Everything! The location, rooms, and views were beautiful. Upon arrival, Mihaela greeted us and showed us to our room. The service from there was outstanding. Breakfast was a huge assortment of local foods as well as traditional options. The staff at the restaurant were professional, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. Georgios, Dimitris, Socrates, Dimitra, Paolina, Pierres, and Alexandra went above and beyond. The cleaning staff was very efficient- the rooms were cleaned by the time we got done with breakfast. Mavrovouni beach is beautiful and relaxing, as well as the garden and pool area. I loved the authenticity of the hotel and will definitely be back next year!

Everything was perfect!

In our opinion, this is one of the best hotels we have ever visited. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail to ensure a comfortable stay. Excellent architectural and planning solution. The management is beyond praise. Absolutely stunning staff: at the restaurant, at the reception, cleaners, gardeners. Large room with the large balcony and large bathroom. Every day cleaning and bed linen changing. Comfortable bed. Very good restaurant with good selection of delicious dishes (much better than in the city), with a wonderful atmosphere, affordable prices. The restaurant is open almost all day. The pool bar has a good selection of cocktails. As soon as you settle down by the pool , the bar staff brins you water. There are many sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach. Everything is perfect clean. Amazing!

Everything was great

We liked everything about the hotel. The location was excellent for us. It is located on the beach, about 10 minutes drive from Gythio. It is very quiet. All you hear is the waves. The staff were very service oriented. The rooms and the public areas were very clean. Excellent breakfast, with freashly squeezed orange juice, eggs and coffee per order, and a rich buffet. There is ample parking inside the hotel grounds. A beautiful beach with chairs and umbrellas for the use of the customers. We also had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant, which was a refreshing change from the tourist restaurants in nearby Gythio. Overall, a highly recommended hotel

Quite a lot of stairs to reach the rooms. The staff helped with the luggage at check-in and check-out, but it is not suitable for people with accessibility issues.

Modern but old stone look to buildings. Good pool and outside space and easy access to beach/sea. Nicely located in a more peaceful spot just outside Gytheion. Friendly and helpful staff. If you wanted to "flop and drop" there's everything to hand: even a bar and restaurant on site. You can see a lot of thought and effort has been made in creating the hotel.

Make sure you get an upper floor room. We experienced a lot of noise from other people's use of their bathroom. Plus our room felt a bit dark and cool inside. Very extensive and generous range of breakfast choices on offer. But all on demand from a menu. Maybe allow buffet type access to guests for the cold stuff and pastries, and just serve hot drinks and dishes on order to the table. Sort of felt you had to make your mind up for everything all at once.

A wonderful resort just 10 min drive from Gytheo. We really enjoyed the amenities here, a great pool, lovely grassy seating area under the trees, and the beach with sun loungers and umbellas. The staff were very kind, always bringing us waters wherever we sat and they served a great breakfast by the pool. You can choose what you like from their menu. Very comfortable bed and spacious room with a cute little balcony and sea view. Overall we had a very relaxing stay and could not have asked for anything better! Thank you all so much!

Just a tip, the hot water takes quite a while to come. Turn the tap to the left and let it run for 3-5 min. Once it comes it is nice and hot!

A nice reasonably spacious room and small view of the sea. Beds were comfortable with good quality linen. The hotel is modern and the garden and pool area was attractive. Breakfast and restaurant was OK. Great parking area. Wi-Fi worked well. Hotel is located well out of town, so you need a car. Fantastic access to the beach.

Breakfast was a menu where you can order up to 15 items per person. Each item is served separately so you end up with far too many plates and bowls on your table. We had dinner and lunch in the restaurant on one occasion - was fairly average. The room has a hard heavy wooden couch, uncomfortable to sit on. Our bathroom sink had a small leak so the cupboard space underneath couldn't be used for toiletries. We alerted reception but the leak did not get fixed. The room has a loft, but there is no seating or daybed in the loft so the space can't be used.

The stay here was hugely enjoyable and there is nothing to fault. The architecture of the rooms in the local Mani style is very pleasing. The room of a good size was well appointed and spotless. Breakfast was of the highest quality and there was a very good selection. The restaurant served excellent meals at very reasonable prices. And the staff were without fail of the highest standard - exemplary in the performance of their duties - cheerful and efficient. Good car parking. Easy access to the beach and a nice pool.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night during a road trip. The staff was extremly friendly and helpful, the room clean and lovely and the sea-view from the balcony definitelly does the trick. Walking to the sandy beach outside is just 10 meters. Really great.

Breakfast is served by waiters ( = it's nit a free buffet where you pick items to your own plate). You get a menu, then you choose items from this menu and then the items are delivered to your table. If you want anything else - same drill again. It's not bad, just time cinsuming. I prefer a buffet....

Everything. Comfortable, large, spotless room with a lovely covered stone balcony. Wonderful, attentive staff and beautiful grounds. You can hang out by the pool, curl up with a book or take a nap under the mulberry trees in the garden or spend the day at the beach. Umbrellas and lounge chairs were always available and they even had a staff member come by periodically to wipe the sand off the chairs. The wind does pick up and the water can get choppy in the afternoon. Great for windsurfing though.

Not a dislike but more a word of caution: The rooms are on various levels and the ones on the top floor have quite a few stairs. Three flights of stone steps lead to the upper rooms presenting a challenge to anyone with mobility issues. While the architecture of the hotel is part of its charm make sure you check how many stairs are involved if you are travelling with someone who is elderly or may have difficulty climbing stairs. I should note that the hotel quickly moved us into a more accessible room when we asked and sent a staff member to move our bags.

We fell in love with this place! It's charming, beautiful, comfortable, great atmosphere, quiet elegance. The room was spacious and comfortable and very aesthetic. We were thrilled that the porch doors and windows had screens to keep the bugs away, which we haven't seen in many places in Greece. Nicoletta and all the staff are kind, warm and helpful. Breakfast is excellent!! Guests are served rich and varied menus, from which you can choose anything and everything, and it's all delicious and fresh. Their dinner restaurant is also very good. And - the beach it is on is stunning and quite and hotel guests have free sunbeds and umbrellas. Gythio with it's many delicious taverns is a short drive away. It's a great base for exploring Mani or just to relax and never want to leave.

We could have used an electric kettle in the room for making tea and a coffee machine would have been great as well. For such a fine hotel I would also expect Conditioner and Lotion and not just Shampoo and soap. Bring your own and come anyway.
