The staff were hardworking and very welcoming. Our room was great. The bed was actually more comfortable than my bed at home. My husband is coeliac and we emailed ahead. They catered for him making him feel at ease. It is normally something he worries about. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. I would recommend this place.

Maleme itself is not the busiest resort with only a couple of restaurants but the buses are frequent and for 2 euros you can go to platanias which is about 5 minutes away.

It's been a pleasure spending my holiday in Maleme Mare. Located by the sea, with 2 very nice pools and plenty of sunbeds. There are some amazing people working in this hotel. They took perfect care of us, and we felt very comfortable and relaxed. Food was very good, actually it was the best all-inclisive food I've ever had. Whole place is clean and tidy. Lots of cats and kittens too. There are some nice restaurants around, not many, but they are very good. Shops, and bus stop are 3 minutes away from the hotel. This was a great choice for my holiday and this is a place worth visiting again.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The beach, is just two steps away. The staff is doing great job. Food is great. Very good breakfast, lunch and dinner with a variaty of greek food and much more. Fresh salads, sea food. 2 Swimming pools, very fancy, Moderną and brand new furniture. The garde is very well kept. Beautiful flowers. The room was very clean and the furniture tulish and new The music i the evening very good. If you book All Inclusive you can enjoy very good coctails, local spirits Highlt recommend.

Maleme Mare has the facilities and standards of a large hotel combined with a welcoming and personal atmosphere. We loved our short break here and will return. The hotel opens out onto an unspoilt stretch of beach, with stunning views. The pools and gardens are lovely for the daytime, and the seating area perfect for relaxing in the evening. The staff were all kind and friendly, we felt completely at home.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way possible. A very clean and well maintained property, with excellent staff. The food was great and all common areas were clean and comfortable. Great place, absolutely recommended. Cretan hospitality at it's best!

Nothing not to like.

The room was lovely, overlooking the pool, a small Chapel, and the sea and coastline. The staff were all welcoming, especially Eleni and Stavros who could not have been more helpful.

Too much food! Never done all-inclusive before. Put on weight!!!

Excellent location, delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. Clean and comfortable room.

The location is nice and right at the beach promenade. Room was rather spacious and clean, beds were nice and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Dinner and breakfast were acceptable but just. The offered salads were rather plain in taste and some of the warm food was lukewarm only. I asked for two fresh chicken skewers - they were prepared for me and unfortunately not eatable as not properly cooked through. Breakfast did the job but was nothing special. The shower drain didn't cope with the water from the shower and flooded most of the bathroom. Safe was locked and therefore unusable. All in all not big negative points but I rather have dinner in a restaurant than at this hotel.
