The breakfast was excellent, offering plenty of choices. The location is peaceful and away from any noise, creating a very tranquil atmosphere. A well-equipped supermarket is just five minutes from the hotel, with reasonable prices. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Cleanliness was outstanding—well done to the housekeeping team! The swimming pool was a good size, and the shower in the room was spacious and comfortable. The restaurant food for both lunch and dinner was very good. It's a shame that more people don’t seem to recognize this, as most evenings were very quiet, with no entertainment and a noticeable lack of atmosphere.

One aspect I didn’t appreciate was that the room I booked was described as having a balcony, but I was given a room with an open terrace near the swimming pool instead. When I raised this issue, the reservations manager explained it was due to a translation error in the booking algorithm, and that there are actually two different room types—something that was not clearly specified on the Booking.com website. This was quite misleading for the customer and caused unnecessary confusion. While the room itself turned out to be fine in the end, I was disappointed by the lack of effort to offer a solution or any form of compensation for the mix-up. I felt that more could have been done to address the situation.

Our apartment was great with a large balcony that overlooked the pool area and to the beach and sea beyond. The buffet breakfast was very good, with a selection of hot and cold food available every day. The location was quite quiet and right on the beach, which gives the option of swimming in the pool, or the sea. There were enough restaurants in walking distance, for a two week stay, so a car is not essential. There is a mini-market, about 100yds from Kostakis that sells most things you could possibly need and there is a Lidl about a mile or so to the east - if you are looking for a wider choice of foods, or keen to pay a bit less for your shopping! Our fridge was on its last legs and after a few days of persevering with it, we mentioned it to the receptionist and within an hour, we had a brand new fridge in position and working. This was typical of the service that we found from all of the staff we encountered - nothing was too much trouble. Our apartment was cleaned every day, except for the two Sundays we were there, and the sheets and towels seemed to get changed every couple of days. The pool is a good size and is kept very clean, with quite a number of sun loungers around it. There are fixed umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach in front of the resort, for which a charge of 2.50 Euros per person, per day is made. It seemed a bit unnecessary, to us, but those are the rules! The pool bar and restaurant were good and run by lovely staff. We ate there several times in the evenings and the food was very good. That gives you another option, if you don't fancy a stroll out, or if the weather isn't great and you just want to stay close by. It is a 10 minute walk to the main road that passes through the centre of Gerani, where there are bus stops for the regular public buses that go along the coast, to the east and west, including to Chania.

Everything was great. The view was amazing, we could watch the sunsets every day from the terrace. The breakfasts were delicious and very diverse, I think everyone will find something for themselves. We also tried the à la carte dinners several times, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was very nice and helpful. The swimming pool is clean, large enough, with a separate paddling pool for children. I highly recommend!

Very family oriented, great place to bring kids. Beach is spacious anLittles. Pool us nice as well. rooms very quiet at night. On site restaurant has good options... several classic greek dishes, but also chicken nuggets for the littles. Breakfast is buffet style with options to suit.everyone.

Only complaint, and it's a tiny one, was the air conditioner was very loud. Nice feature, however, was.that it didn't turn off if you opened door to go out on patio.

Very friendly staff, excellent services and great food. The morning buffet has a lot of choices and it was delicious. We rented the apartment with sea view and we had wonderful time. The location is a little off the main street which was nice and relaxing. The pool is nice and well maintained. Easy access to the highway for exploring around the island.

If you want to stay away from the noise of the city,this is the place to stay. You will definitely need a car to travel. There are not much things to do near the Hotel but you can relax at the beach or in the pool. Rooms were clean when we arrived and were cleaned everyday. Breakfast was good. If you are a party person then this is not the place to stay.

Blankets were dirty with some sand in it. But they were replaced when we informed the reception.

The breakfast was delicious. A lot of choices and varius types of food. The room was big enough for a family, very clean as the staff regularely changed the towels and lining. Very good location and the view.

The cooking plate was small and electric (very old), so if want to cook your meals, there could be a problem.

Breakfasts were varied in choice and plentiful. All staff friendly and helpful. View from our apartment (211) the best and shaded all day which was a bonus in the heat we experienced. Local supermarket stocked everything needed. Stoney beach kept crowds away

Could have done with a microwave as cooking facilities restrictive. No problem for us but perhaps a family with small children would need one. Everything else great.

My husband and I had a beach front apartment which was great. Nice view of the sea and we could go for a morning swim before breakfast immediately outside our door. We had other family members stay in other apartments at the same time. The small supermarket was close by which was handy. Our grandchildren loved the goat's across the road from the hotel and we went to visit them often. The lady at reception was lovely, friendly and helpful and so were the cleaners. The food at breakfast and in the restaurant was good. We were blessed with the wonderful experience of seeing loggerhead turtles hatching from a nest on the last evening of our stay on the beach right near our apartment.

The kitchen and bathroom cupboards smelled a bit musty. The beach was not suitable for younger children but great that there is a pool to compensate.
