Beautiful hotel with lovely staff. Our room was huge. We had the superior as it was the only room left, but awesome! The breakfast was amazing. The hotel is close to everything and there is a municipal parking lot across the street for easy parking. A wonderful place to come home to.

There was some street noise in our room but that can't be avoided for the location. Mostly it was just people talking outside the windows (on the early side) and the occaisional motorbike. The bed was a little uncofomfortable I'd advise the hotel get some memory foam toppers or new mattresses from Ikea. :)

Everything to like about this hotel. The rooms are lovely and the staff are exceptional, accommodating and friendly. The lounge area is a lovely place to sit and chill too. Situated so close to the harbour and there's a municipal car park just outside. We had to leave early for our ferry back to the mainland and the owner had made us cloud doughnuts for breakfast specially. So thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Ithaca

There wasn't anything to dislike.

Great location. A few minutes’ walk to waterfront and numerous good tavernas. Hotel is in a beautifully-converted old building. Formerly an olive press. A very warm welcome from staff/owners at the hotel. A great breakfast, with delicious home-made jams, savoury pastries, cakes etc. Hospitality at it’s best. They clearly wanted you to enjoy your stay.

The room was small, but had everything you needed. It would have been nicer to have had a larger double bed (was standard size), but is still represented good value for money.

The facility was beautiful renovated and especially liked bathrooms and the patio for breakfast. The location was fabulous, and the three generations of women running it made me feel a part of the family.

As this building was originally a renovated olive oil press, there aren’t many external windows on the walls. I didn’t notice, or care. There are so many skylights, making it bright and airy. I was outside for most of the three days enjoying the many things to do. Overall the building was interesting and comfortable.

literally EVERYTHING. the people are very nice and friendly, they even made me a small lunch box when I had to leave the Island early in the morning! the location was PERFECT, very close to the Vathy port and a plethora of restaurants.

as a whole it was very clean, just two spots weren't as much. one of the mirrors had dark spots on it and the wooden blinds at the window had some weird amber-like things on the outside.

When we first arrived I was a little worried that due to the location (in the centre of Vathy) it may be noisy, however it was surprisingly quiet. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The courtyard was very quant and cool The staff were friendly and even offered us a snack when we arrived. I would definitely stay there again

Excellent location one row back from the harbour. All the staff/owners were cheerful, helpful and nothing was too much. Highlight was the spotlessly clean bedroom and bathroom, many people will mention the breakfast, It was a pleasure to be told about all the delicious offerings, all freshly made, exceptional experience, completely happy

Oh my, where to begin! Family-run Familia Hotel totally exceeded our expectations.. Initially we booked our stay for 2 nights, but we ended staying for an extra third night because we just did not want to move our base in Ithaka. Shortly: we felt extremely welcomed from the first minute, had the best sleep during our 2 weeks Kefallonia + Ithaka trip in Familia Hotel + also the location is perfect, the breakfast very fresh and variable, all the staff are absolutely genuine, friendly and humble. Our warmest recommendations and greetings to Familia Hotel, thank you SO much Chrtistina and Co! Hopefully we will have the chance to visit again soon!

I enjoyed my short stay at the Familia Hotel very much. It's in a great location, located in the centre of Vathi very close to the many shops, restaurants and cafés in the area. The rooms are very comfortable, convenient, clean and well-appointed, and the breakfast provided was excellent and of top quality. Check-in was a breeze and the staff were very forthcoming, welcoming and helpful. I had a great stay!

The hotel itself is very charming, beautiful design, nice patio/breakfast space, perfect location. Very attentive hosts/ staff. Especially the handsome man who guessed all of our needs- coffee, ice for wine etc. It's quite rare that you don't need to ask for everything yourself. Fabulous.
