about the staff or facilities. Clean towels were provided every day. Everything was very clean and proper. We loved our host Irene, who welcomed us with a bright smile and nice words. Everything was close to the property (groceries, restaurants, city centre etc.)

The only thing that slightly bothered us were uncomfortable beds, however, we walked so much around the island, that we didn’t even notice it.

Our room was exactly as photographed. The accommodation is clean and no frills. There was a handy little balcony to sit out on in the evening and the lighting around the pool area does add a nice ambience to the hotel. They run an efficient operation and expected us upon arrival. The lady who runs the hotel is more friendly than the young girl who greeted us on the first day but all was fine. It did entertain us that there were disco lights in the room under the beds - they seem like an expensive luxury in a hotel of this calibre and may not get put to good use as this is a family orientated hotel. I did use the pool and that was a treat. If I was looking for a room for one or two nights in Santorini then I would stay again but perhaps I would look for somewhere slightly more comfortable if I were staying longer. The hotel is excellent value for money for Santorini.

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make a coffee/tea. The kettle was out in the corridor and you have to go and ask for cups - luckily we had our own coffee/tea with us. Other than that all was good.

We like it because its quite, it is clean the place is nice and have some view of Santorini. We like the pool so much but it is one of the deepest pool we have experienced. We like the location, just a walk away from center of Fira. Staff are nice and the owner is very helpful and accommodating and very considerable.

The young lady at the reception was nice and friendly. Location was good, not that far from bus station in Fira and close (walking distance) to shopping / restaurant streets, but very quiet. The equipment was very simple, but bed was comfortable, however for a longer stay I would appreciate to have glass for water and some plate / bowl to use for fruits and snacks I bought in the street. The room and bathroom was cleaned daily. I could leave my luggage in the room next to reception after check-out - very helpful.

The electricity stoped working in the whole room when I took the keys with card out, including the fridge, so my fruits I left in the fridge were bad and watter hot when I got back late in the evening, but that's more kind of my fault, I din't realize to separate the card from keys and leave it in the room to keep the electricity on. :')

We were greeted by Irene at the property and immediately upgraded to a beautiful room right beside the pool with a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the east coast of Santorini. The room was clean, modern, and kept us cool in the very hot days without needing to use A/C all the time. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Thira centre, which is nice as it is private, without constant tourist onlookers. There is a shop about 1 minute walk away meaning we could make our lunches for travel days. Irene the host was warm and bubbly and gave us excellent information about the area.

We were very happy with the pool and room location. The staff were so welcoming and kind. Overall we felt very at home. Irene, the hostess, was always happy to help and organise an airport transfer as well as give directions throughout the area.

Upon arrival to our room, there was a thick layers of dust coating the floor. The overall cleanliness of the rooms was great, considering the last minute booking. We assumed that the room hadn't been cleaned because of how last minute the booking was.
