The Pantheon City Hotel was a beautiful place to stay. Centrally located, right on the water, the view from our junior suite was gorgeous. The room itself was spotlessly clean and extremely spacious. Walking distance to everything in Gytheio, we were able to easily try the many excellent restaurants in town; loving seafood, every meal we had was of excellent quality and the grilled octopus a standout. The staff at the Pantheon were welcoming , knowledgeable and we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in the area and we would defy stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A clean and modern design overall, with big lounge area in lobby. Excellent location midway along the road beside the main harbour, which is lined with restaurants/ice cream parlours/coffee shops and bars, and only 5 minutes walk to the main shopping streets in Gythio. Staff very friendly and welcoming, and allowed us to leave luggage in safe storage area as we arrived earlier than the check-in time. Lovely room, good size, comfortable bed with excellent lighting and wonderful shower. Fridge and kettle. Very spacious covered balcony with superb view of the harbour. A bonus to have a lift!

Hotel location and view from the large balcony is just superb! Balcony is perfect for enjoying the Greek vibes. The hotel is facing the water and you can see sunrise from your window. The rooms are modern and clean, not big but the space of the balcony and the view levels this much. Breakfast was also nice, especially local pastry (we travelled during Christmas time and were offered a lot of local Christmas pastry and confectionery for breakfast). Apart from this the standard assortment of meals was present during breakfast as well. Nearby you can find a lot of taverns with delicious food and nice promenade.

If you travel by car, just take into account that the public parking is on the street and in high season most probably there might be difficult to park right near the hotel.

Loved the deep mostly private balcony with view over the sea. Lovely to enjoy a drink and/or takeout meal al fresco. Room was comfortable but more compact than expected from description. Service varied from polished in evening to brusque at checkout.

Workmen started on room next door at 8 in the morning. Toned it down when they noticed us on the balcony but a little disruptive.

A good sized, bedroom and bathroom with a balcony overlooking the harbour. Everywhere was exceptionally clean. Friendly helpful staff. I found the mattress on my bed to be very hard so I mentioned it to the receptionist and he arranged for a mattress topper to be added which made such a difference.

There's a lack of sound proofing so lots of noise from the corridor and other rooms.

The hotel has a prime location, with a new, well-maintained structure. The rooms we stayed in were spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The staff were attentive, very kind, and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced (€8 per person) considering what it offers. We loved our stay and definitely plan to return.

Pantheon hotel is located at the main street of Gythio, beside the sea. It has a view of the sea and the rest of the city (if you choose the front rooms with sea view and not the rooms with partial/side view of the sea). The staff is really friendly. Clean room that has a large double bed (as we requested) but with this big double bed this certain room seems to be not that big (but it ok for most couples) . Breakfast is good in order to get the energy you need to start the day. It has cereals, coffee, tea, eggs, omelets, cheese and ham, some fruits, marmalades and tahini, juice, bread and some more to choose. I would suggest you to choose the front rooms with the view of the sea including breakfast. Recommend this hotel if you visit Gythio.

Great location, right at the center of Gytheion, making everything very accessible. Sea view rooms were great and surprisingly quiet! Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was fine, but could have been better - more choices, including local products.

This is apparently where you stay when you are Greek and coming to Gytheion! So nice for family reunions in the lobby. However, we were not - but the location was great, we managed to find parking out the front (not sure if that is actually included or we were just lucky) and it was a great location. Nice room and balcony with a view across the promenade out to sea. Clean and all facilities including AC, hot water and shoer worked with comfy beds. It was good they could accommodate single beds, as mother and an adult son is an unusual combination. Smallish room, but very typical of such hotels and compares well for Greece. Affordable.

I can't fault the hotel - but in summer, the sun is unbearable on the balcony from early morning till afternoon! The staff were a little lack luster in enthusiasm - though were always there, which is nice.

We have stayed at the Pantheon three times before and stayed in rooms with sea views and part sea views which we were happy with,but this particular rooms view was very limited and despite the balcony being small but useable we couldn't use it because they did not have any chairs on it.so we feel we didn't get any benefit from paying for a room with a partial sea view which was only visible if you stood on the bed
