Interesting history. Fantastic, informative hostess who spoke good English. The printout and brochure were a big help also. Great wifi. Cooling breeze off the ocean when we were there. Access to our rooms was flat. Could park next to the patio. We were in a new section but it was similar to the old section in terms of architecture and colours. Next time we’d stay in the original Mill room to experience the authenticity of that. Situated close to Diros caves, pottery shops. Five-8 minute drive to Areopoli where evening strolling is a must on the little streets closed to traffic. Super ambience with many little eateries and shops. Loved it! Streets to the castle are understandably extremely narrow and crooked but not steep.

Need to hand wash clothes but they dry quickly on rack outside. Need GPS to find the place and ours didn’t always work.

We originally booked a room in the historic castle, but the hostess encouraged us to look at two rooms. The room in the castle felt old and original and would have been a good experience for one night, but with low ceilings and no windows we would not have enjoyed it for three nights. We stayed in a larger apartment with kitchen, living area and separate bedroom, which was new but built in the same style. It was extremely comfortable and very quiet since we were the only ones on the property for the first two nights.

The most beautiful place! Attention to detail, extremely clean, amazing location with lovely views. We had booked only 2 nights while visiting Mani, but we wished we had more time there. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we could need. Dimitra is the most excellent host with an exceptional attention to customers, a very very nice lady, with a warm smile, professional and empathic. We had booked a 2 bedroom tower accomodation. Dimitra showed us what we had booked: really charactieristic and beautiful, but she explained that maybe it was not ideal for 5 people, so she had also prepared an alternative solution for us so we may choose what was was best for us. That was really a splendid gesture. All in all our stay was above and beyond expectations.

The place was gorgeous and beautiful. A person was waiting for us at our arrival which was attentive.

- We booked 2 nights but the cleaning wasn’t done in between the 2 days - breakfast was 12 euro per person and wasn’t that great - They had some Greek coffee in the room but no milk cups in the fridge. - the water is very hot in the shower and you can get burned if you touch the faucet. (We got burned and the shower head is right beside)

I loved the architecture, surroundings and local products offered at the castle. Mrs Kaiti was very welcoming and assisted us with everything we needed. If you want to relax in the evening, I strongly recommend the property itself for a drink, top!

Lack of privacy in the room. We were 4 adults and in order to reach the bathroom, had to go through the our frineds' bedroom.

This place was really a gem. We were looking for a place in Mani and found this one -- a castle! Who wouldn't want to spend a few days in a castle? The place exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful, extremely well-kept (with a lot of love, I may add), very clean, and really not lacking in anything. We did not stay in the castle but chose a new addition to the property as it has a huge terrace. It has a full kitchen, a stunning view, a big bedroom and a living area, and an extremely comfortable bed that is sure to give you sweet dreams. Breakfast was optional with extra pay -- essentially everything was made from their own produce, and everything was delicious. The village is near the famous Dirou caves (a must-see), several beaches, and other attractions in the area. We felt so happy being there and will definitely return. Highly recommended.

Absolutely nothing!

Location is beautiful, room itself was gorgeous. Kitchen was amazing for cooking. Spacious bathroom and great shower. Bed was like a heavenly cloud! I need one like that at home! The lovely lady running the place is so sweet and friendly and helped us out with everything we needed, she's an absolute gem. One of my favourite stays ever.

I can't think of a single thing that could be better. It was lovely.

Cleverly renovated historic tower complex that combined modern amenities and comfort with a traditional Mani fortress house. My ground floor room was larger than expected, and the unexpected bonus of a washing machine in the bathroom meant I could do my washing after a week of travelling. I only stayed one night, but the small, well equipped kitchen would be great if I was staying for a few days and using it as a base for exploring the region. Worth paying for breakfast, a good spread of local and homemade produce.

Amazing historic building, very clean, fully equipped. All the personnel was attentive, especially Dimitra who knows how to make things right!

Everything was great!

Great opportunity to stay in a Mani tower house / Castle. Apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Loved the washing machine and outside Court yard. We arrived a little early and were able to check in and warmly welcomed by our hosts.

It’s a little way out of town or a village so you need a car to explore or go to the beach or a restaurant but a great base to travel around the Mani, the Caves of Diros, etc.
