The hosts were great and we felt very welcome. They were very helpful also with the daily planning with suggestion for escursion etc. The facilities were very clean and tidy. There were some toys in the property that children could play with (ikea kitchen + toy food, some cars, dolls, etc.. and also water and sand toys to borrow for the pool or the beach) and that alone made it a great choice for our toddler son. The property was within 5 minutes walking from the beach and a big supermarket. Just in front of the property, there was a brand new and well kept playground. At the corner of the street there is a delicious taverna/restaurant where we had dinner few times.

Everything was great ! Starting from the localisation, close to the beach and nearby taverns. The rooms aren't big, but there is enough space for staying. It is important they are cleaned everyday, with exchange of towels and sheets. The pool is big enough to relax and swim a little bit. And most important - Nectaria is wonderful host. Nothing is too hard for her, she was very helpful with stuff like renting the car or reserving the tickets for the boat trip. Yo can also count on tips for the places to visit or best taverns and restaurants in Maleme and Chania. Thanks for everything Nectaria !

Nektaria was so friendly and helpful. She speaks several languages and was available on WhatsApp if we had any questions. The pool is beautiful and everything is really clean. Plenty of toys and floats are provided for free. The AC worked well. We made good use of the kitchenette, which had many amenities like a kettle and sandwich toaster. We liked having 2 balconies to dry off our clothes. It's a family-friendly place!

Perhaps a microwave would be useful? It's also worth to bear in mind that the beach nearby is a pebbly beach. We rented a car so we didn't mind as there are plenty of sandy beaches close by. We didn't manage to use wifi in our flat, but that was fine as the 4G is good. The wifi signal around the pool is strong. There are a few restaurants dotted around.

The stay was excellent. Our host Nektaria, was the most welcoming and friendly person we have had the pleasure with throughout many years of travelling. She was always reachable and ready to help us, if we needed something. Always had good tips for our trips around Crete. No matter if it was for restaurants, shopping, beaches or any other locations. Solon apartments is definitely a recommendation for families or people who want to discover the beauty of Crete. The location is fantastic for the west of the island. And Nektaria is a great source of information and makes sure you will have the most fantastic of times.

I have to say that this was a great start to our holiday. We arrived late after 2300 and was met by Christos who helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room. The following morning Nektaria was there to give us advise on where to go, where to eat and generally to make sure all was ok with the start of our stay. The accommodation was clean, comfy bed and had what we needed. We had a balcony overlooking the pool to sit down and have our breakfast and late-night drinks. Nektaria and Christos, (brother and sister team) were very attentive to the upkeep of the place, your needs which made our stay here so worthwhile. Highly recommend this place and good value for money.

There was nothing we did not like about this place

Unfortunately, I couldn't come to Greece, but my husband and mother-in-law were simply delighted with their visit to Solon Apartments! Incredibly helpful staff, who helped us in a short period of time to find even inflatable helium balloons, so as not to go to the birthday party empty-handed. Very convenient location, everything is nearby - a supermarket, restaurants, a beach and a bus stop. Nektaria thank you! We will definitely come to you again and I hope I will also be able to visit your wonderful hotel)

The apartments are perfect for families, couples and groups that want to stay in one place and have the cosiness of a home. It's clean, close to local stores, tavernas and the seaside. It's a good location for staying in one place if you have to visit most of the island's points of interest (between 30 minutes - 1 hour drive to most of them. (It's a big island and wherever you stay you'll need to rent a car so you can really get the most out of Crete) The host , Nektaria is the most friendly and helpful owner I have ever met. She knows everything you need to know about the island and how to get the most of everything.

Necktoria and her brother, Chris were the best—and I mean the BEST of hosts, couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel/apartments were beautiful (the flowers, the pool..). Our rooms were cleaned every day—and they were spotless. It’s so very close to the beach (and the water was warm!). Everything we could need was provided—just WOW. We couldn’t have had a more wonderful time. Thank you Necktoria!!!

All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Very quiet location, with a beautiful pool in the yard. At the same time, they are very close to restaurants with food, very well stocked shops and beach. There is a car park in front of the house, which is rarely occupied. There is also a local bus stop 250m from the house. I highly recommend it for families with children.

Nectaria, the proprietress,and her staff were delightful, friendly and very helpful. The pool was a gem which was very well maintained and the apartment well appointed and clean with comfortably firm beds. Highly recommend this property which is a short walk away from a great pebbly swimming beach, super markets and tavernas.

Wifi was variable and intermittent.
