A Perfect Stay at Margo Beach Hotel – Thanks to Theimios! Our stay at Margo Beach Hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish. I visited with my parents-in-law, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful surroundings, spotless facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere that made our vacation truly special. A special thank you to Theimios, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with any request we had. His warm hospitality made us feel welcome and truly taken care of. From the comfortable rooms to the delicious food and excellent service, everything at Margo Beach Hotel exceeded our expectations. Excellent location and a spacious, comfortable apartment. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a nice that umbrellas and beach towels are available.

There was a persistent unpleasant smell in the hotel throughout our 3-day stay. While our overall stay was enjoyable, the hotel didn’t quite live up to the high nightly rate, mostly due to small but noticeable maintenance and amenity issues—such as a non-functional shower head, improperly hung curtains, and limited breakfast options. These are minor issues individually, but at this price point, I would expect better attention to detail.

The location was perfect, right on the beach. The room was spacious and so comfortable that I could easily stay for a month or even more. The mattress was fantastic and I slept really well. Breakfast was also very good.

The kitchen, although new and spacious, was not well equipped, so it wasn’t really possible to prepare a proper meal. The cleaning service was okay — the staff were very polite — but the overall quality could have been better.

Lovely staff. Very nice breakfast making sure everyone is satisfied. Nice welcoming wine Very roomy place- two large bedrooms and a very large living room. Nice gardening outside the apparment (but if there were some herbals for tea instead of the lavender it would be even better)

The wi-fi died for long whiles, twice. Eventually it was fixed on the second evening. Not a real seaview room. Some minimal seaview from one small window and from the outside terrace on the common area. The utencils in the apparment are not all that practicle (there is frying pan but no cooking spoon or spatula, generous wine gift but no corkscrew, etc.)

The property was beautiful the grounds amazing the walk to the beach very short. The beach was organized and there was beach bar and regular food fare offered at a reasonable price and great quality. The salads here are amazing.

There is no signage where to drop off your luggage. Otherwise, you wrongfully park in the large lot that belongs to the adjacent property that has a pool. It would be helpful if there was a sign where it was conspicuously posted to direct travelers to the right destination to drop off luggage.

The beachfront location, the peace and tranquility of the property as a whole, the attractive design to the development making each studio apartment quite unique and again each with separate outdoor terraces. The helpful staff, and the lovely breakfast/restaurant terrace. The bar, below the terrace, remained opened all day but our visit being September meant it closed at 8pm and restaurant closed at 7pm. Ample and excellent restaurants are available in Gytheio nearby. The whole stay felt very calm and the beach is a Blue Flag Beach

The restaurant and bar early closing times meant you had to go out to eat. We were told by management that there were tavernas a good walk down the beach but it is a beach with a road over it, no lighting and not necessarily the type of hotel experience that some might wish for. Also outside the entrance is a roadside/terrace by the bar which should be tidied up.

Margo Beach is a modern hotel with spacy and comfortable suites, well thought and well equipped. The personnel is very professional and friendly. The hotel has a restaurant, but if you want you can use the kitchenette facilities in your suite. A supermarket is just 10 min by foot (or 2 min by car).

The breakfast was really nice, not a huge variety but everything was well made and tasty. The staff were welcoming, accommodating and polite. The room was clean and the double bed super comfortable. I would definitely go back to the hotel

The architecture of the hotel might be difficult for people with mobility issues since most of the rooms can be reached only via several sets of stairs. We didn't mind but if stairs are not your thing you will have to make sure to get a room near the reception

I don't have a single negative thing to say. Staff was not only friendly, but went above and beyond "normal" customer service. The rooms were quiet, roomy, clean, and had everything we needed. The location was amazing! My child also has dietary restrictions and they were proactive with providing food that met this need following my comments through booking.com - without me having to ask at the desk.

The only thing that might have been better would be having a rack to dry wet items (swimming clothes, towels, etc.).

We were family of 5. The rooms we large. The Hotel complex is very beautiful. Breakfast is nice. The hotel has private beach. It is few meters from the hotel and very quiet and pleasant. It has a lot of space and privacy.

You need a car to get to Gythio - takes about 5 minutes. The equipment in the room are simple.
