The hotel buffet food was some of the best that I have ever had. The food was fantastic. The Master Chef and his staff did such a great job cooking different items every day. The hotel spa was also well worth it. Spectacular sunsets.

The Half board does not allow free soda's, you have to pay for them if you want a soda at any of the bars. If you want all drinks, you will have to pay for all-inclusive. The hotel is not close to Rethimno. It was stormy weather so not much to do outside.

I loved the location right on the ocean. They upgraded me to a bungalow that had spectacular sea views, which I enjoyed immensely.

It was jam packed with people who just parked themselves by the pool or beach and kept their spot for the entire day. I was hoping to use the beach as well as the pools, but I had to stay put on the beach because there were no spots by the pool. It could also get loud with people partying by the pool. Also, the food served - cafeteria style - was okay, at best.

The best part of our stay was the staff! We got all the information we needed. Sometimes you could sense, that they were tired, but even then they were helpful beyond expectation. You need to make a reservation for dinner, in all 3 restaurants, but you can also enter without a reservation to the main restaurant (if it's not full). They have 3 main beaches for swimming, the one on the left was our favorite. But It was not so easy to find a free sunbed. Also 5 pools, 1 for kids and 1 inside-pool, which was not open during our stay. But main pool was enough for us. As It's described in its name, view was insane!

Despite being told not to reserve the sunbeds, there are still many guests who are reserving them and returning within an hour or more. The rooms looked older than the general hotel and the soundproofing was very poor. You could hear the sounds of talking and flush from the next room.

Everything about it was exceptional. The surroundings full of nature. The palm trees everywhere. The cleanness. The choice of food. The location beside the sea.

No provision of an iron , which I thought that was a bit off to pay extra money for the laundrette to iron for people. The spa (sauna and jacuzzi) guests have to pay extra to use them. Some Iberostar hotels eg in Marbella and Marlloca , the spa could be accessed by anyone. There are water activities, such as water gym but a physical gym should be present for those guests you can’t use the pool as the gym.

-the cleanliness of the rooms, pools, restaurants. -clean, modern bathroom. -we also appreciated a lot the staff, very courteous, helpful and friendly. -a lot of options for breakfast, lunch, dinner. -the fact that there is a minimarket at the resort. -the fact that there is a bus stop just outside the hotel and car rental options at the hotel (we chose Arkadi and everything went smoothly). -it is a calm resort with a lot of greenery surrounding it, perfect to hide from the sun. The outside is magnificent and well maintained.

-the furniture in the rooms (wardrobe, desk, nightstand, chairs, sofa) and in the lobby (sofas) are in a dire need of a change. Old and not comfortable. Ancient safe. Ancient key system. -poor sound insulation in the rooms. -carton orange juice for breakfast was a big disappointment. Instant coffee at the coffee machines instead of using coffee grains, another disappointment for a 4* hotel. -despite the fact that clients are asked not to reserve sunbeds, there were people placing their towels early in the morning, especially at the coves where there are limited sunbeds anyway.

Food was very oily The water they served tasted bad The food labels do not show the whole ingredients list, and some of the dishes didn’t have any label - that makes it hard for people with different allergies to find proper dishes. - I had to talk to the chef at every meal

The resort deserves 5 stars! Huge beautiful territory, very clean and well maintained. Well organized facilities! Lagoons are not naturally made, but very well designed and make their job. No waves at any sea state and the water is crystal clean at all the times. The food is at the good level! Always fresh and tasty with lots of varieties… Maine restaurant offers different international cuisine for the dinner. Good alcoholic drinks for all inclusive, with the known brands and proper amount of alcohol! The staff is fabulous! Always smiling, always friendly and makes the guest feel special. Ready to help with any descent or the smallest issue. Animation is at the high level! Fluent at many languages and every evening you could expect to be entertained by comic show, concert, dance show or a fire show… Safe and free of charge private parking. Stunning sea view from nearly every part of resort!!!

After check out and disappointment with another 5-star hotel couldn’t come back, as they were already overbooked!!! :( For sure will come back when visiting Crete.

The staff is the best! We have been spoiled by the hotel staff; they are truly exceptional. The room, the location, the hotel facilities, the beach, the shows, and the variety of food in the main restaurant are all fantastic

Perhaps the beach chairs are always occupied; guests leave their towels on them all day, even if they are not there. Therefore, we only went to the beach in the afternoon, which is better because the sun is not too hot at that time. We didn't use the swimming pools because they were crowded; instead, we used the smaller one for kids. We would have preferred to have a greater variety of beef cuts.

Our stay here was out of a movie. Just after we arrived we were welcomed with a glass of champagne, a red rose for my wife and some chocolate from the house. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to the room we booked. We got a very nice bungalow with an incredible view. They remembered it was my wife’s birthday and we got an amazing dinner at the A la carte restaurant with more roses, an entire bottle of champagne and they got my wife a cake and sang her Happy birthday at the end of the night. The beaches and the surroundings of the property are just amazing, very beautiful. The food was very very good and you had a lot of options. All in all an incredible and perfect vacation. The only thing we regret is not having booked more days there. We will definitely come back.

1. One of the. best stays so far. We traveled with 11 month baby. The staff always comunicated with baby, asked how are we doing if everything ok. Thay always were very polite helpful and comunicable. We felt very special and happy. 2.The food was amazing, few different kinds of fresh cheese, yogurt, boiled vegetables, different kinds of fish, meat. A lot of fresh fruits topings and desserts. Everyone can find something tasty and fresh 3. The hotel teritory is huge, many places to sit down and watch at the see, different areas to eat, many activities (at the pool, bar, live music at the restaurant...) . You can spend all day at the hotel and still find something new.
