Everyone who worked in hotel were friendly, helpful and serviceminded. Breakfast was good and served until 10.30. Free bicycles you could lend. Parking for car at backside - not gated but ok. Bathroom and shower was excellent! Hotel was not far from the beach and restaurants. 👍

There was no air-conditioning as all rooms has a joined air ventilation. In October it only operated in heating function. As it was very warm it got quite warm in room 26-27+. You had to open the window in the evening to cool the room but then the road noise became a problem. Even with windows closed you could hear the road but with ear plugs it was possible to sleep. There was a make up mirror in the bathroom that couldn't be used as it was placed to high up. Only persons 1,80 and higher can use this mirror.

The hotel room was amazing. Very clean and comfortable. The WiFi and aircon worked perfectly. The staff were excellent. Very kind, polite, helpful and hospitable. The breakfast was fantastic. A lot of variety everyday. The pool was great. Kids loved it and so did we. Car parking was easy and always available at the property. I highly recommend staying here. I would come back and stay here again. Great value.

Everything was perfect nothing negative.

The staff here are just fantastic - friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. We have stayed here a number of times before and the chef deserves a special mention. She came out at breakfast time to explain to us what everything was and even brought a couple of portions of Bougatsa to our table which we hadn't asked for. She didn't know that Bougatsa is my favourite Greek pastry so I was very happy with this! Her fried eggs are excellent - always a good test - as were the savoury pastries.

Centrally located within minutes to the beach or into town, Garden City Resort was the perfect place for our stay in Kalamata. Wonderful facilities, friendly staff, and an exceptional breakfast, this was the perfect place to stay, relax and enjoy what Kalamata has to offer. The staff were lovely, attentive and provided us with wonderful recommendations and assistance throughout our stay. We cannot fault anything.

We stayed only one night. Everything was good, 3 rooms, a bedroom, a bath and a living room (we had to put the open suitcase in the living room (not unpacking for one night), because in the bedroom was not sufficient space). For a 5 star hotel it was comparatively cheap (it rather feels like a 4 than a five star hotel, maybe because the SPA and gym facilities were closed, but would have been opened on request (we were there first week of June)), so price performance ratio was good. Breakfast was great, a big variety of "stuff" to put on a bread, eggs, vegetables, fruits etc.. Private parking is provided directly at the hotel.

The environment where the hotel is located is ok as it's only about a 250 meters walk from the sea, but it isn't the nicest environment.

Location was 4 blocks off the harbor and very quiet. Parking in the Garden City lot and secure. We were in a 6 ending room and was facing rear and was very quiet. We looked forward to breakfast and were never disappointed. Maria served breakfast and was responsive and helpful. The hotel was modern and clean, We would go back again. Pantos was the night clerk and if he is not busy and you have time, ask him to talk about olives. And be sure to try the 12* Metaxa.

What an absolute gem of a hotel in Kalamata, wonderful room, very clean and comfortable, excellent staff, very friendly and helpful, superb breakfast with great parking and a good location. We could not fault this hotel or its staff, an exceptional stay, good location for the sea front, and about a 30 minute walk into central Kalamata and the historical centre, plenty of coffee places and eateries within walking distance. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Kalamata, and we will definitely book here again if its available.

enjoyed the breakfast, and pool. we also played some of their board games with our kids (7 + 9) at the pool. You could easily walk to a beach and a few restaurants, but we always drove to the main square. Easy parking available.

I would consider this hotel to be a 5-star hotel. I understand Europe has a different system, but this is a 4-star property
