Difficult to be concise as everything was perfect 👍😀 Above all, the hospitality from Andreas, family and everyone involved was absolutely superb - thank you for making us feel so welcome. Our room was spacious, well appointed and had the most amazing uninterrupted sea view. It was spotlessly clean and looked after every day. The location in fairness is uphill from the main road leading from Gythio - not a problem to us but might not suit others (local taxi is only a few Euro). But it is this location that makes this such a lovely peaceful experience. Also, just a short (level) walk away are three superb tavernas and a good local store. Our favourite was The Garden taverna run by a lovely family - great local food and very well priced. Gythio itself is wonderful and very traditional with good selection of shops, cafes and tavernas. Bus station on the edge of town has a waiting room and helpful staff - travelling to / from Athens was easy and a reliable service.

**Review of Kallisto Studios, Gythion, Greece** I recently spent four delightful days at Kallisto Studios near Gythion, Greece, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. The studio was exceptionally clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The environment was calm and peaceful, making it a perfect getaway. It's conveniently located just 1.3 km from Gythion, allowing for a pleasant walk into town. Additionally, there’s a lovely taverna nearby, adding to the convenience. A special mention goes to Georgina, who was extremely helpful throughout our stay. When we found ourselves out of food, she kindly arranged for us to be driven to the supermarket, ensuring we had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, contributing to a restful night's sleep after our day of exploration. Overall, I highly recommend Kallisto Studios for anyone looking for a clean, serene, and well-located place to stay in Gythion. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

They have the most beautiful unobstructed sea view we ever had. The sunrise every morning was just spectacular. The whole place under the Greek blue skies just look beautiful and feel so pleasant. The Hosts were very nice and kind and the cats were so lovely. The studio itself was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay in the nice place, especially the wrapped around balcony.

The only thing we didn't like is the noise and the TV from the adjacent rooms in the evening. But this didn't change the fact that we really had a great time staying.

The most pleasant stay in our journey around Peloponnese this summer. Location is suitable to visit Sparta and Mystra, Areopolis and Limeni, as well as Monemvasia. The room is perfectly clean, and they clean it thoroughly every day. The balcony has a magnificent sea view, providing us many nice hours to rest and contemplate. There is parking lot with shade on the property. If you are willing to walk down the very steep path, there is a beautiful small beach, even with shade from the hill. Wildlife in the area is also impressive: besides birds and domestic cats, we met a few wild boar cubs while driving. We even saw a fox in the olive grove beneath our balcony.

Everything was very nice. We wanted to stay longer, but all the rooms were occupied. We are surely coming again.

Perfect - what can i say? the view is amazing in front of the sea. the rooms are well equipped with everything you need. the room has been cleaned and sorted every day! Georgia the owner is such a great person, kind, helpful, the room and area is charming. very comfortable, accessible, and beautiful. What is there not to like? We had both Sea and Mountain Views from our well-stocked room that came with some coffee to make a Frappe in the morning. Georgina was the best host one could ask for. Incredibly accommodating, one of the nicest people we’ve met in Greece. You’re an about a 10 minute walk to Gythio and about a five minute walk into Mavrouni, the location was great. I would highly recommend anyone coming to the area stays here, you won’t regret it and you’ll have a great time! Make sure you book a room with Sea View!

Honestly we have no complaints. Bring comfy shoes as the area is very mountainous and you will be walking up and down steep hills but it’s the price you pay for the absolute breath taking beauty of the area.

Located on road spur on outskirts of Gythio. Corner of road spur has a bakery on opposite side of the road. We had room #5 above the ground floor. On outskirts of Gythio. Drive to village for more restaurants and waterfront street. Large room with small kitchenette room. FANTASTIC wide area sea views from room sliding door and balcony with chairs snd table. Wonderful room darkening patio door shutter. Parking at the site. Very clean and quiet. Easy 5 minute walk to small central Mavrovouni with two restaurants. Also small essentials food store on walk to small village plaza. Nice friendly owner couple make you feel at home. Owner couple live in the same building. A number of friendly cats roaming outside that the owners care for. On edge of small Gythio we visited fenced but visible 2000 year old unrestored Roman theatre. Fun to see a fairly intact ruin without extensive rebuilding that we have seen elsewhere in Europe. Quiet room and exterior location. Peaceful. Great hosts.

Everything was great. The view was spectacular. They now have a restaurant up the street and the food is wonderful. They gave us a contact for a fish/swim/lunch private boat trip, then they grilled the fish from our boat trip at their restaurant that night. Laundry service provided for a small fee. Great bakery down the street. A true holiday.

We fell in love with this place. Stayed for one night initially but then decided to spend the rest of our holiday here (3 days). Spectacular view from the balcony - we spent our evenings and mornings just admiring the sea. Watched the sunrise. Watched the starts in he evening. listened to the sound of waves while falling asleep. The hosting family is super nice and welcoming, gave us good recommendations for places to eat. We managed to drop one of our wedding rings from the balcony, and when we asked the owners to keep an eye on it, they even helped us to find it eventually. Good facilities, newly furnished, comfy bed. The attention to detail is on another level - there was not only soap and shower gel dispensers, but also coffee, herbal tea, sugar available in the kitchenette and even some anti-mosquito repellents. A small separate sun terrace with a recliner on the sunny side of the house. Everything was super clean, the staff made sure that every day even all the faucets were shiny clean. Good parking space, although a bit steep. But you can also leave your car just outside of the property. A big Thank You to he family running the place, we are determined to come back!

We had to leave the studios and Gythio at some point

The property has a beautiful landscape very inviting. The rooms are modern, clean and have all necessary items for your stay. We stayed for 10 days, 3 local tavernas a 10 minute walk , a supermarket.A cute garden cafe just down the road and a bigger supermarket. The nearby beach just 10 minute walk with clean, clear water. It does get deep fast but suitable for all ages. Gytheio, a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive with shopping, tons of restaurants, bakeries and cafes. The property owners are friendly and are available on site. The cleaning staff are amazing, they go above and beyond.
