The staff at the hotel are a key highlight, they were consistently lovely and created a happy and positive atmosphere every day. The location is stunning and the rooms are gorgeous and the vibe around the main pool was great fun.

The DJ's in the evening were quite boring and repetitive, just random beats that you would expect in a rave rather than songs or remixes, and the beats were so loud that you could still hear them in your room, which wasn't ideal. Also, the food was nice but it didn't blow me away. If visiting the hotel again, I wouldn't choose half board, I would instead book breakfast only and pay while there for a few nights at the restaurant, eating at other restaurants for the rest of the holiday. Although, in saying that, the desserts were incredible every single night!

Beautifully decorated, welcome drink, lots of pools so never feels too busy, free tennis and padel courts, junior suite room was a good size, good breakfast, small beach area with free beds, comfortable sun loungers, app so you can see restaurant menus / activities, helpful reception team, not too far from Rhodes (€15 in a taxi approx)

Our bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied when we arrived and there were notes from previous guests on the notepad, cushions on the chairs outside the room were stained, room service was a little slow, we asked the hotel to arrange our taxi to the airport and it was €39 (the taxi we got from the airport cost €27). Honestly, other than that I can’t fault anything!

Modern aesthetic, swim up pool and excellent staff service

Despite Elissa claiming it was an "adults only" hotel, we somehow had a screaming child in the suite next door to ours which ruined the final day.

Hotel is architecturally stunning, room we had spacious and cool. Staff were very accomodating once past reservations. Food really good quality and the pool areas well maintained and never felt too busy. General atmosphere really relaxing, great music and amazing selection of drinks.

We got a note 24 hours before check in to say they had overbooked the hotel and couldn't accommodate us for the first two nights. We had no choice but to turn up at the hotel anyway as our transfer was already booked. Whilst they ended up being able to sort our room without the need to move we were one of the lucky ones and it certainly ruined our first impressions. The next week reception was filled with couples being told they had to stay elsewhere every day. I've never witnessed this level of overbooking before in a hotel, seemed every other person we spoke to over the week had either been asked/told they may have to move elsewhere or actually did have to. Really poor from what is otherwise an exceptional hotel

Excellent service at Elissa Hotel. Very clean hotel, the room service was fantastic. Such a beautiful hotel to stay and to relax especially if you want a beach holiday. Breakfast - A lot of options (Buffet) and certain changes each day of food, for hot drinks a waiter will approach your seating area and take your order and bring your hot drink to you (Not all hotels provide this service especially for a buffet breakfast). Options for breakfast seated outside or inside. Beach area- Very calm and peaceful area, you are given a beach bag in your hotel room which consists of two beach towels.Water activities available by the beach area to do. Bus access- 2 mins walking distance away from the hotel which will take you to the city centre within 15 mins. Buses run from every half an hour until late in the night past 10pm! Supermarket and car hire facilities near the hotel 2 mins walk away. Hotel Spa- Amazing, beautiful interiors. Lots of options for massages and facilities. Taxi at the hotel service provided and cash machine. I really enjoyed my stay! A nice relaxing break and the staff at the hotel were ever sooo friendly and helpful. Really good customer service.

From the moment arriving the resort, it was clear that this hotel truly deserves its 5 star rating. We were wary welcomed with welcoming drinks, given an overview of the hotel and thereafter driven to our room. Our room was exactly as pictured on the website. We stayed in the junior suite and had direct access to one of the pools at the hotel. We would like to thank Ben ( from Senegal) who took care of our room during our stay. The quality of the linen and the towels were really good and also replaced frequently. We spent our days at the pool outside our room, which was conveniently located at the Rodini Bar. We would like to thank Kostis who prepared delicious cocktails all week long. We also loved enjoying lunch at the pool — the ceasar salad, greek salad, angus burger and Rosé wine is a winning combo. The soft music that they play at the pool also creates a nice ambience. Buffet Restaurant: They had a great selection for breakfast and dinner. I really liked that they serve Greek food for the most part and is not trying to cater for the Americans. Breakfast Stories at Masari: Would like to thank Konstansa for the excellent service during breakfast. She went above and beyond to make it a great experience. The morning I had breakfast here, there was even a Cellist playing background music. The menu itself is good, but considering that is designed by a Michelin Chef I was expecting a little bit more. Kavos Restaurant: We went there for dinner and although the setting is beautiful and the staff were very friendly, we were a bit disappointed in the food. We ordered the lamb chops and Calamari. The menu design itself is good, but was unfortunately not well executed. The desert wine that they served us was delicious. Fourni Restaurant: We really enjoyed our dinner at Fourni. It has the same great setting as Kavos. The service felt a bit elevated compared to Kavos. We had the NZ Lamb Chops and the Rib Eye - both were really nice.

We would like to note that the Helea Resort (kid-friendly) is directly next door, and if your room is situated on that side of the hotel you can hear the sound of kids. The sun beds at the beach are also shared with Helea, so you can expect kids running around.

You have to stand outside the restaurant door for half an hour to enter for breakfast or dinner. There are a lot of waiters, but everyone is standing talking to each other. There are a lot of dirty tables that the waiters don’t clean. Тhe same situation at the reception. To resolve some issue, you had to spend at least 30 minutes near the reception. The reception staff laugh and communicate with each other in their own language. The hotel does not have its own beach. you have to go to the beach of a neighboring hotel, where there were no places for everyone

Lovely hotel - perfect for couples. Not a great deal for our teenage sons to do, but it is sold really as an adult only hotel (suitable for 12 +) so it was fair enough. Amazing choice of food - we all really enjoyed the breakfasts!

The upgrade to a sharing pool doesn't mean you have a pool just for you and your neighbours, anyone can turn up from anywhere in the hotel. The pictures on booking.com of the small pools are for private villas which were not available to book

Amazing! They have 15 pools, bar, kiosk 3 restaurants, great breakfast and amazing service. At reception Katerina Christos and Nefeti were always there to help, they were very kind! Michael was amazing too, and Raphael’s and Deana the same. I’ll be back

We ate at the sushi restaurant and it was very expensive for very tiny portions, there were barely any vegetarian options and I left very hungry. Also we were group of 3 people and we had a room with shared pool, outside there were 2 sun beds and I wish they could prepare to it better because we had to ask for another bed for almost every day

The buffet was excellent, the room — nice and comfortable, the staff — extremely pleasant and helpful. The common areas are very clean, well designed and instagrammable. Coctails are just perfect :)

We love to explore local restaurants and nature and planned to do this here too, but unfortunately there are no places for a walk (except on the hotel grounds) to local restaurants and the only option is to dine at the hotel. The beach also didn’t seem 5 stars to us, but we are comparing it with Mallorca, perhaps this is not very accurate.
