The staff were exceptionally friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed, from directions to local recommendations. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed and a beautiful view from the balcony. The location of the hotel was perfect, quite enough to relax. The meals was another highlight: fresh, tasty, and with a wide variety of options each day. Everything was well organized, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and calm. I truly enjoyed my stay and would happily return in the future. Highly recommended!

The bed was incredibly comfortable, the view breathtaking, and the décor a perfect blend of modern style and cozy elegance. Breakfast was delicious and varied, featuring both local specialties and international options, all served in a beautiful, light-filled setting that made for a relaxing start to each day. The shared spaces, such as the pool and lounge area, were equally impressive – ideal for unwinding at any time. The location was perfect – close to key attractions, yet peaceful enough to truly relax. This is definitely a place I’ll be visiting again and one I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a high-quality hospitality experience.

We drove from Athens and spent four days at Sunrise Beach. The hotel is a bit dated giving late 80s vibes, but very pleasant overall. All staff very friendly and polite. A good mix of guests (as in couples/families, older/younger, French/Polish/British/Greek). Good sized swimming pool which we did not really use, but it looked clean and busy. We used the large private beach instead, which was not that busy. The sea was clean but might be a bit too deep/rough for smaller children. Nice mature gardens leading to the shore. The rooms were spacious and everything worked as expected. New air conditioning units, which is very important during July/August in this part of Greece. Bathroom/ shower room spacious and clean. Room clean overall, and the cleaning ladies very nice and polite. Buffet breakfast was very good with a variety of options. Spread over three hours (essentially 7-10am) which gives a relaxed vibe as guests do not need to rush. The only occasional queue was at the coffee machines or kids waiting for their pancakes to be made fresh. All the young girls and boys that work at the restaurant area and very efficient, polite and helpful. We booked B&B only but most other guests were half/full board with wristbands. On the first day we paid for dinner coupons (€15pp) which was also buffet, again spread over three hours (7-10pm). For that low price at an all inclusive our expectations were low, but we were pleasantly surprised: the food was actually very good. Wide selection of many dishes and desserts, most of which were quite tasty. We ended up having dinner at the hotel every day of our stay, as the children liked it and we were all too tired to drive in the heat after a day of doing nothing.

The only thing I found annoying was the occasional rubbish on the beach. Not necessarily a reflection on the hotel, but rather the guests that left their plastic cups and/or cigarette butts behind.

We were very pleased with our stay because the hotel offers great value for money, with comfortable rooms, excellent service, and a prime location right on the beach. The property is well-maintained, with beautiful gardens and a nice pool area. The beach was clean and not crowded, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful vacation. The breakfast offered a good selection, and we loved the fresh, local ingredients used in the meals. This hotel is a great choice for anyone looking to unwind by the sea.

It's clear that maintenance is a hard task for the staff given that the grounds are so large. For example at the beach you'll find reaped or rotten sunbeds, there will be stained walls/floors and if your balcony at the top floor doesn't have a roof, it will be full of bat guano overnight that wont necessarily be cleaned the next day by staff.

If you're looking for a quiet retreat in Messinia, the Sunrise Village Beach Hotel is the place to go. I loved every moment. The hotel's location is idyllic, surrounded by nature and right on the beach. My room was well-appointed and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and complimentary water bottles. What was not to like! I've stayed in many hotels all over the world and sunrise village comes at the top of my list. It had a sense of tranquility due to spreading of rooms despite having many guests. The food was superb and with amptin variety you normally find in expensive restaurants. Staff were very efficient and polite. Cleaning staff came daily and were very discrete. There is a open air theater and live entertainment. There is a daily kids party by the small pool to keep.their patents happy as.well.
