I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. I asked to change my room for personal reasons, and although I made the request in the evening, the staff kindly arranged everything and moved me the next morning without any issue. They were very cooperative and understanding. The staff are truly wonderful—always polite and ready to help. At breakfast, I was touched by their attention to detail and kindness. They noticed that I drink tea every morning, and from then on, they prepared it for me as soon as they saw me coming. This thoughtful gesture made me feel very welcomed and well taken care of. Overall, I really appreciated the excellent service and the staff’s professionalism combined with their warm attitude. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay with genuinely caring people.

I really liked that beach towels were provided. The bathroom had nice toiletries. The breakfast was delicious. The room and location were great. There was a beautiful view from the restaurant during breakfast and dinner.

We were very disappointed to find out later that two 0.5L bottles of water, a can of Coke, and a can of Fanta in the minibar were charged. There was no price listed on the miniba or near it. In addition I have to mention that everywhere else in Greece, water in rooms is always free in hotels. Here, they charge for it. Also we were very suprised that only one coffee is free at breakfast.

we had room 310 which was a large corner room sea facing. it had a huge balcony overlooking the marina and sea. room was very spacious, comfortable bed ( with extra pillows available), tea and coffee facilities and a payable mini bar where we could also store our drinks. free safe included. beach towels are provided free every day. breakfast was nice - usual Greek breakfast including some hot offerings and provided in the loft bar overlooking the sea. location perfect for local restaurants and bars.

when we booked it was advertised as free sunbeds on the adjacent beach. this was however only available on our first day as the hotel dismantled everything on day 2. at no point during booking or even checking in was it mentioned that this was going to be the case. noticeably it was the only hotel during our short stay to remove this service. When it was there during higher season it was ideal including a beach attendant who would also organise drinks. also the shower in the room has fluctuating temperature sometimes almost scalding hot. this was not due to other taps running in the room. So you should be careful especially if you have children.

The big advantage of this hotel is terrace on the highest floor. The breakfast view was amazing. Also staff and choice of food. Its location is great, close to many bars, restaurants and beach clubs, bus stop is nearby.

Our room was under the kitchen so early in the morning it was a bit noisy and one day something fall out here and woke us up. Hotel has its own beach but nothing special. It’s also attended by locals so sometimes you can’t find any place. And of course some hotel guests are putting towels early in the morning - stupid people. The floor in the room would be cleaned better.

The hotel is well positioned to quickly reach the Kalamata beach, and even has its own private area on the beach with free seats and towels for guests. Overall clean, good facilities, with very friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous panoramic view on the roof terrace where a decently varied breakfast is served. Good soundproofing and air conditioning.

The bathtub shower position and water shielding could be improved for increased comfort. The noise outside the window can get a bit loud in the evening due to the road traffic and nearby children's play area, but is mittigated by good soundproofing when closing the balcony door. Fairly quiet area outside evenings.

Pharae hotel exceeded my expectation. Excellent location. 50 m to the beach. Hotel has its own territory on the beach with umbrellas, beach towels at the reception. Sea at the hotel is clear and warm. You could spend all the day on the beach. Room was very good, everything worked properly. Stuff was very polite and welcoming, help with everything. Breakfast was tasty and good. The best thing about breakfasts that it was on the roof of the hotel with excellent view on gulf. Arround the hotel are plenty of cafes and restaurants. 15 minutes walking to the Kalamata center, You can always find a parking space around the hotel for free I will definately choose this hotel when next time visit Kalamata

My stay at the hotel was excellent. We were 3 people: myself, my wife, and our young child (<2 years old). The hotel is renovated, clean, and offers excellent food. It is located in a very central spot, on the beach of Kalamata. Despite the location and the presence of many bars, restaurants and entertainment venues, once you close the balcony door, you hardly hear anything, so you can sleep relatively undisturbed. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. The facilities were also excellent, with a small improvement needed for the bathtub. The breakfast is excellent (10/10) and is served at the Loft, a wonderful space with a beautiful view, where you can also have your meal or drink. Finally, the staff was very polite and helpful.

The balcony door can only be locked from the inside, so we, who wanted to stay a bit outside on the balcony at night while our little child slept inside, found it very difficult to manage. The room was quite spacious, but adding a third bed in a double room limited the space and made it difficult to open the balcony door.

Absolutely great breakfast with delicious Messinian corner!! Exceptional evening restaurant with delicious food, great staff, and the best view in town! Very comfortable bed and good aircondition! Great people at the reception…always a friendly and heartly helping hand and informative… Would definitely recommend to friends and family, and return to Pharae Palace when travelling to Kalamata again…

Only minuspoint with our stay was the shower in the bathroom. Two towels needed to soak up the water on the floor…The shower door in the bath should definitely be better sealed…

Large room with corner balcony, wonderful views. Responsive desk staff. Great bathroom with tub. Although above busy beachfront street, closed balcony door shut out noise -- which in October was not overwhelming. Also, the amusement area across from the hotel was not in heavy use, partially closed. Parking easy, again perhaps due to season. Easy walk to harbor, many restaurants. Great breakfast room in rooftop restaurant.
